Of course Orpheus would put Nakata in for Gianluca... Since he's wearing the captain's band, I'm guessing he was the original captain, and Fideo was subbing in for him. Wait a minute... now I know him! Hidetoshi Nakata! The genius player from Japan! I guess he converted himself into an Italian...

The match began with Orpheus' kickoff. Raffaele kicked the ball to Fideo, who kicked it to Nakata. Shuuya was about to steal the ball but Nakata kicked it to Giannini, who kicked it to Dante when Kazemaru was about to get the ball. They've gotten good at their passing accuracy... not to mention, they got fast in finding open spaces. They weren't like from the first half... of course. Nakata's back with them. It's obvious that they would go faster and powerful than before.

"Rena!"

"Got it!" I blocked Fideo, who had the ball in his possession. "I can't believe this." Fideo started. (note, we were still trying to get the ball) "I never thought that you'd be on this field." "Gianluca already told me that, Fideo." I said still trying to get the ball from him. "Well, then I guess he must've told you about this." 

"About wha--"

He got past me. Dang it! Note to self; Never fall for that trick again. Shirou and Kabeyama were blocking him, but Fideo saw the opportunity to pass it to Nakata. Once Fideo got away from Shirou and Kabeyama, Nakata passed it back to Fideo, who used "Odin Sword". Endou used "Ijigen the Hand" but it broke. Luckily Kidou had kicked the ball at the goalpost and Endou had caught it. I sighed in relief. "That was close..." I muttered.

Endou kicked the ball to Kazemaru, who got past Dante and kicked it to Akio, who kicked it to Kidou. Fideo and the others did "Catennacio Counter" again. Kidou got past Fideo but unfortunately came up from behind and stole the ball. In a short time, they managed to evolve those tactics further. 

The ball was passed to Fideo, who did a back pass to Nakata, who used "Brave Shot". The was heading towards the goal with strong blue lights following. "Ijigen the Hand" was used again but it didn't work, making Orpheus have a one point lead. It's about time we use Convergence already! Or Fubuki no Honoo! Or Scorpion's Tail! Wait... I just realized...

With Shirou on the defense, he'll have a hard time moving back if the shot fails. Using Fubuki no Honoo was a risk since I'll have to get past Nakata. I can use the first version of Scorpion's Tail, but it'd be hard getting past Dante, Raffaele, Giannini, and Fideo. I can't use the other version of Scorpion's Tail since... Wait. I haven't tried with Toramaru and Akio yet. I think we might have a shot on that. Problem is... how are we gonna get past Nakata?

"Rena, something wrong?" Jirou asks. 

"I was thinking about Scorpion's Tail..." I said. "Where's Akio?"

"What about me?" Akio looked at me. 
"I need you to do Scorpion's Tail with me." I said. "It's our last hope."

"Why not Fubuki no Honoo or Convergence?" Shirou asks.

"It'll be hard for you to get back to the defense line if the shoot fails, plus none of us can't get past Nakata," I said. "As for Fubuki no Honoo, it'll be difficult to get past Fideo and the others due to their fast moving for open spaces and positions." I looked at them. "Scorpion's Tail is our last hope."

"First, how are we supposed to win against Catennacio Counter?" Kidou asks, butting in. 

"Oh, my brother and Fudou will be behind you in order for the three of you to use Emperor Penguin #3, and if that fails, me and Fudou will use Scorpion's Tail." I shrugged. 

"Easier said than done..." Shirou said.

"Don't worry." I smiled. "Have I ever been wrong?"

"How will you get up ahead then?" Jirou asks again.

"Easy. While they're focusing on you three, they won't focus on me running towards the goal." I smirked a little. "It helps when you have some speed." 

The match resumes again, and it was a stalemate. Every one was doing their best in order to win. The ball was with Dante but Shirou did a sliding and passed it to me. I ran up a little before passing it to Kidou, Jirou and Akio secretly following behind. When they did Catennacio Counter, Nakata was right behind Kidou once he got past Fideo. Jirou and Akio arrived from behind and did a 2-3 pass. They used "Emperor Penguin #3", and it went in, giving us a tied score. Guess I didn't have to use Scorpion's Tail after all.

I suddenly felt a cold shiver down my spine. I realized that Fideo was right behind me... why am I feeling a cold chill so suddenly? It's not like I was scared, right. Then again, the last time I was scared was when Akari did a dark shot and I wasn't able to move.

"The ball! Rena!"

My thoughts were snapped out when the ball was passed to me. I wasn't even blinking when Fideo got the ball from me... wait a minute. I see Fideo running towards the goal but at the same time, it wasn't him. 

"Shin! Dark Odin Sword!"

It was like Dark Odin Sword, but with more power and speed. What the hell? Fideo just saw that technique during the first half! How in the hell did he copy that and made it powerful at the same time?! I was right about this, it's not Fideo who shot that, just like me when I shot Dark Odin Sword!

The score was now 4-3. There was still time to get one or two points back! Endou kicked the ball to me and I ran up forward, alone. I don't know how I got past Nakata and the rest, but I do remember Akio following right behind me, smirking. "Guess this is the chance to use it now!" "Yeah, and don't hold back, Akio!" I said to him, returning the smirk. 

I felt venom on my legs, and I'm guessing so did Akio. "Scorpion's Tail!" The both of us kicked the ball, purple and green venom trailing, followed by a large scorpion. It got in the goal just in the nick of time... but we couldn't win. Even though we tied with 4-4 from the scoreboard, that meant that we had to wait for another deciding match... If America wins against Argentina, we'd go back, empty-handed. Exhausted, I lay on the ground, panting. "We... couldn't... win..." I managed to breath out. Akio knelt on the ground, saying, "I wanted to win against him" while panting heavily. 

"Be proud, guys!"

We turned to Endou, who stood up, a smile on his face. "We did what we could with everything we had."

All of us smiled at his positive side. "Hey, Kio, help me up."

"Why did you lie down on the ground in the first place?" He chuckled before helping me stand up. "Thanks for doing Scorpion's Tail, Kio." I said, shaking his hand. Instead of letting go of my hand, he was still holding it. "No problem, Ren." He let go after a couple of seconds.

Soon, all of us were lined up, face to face. "It was a good match." Endou said. 

Nakata nodded. "I enjoyed it thoroughly."

"Sorry about what Anton and I said." Vento held his hand out. I gladly shook it. "Forgiven."

"Forgiving, eh?" Gianluca shook his head while smiling. 

"Leave it, that's what Fideo likes about her!" Feliciano came up from behind them, earning a sudden slap from Angelo. Ouch. That has got to hurt.

We walked back to the benches. Megane saying what was supposed to be said. Sighing, I looked at Kouji and Rushe, who were worried. I walked over to them and gave them ruffles on their hairs. "Nah, don't feel bad about it." I said. "We'll win next time."

I heard police sirens... Kageyama...

"Did you turn yourself in?!" Kidou looked at Kageyama with worry. Kouji and Rushe were holding both of my hands, gripping them tightly. "This makes my last match," Kageyama said. "It was fun while it lasted."

Kidou looked up at him for a moment, then he did the unexpected.

He took off his goggles...

...those same red eyes I saw through his goggles back then, when I wasn't sure about his eye color...

(Flashback= A Year Ago)

I was new to this team. Better yet, I wish I never joined. Urgh, why did I ever agree to Jirou in the first place? Then again, me and Jirou always agree with everything. But this time I wish I didn't agree with this one.

"Kidou, this is my twin sister, Rena." He introduced, snapping me out of my thoughts. I looked in front of me, seeing a boy with dreadlocks, wearing a red cape and goggles, along with the Teikoku soccer uniform and captain's band... I didn't realize I was staring at his goggles for a couple of seconds... why does he look familiar, like I've seen him somewhere?

"Your sister?" Kidou glances at my brother, snapping me out of my thoughts again. "Yeah. Can she join the team?"

"...I'll allow it. Her first day starts tomorrow." Kidou proceeds to walk away, making me wonder... what color are his eyes...? 

(Present Time)

Those eyes were the same eyes I saw back then, before Teikoku and Raimon were fighting against each other. Now, I see them again. 

"Darkrai's Possession!"

"LOOK OUT!" 

I let go of Rushe and Kouji and pushed Kidou to the ground, letting the shoot hit something else instead. Smoke was all over, and when it faded, Kageyama was gone. The police, which were already there, must've thought he had gotten away. I feared the worst... what if Darkrai's Possession got him? I was mentally panicking. "Get off me!" Kidou lightly pushed me off. The only thing that remained was broken sunglasses. Rushe's eyes went wide of shock before fainting in Akio's arms. Kouji was on his knees, not believing what was happening. Everyone was in a state of shock, including Fideo and the rest. 

(Third Person POV)

Everyone went back to the dorms that day, feeling anger, regret, worry, and sorrow. Rushe was still unconscious while Kouji was helping her wake up. Kidou, Fudou, and Jirou were silent the whole time, along with Rena and the others. Okita was quietly growling. How could someone kill him like that? He may have done wrong but this? This was too far. Clara, who usually had a monotone expression, became angry. "How the hell did someone do that?!" She asked furiously. "Someone got in the stadium, but only Rena could do that move, along with my father." Okita faced them. "I know my daughter wouldn't do it, and my father's dead."

"...I have a guess..." Gina says. They looked at Gina, who was horrified. "K-Kuroi d-did i-it." She stammered. 'How could he do it?' Rena thought, holding her anger inside. 'I never taught him that technique, nor did I ever let him see that technique... unless... No. Not now. I am not letting this go on...'

'Riiight. Yeah, you're not gonna be able to keep this from them, and you're not gonna be able to tell them because---'

"Hey! Someone's at the lodge!"

'Thank god...' Rena sighed in relief. Once they all got out, Rosa was standing outside the door, along with a man wearing a white, Japanese military uniform. He had short, black hair and hazel-brown eyes. Okita widened his eyes. "Kiku! What are you doing here?!" He asked in a worried tone. "I thought you retired from being a player after---" "Your team is in danger." Kiku said in a serious tone, cutting the said man off. Kiku looks at Rena before walking over to her. Rena was just looking at the tall man in confusion. 

'What the heck?! How can he see me?!' 

"It appears you have it too..." Kiku said in disappointment. Okita suddenly went even more worried. "What? What does she have, Kiku?! What?!" He shouted. Everyone was looking at him for an answer. Kiku sighed. 

"She has the Alteria Curse."

"A-Alteria Curse?!" Fubuki widened his eyes. "S-She can't have! She doesn't have an alter-ego!" He shouted. "You know this, Fubuki?" Endou asks, and the white-haired boy nods. "The Alteria Curse has two things: One, you can see the alter-ego of a person, and the other one, you let your alter-ego control you." "Apparently, me and my brother Kuro have that curse." Kiku said bitterly. "He's still mad at me for taking his place. He's after your daughter, Okita." Kiku turns to Okita, who looks more furious than ever.

"I'm sorry."

They turned to Rena, who's eyes were covered by a shadow.
