Your pov,
Edward and I laughed as we sneaked out of the musical bar hand in hand and onto the streets. Surprisingly, even though this was the land of the dead, it was just like any other normal town, just that the citizens were skeletons and corpses other than that everything was pretty much normal. My eyes hummed in amusement when I saw a skeleton of a horse standing on a stone as if it was like a statue. Meanwhile, Edward smiled, watching me look around this new land.
"I have to admit, I am quite surprised," he started, making me look back at him.
"Mm? About what?" I asked, the two of us continued strolling down the streets in hand in hand slowly, taking our time. "Well, I don't know...I thought that you might get a little scared at this and... you know, all of this," Edward said, motioning his head to his arm where some of the bones are visible and then, the city around us. I smiled, knowing what he was trying to say.
Β "Well...I might probably have if I was alone. But I am with you and I am not alone so, there's nothing to be really afraid of actually. And you only look a little different from when we last met, but other than that you haven't changed much at all, of course I'm not scared of you. Besides, I think everyone looks quite friendly as well," I said and Edward smiled, tugging me closer to him as he pulled me into his chest and wrapped his arms around me.
"What did I ever do to deserve you, princess?" he mumbled, resting his head on mine and I smile, nuzzling my face into his chest. "You loved me and... even after all these years, you still do like I do...I am sorry I was late," I said, gently putting my hand over his chest and Edward pulled away slightly, his hand gently lifting up my chin to make me look back into his eyes. "You have nothing to apologize for, love. I was the one who failed to keep our promise and left you all alone. I am sorry I wasn't able to come to you," he said, pressing his forehead against mine and continued keeping his arms around my waist as he never broke away his gaze from me.
After listening to Bonejangles's story of Edward, I now know what happened to him while he was coming back to us, but never made it back. He was killed. And all this time, I didn't know a single thing at all.
"It wasn't your fault. You did your best to return me. If there is anyone who should apologize, it should be me. All these years, I never knew what happened to you and I was just sitting around and waiting for you aimlessly. And not only that I almost broke our promise. I am sorry I wasn't there for you when you needed me," I apologized, feeling guilt consuming me in my chest as tears started to form in my eyes again.Β
Edward smiled and cupped my face, wiping my tears away, "Like I said, you have nothing to apologize for, princess. You didn't know and no matter what happened up there while I was gone, I know you didn't break your promise," Edward assured me soothingly, still cupping my cheek and I couldn't even believe at how he's trying to comfort me right now when he doesn't even know the full picture of what almost happened, "How can you say for s-"
"You are still wearing your ring," Edward cut me off with a smile and lifted my hand where I was still wearing the ring he gave me, gently moving his thumb over my fingers. "If you'd broken our promise, you'd have taken this ring off and already be with someone else instead of being here. But you didn't. You're still wearing it and that means you kept our promise. You waited for me just like I waited for you during those five years and then, you found me. You found me and said your vows so perfectly. And now..." he stopped, his ocean blue eyes looked back into my eyes and my heart skipped when I see the way he's looking at me. It was like he was staring deep into my soul and I felt like I belonged again, a feeling which I haven't had for so long, his finger ghosted over my lips and my heart felt like it was about to jump out of my chest when his gaze shifted down to my lips.
"I'm your husband and you are my brave, beautiful, daring wife," he said, the way he said our new titles making my heart skip.
I felt my cheeks reddened when when Edward started leaning in towards my lips, but before he could kiss me once again, two little skeleton dogs rushed past us from between our legs, making us stop as we laughed and watched them disappear out of our sights. "Well, then. Let's show you around our new home, shall we? What do you say, princess?" Edward asked and laughed when he saw me nodding excitedly, eager to explore the new land I am in right now. He held out his arm for me and I hooked my arm around him loosely with a smile before we started walking again and the two of us started looking around together.

Back in the Land of the Living at the (L/n)'s mansion, (F/n) was frantically pacing around back and forth in the living room. The party has just finished, and all the guests have left the party, except from the Castillos. who stayed behind since they were all worried for the very same reason and one reason only, (Y/n). The (h/c) haired girl went missing during the party and no one's seen her around for hours no matter how they search. They had absolutely no idea where the girl has disappeared to and unfortunately to make them even more worried than they already were, (Y/n)'s mare, (H/n), came back to rushing to the mansion with no rider on her back.
Of course, everyone immediately formed a search party looking for the girl throughout the town and the forest where some people say they saw (H/n) came running from there.Β The Duke provided their best guards and as many as men possible to search for the girl and not only that, the Duke, himself, was leading the whole search to find (Y/n) as fast as possible before anything happens to her. It's been a few hours since the search started and the longer it got, the more worried everyone's become. And that was untilΒ the Duke, Raymond, Loen, Lyra and Nicholas came rushing back into the room, making everyone looked up.
"Stefan, have you found her?" Lady Eliza asked, immediately standing up from her seat. The Duke shook his head with a frown and everyone sighed, trying to think of a place where (Y/n) might have possibly gone to. "We haven't found her yet, but we searched through the forest, and we found this," Nicholas said, holding out a piece of torn clothing which was the same material and color as the one (Y/n) was wearing at the party.Β
"She must've disappeared somewhere within the forest," Raymond added and Loen nodded in agreement at his words. Loen and Lyra also went to check the flower field where (Y/n) usually goes to, but there was no sign of the girl as if she just vanished in thin air.Β (F/n) sighed, gripping the torn piece of (Y/n)'s clothing in his hand tight until the Duke put a hand on his shoulder as he looked back at Raymond and Nicholas, "Continue searching. She could still be out there somewhere."
Raymond nodded and immediatelyΒ left to resume the search while Nicholas turned to Lyra and suggested that she should stay back and get some rest which the girl simply huffed and determinedly claimed that she wasn't going to rest until she finds her best friend and went ahead, making Loen smiled proudly as he went after his wife to search for his sister with Nicholas following behind them, watching the couple with a smile. Grandmother Eliza sighed, rubbing her temple slightly as she gripped the handle of her seat and mumbled, "Oh, my child, where have you gone to?"
Noticing how worried his grandmother looked, little Gaelan held her hand with a reassuring smile, "Don't worry, Granny. I am sure they will find Sister (Y/n) very soon," he reassured, making Lady Eliza smiled weakly.Β "My lady, I've prepared rooms for all of you to rest. Why not go and take a rest? I promise you, I will come and tell you as soon as we find (Y/n)," (F/n) said, noticing how tired Grandmother Eliza was looking and the Duke nodded in agreement.Β
"(F/n)'s right, mother. Go take a rest with Margaret and Gaelan, please. I will stay here and help them find her," he said and Eliza was hesitant for a moment and was about to protest, but she quickly covered her gloved hand over her mouth as she started coughing again. The Duchess gentlyΒ patted her back and held her hand, helping her stand, "They're right, mother. I'm sure they will find her very soon without a scratch and I know she will come find you as soon as she gets back. So, please, let's get you some rest for now, okay?" she said, trying to assure Eliza who sighed and nodded silently as the two ladies got up and started walking towards their room with Gaelan following them. They gave (F/n) and the Duke a nod as a goodbye before they left with Grandmother Eliza silently praying for (Y/n) in her mind.
"Wherever you are, please be safe, my child."

Meanwhile, in the Land of The Dead, (Y/n) and Edward were sitting on a wooden bench together, with (Y/n)'s head rested on Edward's shoulder and his head rested on hers. Edward was smiling fondly down at the (h/c) haired girl in his arms as he listened to her filling in him about the things he missed during the past years when he was gone.
He missed this, he thought. He missed holding her like this in his arms and listen to her talk about anything at all. He missed her smile, her sweet kisses, her warm hugs, but most of all, he missed her, everything about her.
There were times when he thought he would never see her again and almost lost hope. But when (Y/n) came back to their meeting place and said her vows to him, he felt so happy that he almost thought he was dreaming. But he wasn't dreaming and not only that, she wasn'tΒ also afraid of him at all when she saw how he was now. He wasn't human anymore and yet, the girl wasn't afraid of him for one bit. She still loves him just like she always did and now, she was his wife. He couldn't be anymore happier than he was right now.
They were now sitting in a rather comfortable silence, looking at the beautiful view of the town below them. There was no moonlight or sunlight, but the violet sky above and the town had its own beauty in (Y/n)'s eyes no matter what people said. And the girl was more than happy now that she was in the arms of her beloved once again. "It's beautiful up here," she started, making Edward smiled as he glanced down at her. "I know right? I thought you might like it if I brought you here as well," he said and (Y/n) looked up to meet his gaze.
"I do. It's been so long since I've seen a view like this. Thank you for bringing me here, I really love it," she said with a happy smile, giving Edward a quick kiss on the cheek which stunned him for a second as their eyes met once again. "B-But what makes me really happier than ever is because I am with you," (Y/n) added shyly with a smile as the girl blushed and looked away slightly, tucking a few strands of her hair behind her ear in an attempt to hide her suddenly warm cheeks which she was sure that her face was now no doubt in a bright red shape of a tomato. And her little attempt to hide her beautiful red face didn't go unnoticed by Edward as he found her extremely beautiful and adorable. He knew for sure that if his heart was still beating, it'd surely have hopped out of his chest from beating too fast for the (h/c) haired girl in front of his eyes.
"You..." he started, slightly tightening his hold on her waist as he pulled the girl closer to him and made her look back into his eyes. Her cheeks darkening even more when his breathe tickled her lips. "Since when did you get even more adorable than you already do, princess?" Edward hummed slightly with a teasing smile, lifting his hand to cup her cheek. He grinned when he saw that familiar playful spark appeared in her (e/c) eyes.
"Mm, I don't know. Why don't you try finding it out?" (Y/n) replied playfully, boldly leaning in closer towards his lips. "Oh, believe me, princess. I intend to," Edward said and with that, he captured her lips into a passionate kiss once more, making (Y/n) smiled as she melted into the kiss. Their lips moved in perfect sync and (Y/n) felt like a part of her that's been missing for along time just returned. She felt complete and for the first time in five years, she felt like she truly belonged again.Β
They pulled away breathlessly and the girl's cheeks reddened even more when she saw the way her husband was looking deep into her eyes like there were only just the two of them in the whole world right now and she felt her heart hammering loudly in her chest. "Oh, wait. I almost forgot. I have something for you," Edward said with a smile, snapping her out of her thoughts as she hummed in response.
She watched him picked up a (f/c) present box and watched him place it on her lap. The girl looked back at Edward with curiosity in her eyes, making him chuckle as he leaned into her ear and whispered, "It's a wedding present." He laughed slightly in satisfactory when he saw how (Y/n)'s eyes lit up with excitement at his words as he watched her started untied the ribbon and opened the box. The (h/c) haired girl gasped in surprise when she saw a pile of bones inside, but before she could say anything, the box started shaking and fell onto the ground. The girl watched in curiosity as the bones rolled out of the box and started connecting themselves into the shape of a cat.
The little skeleton cat barked happily like a dog, taking (Y/n) back in surprise as the girl giggled slightly, amused at its unusual, little unique behavior. "Did I just hear that little cat bark?" she asked, making Edward chuckle. "He has a style of his own. Does it...ring a bell for you?" he asked slowly in anticipation, making (Y/n) looked back at him confused as she furrowed her brows a little, trying to understand what he was trying to say. "Umm, well...he does look a lot like that little cat we used to play with when we were young. We called him..." she trailed off and her eyes widened slightly when it started to come back to her. Her (e/c) eyes slowly shifted back to the little skeleton who was sitting in front of her in disbelief. "Wolfie??" she slowly called, and the little skeleton cat barked happily once again as he jumped onto her lap and started wagging his tail bony tail like a little dog, making (Y/n) giggled happily as she patted him.
"Oh, Wolfie, it's you! Oh, it's been so long! How in the world did you find him?" the girl asked happily between giggles as she continued to pat Wolfie. "It's more like he found me like you found me when I got here. This little fella came up to me as soon as he found me strolling around in the streets. And I thought that both of you might be happy to see each other again, aren't you, boy?" Edward said, playfully ruffling Wolfie's head, making him bark happily. "Oh, what a cutie," (Y/n) cooed, scratching Wolfie under the chin. "Look how happy he's to see you," Edward said and they both chuckled while Wolfie barked happily once again and continued to stay on (Y/n)'s lap.
"Thank you for finding him, Edward. It's such a lovely surprise to see him again. Ah, I don't even have a wedding present to give you something back in return," (Y/n) frowned, realizing that she didn't have any gift to give Edward who chuckled as he cupped a few strands of her hair away behind her ear, "You already gave me a wedding present, princess, remember?" he asked, making (Y/n) looked at him confused.
"I did??" she asked, making Edward smiled as he leaned in, quickly stealing another kiss from her warm lips, "Yes, you did, princess. From that very moment you said your vows to me and became my wife, every moment we spent together has been a gift for me. Just having you beside me again like this is more than enough for me," he said, gently resting his forehead on (Y/n)'s as he lovingly looked into her eyes with a warm smile that made (Y/n) blushed and made her heart started hammering in her chest even more.
"I love you," (Y/n) said and Edward's eyes widened slightly for just a short second before he smiled and kissed her forehead, wrapping his arm around her shoulder securely, "I love you too, princess."
Wolfie let out a small bark at the couple, drawing their attention back to him. The two shared a laugh once again and Edward patted Wolfie's head, grinning happily, "Of course, we love you too, bud. But just to be clear, don't always steal (Y/n)'s attention away from me, alright?" Edward said, half-jokingly saying the last part which Wolfie reacted by giving a happy bark in return as if he was agreeing with what Edward was saying. Just then, the door opened behind them, drawing their attention. "Ah, there's our newlyweds! Edward, my boy, why don't we have a friendly duel to celebrate your wedding?" one of the tall skeleton soldiers from the bar suggested, spotting the couple cozily sitting on the bench and looking at the view.
Edward opened his mouth to reply but stopped when he heard a familiar voice of a maggot beside him, "Yes, a duel sounds brilliant! I love to see you duel. I bet your girlfriend would love to see it too." The couple turned to glance at the green maggot that's just climbed onto Edward's left shoulder who rolled his eyes slightly at the maggot's words, shaking his head with a smile as he took (Y/n)'s hand in his, holding it tight in his hand. "She's not my girlfriend, Maggot. She's my wife," Edward corrected boldly with a smile, emphasizing on the word 'wife' as he brought (Y/n)'s hand to his lips and kissed the back of it, his eyes beaming with pride as they stared deep into those (e/c) eyes of the (h/c) haired girl in front of his eyes. The girl blushed at her husband's actions and looked away shyly with a big, happy smile that mirrored Edward's.
"So, what do you say, princess? Want to see me duel?" Edward asked with a confident smile and stood up, extending his hand out towards (Y/n) who smiled and took his hand with a playful smile, "I don't see why not."
