We were all at the hospital (except for Lovino, Francois, and Arthur), and so was Endou and the rest. "What happened?! That unknown match was placed on the news!" Jirou shouted. "Wait a minute, how come you're here?!" I said, shocked. "Feliciano didn't make it in time. He literally threw his container of pasta at the boat." Fideo said, shuddering. "We saw what happened, and probably after the match between Argentina, that match will be placed in." Kidou said.

"I'm worried about that kid..." Nami said, looking down. "I know... I mean, he's only seven." Gina said.

"What happened anyway?" Endou asked, obviously looking curious, and clueless. "You just left suddenly. Blasi said that you got a call from Nami, whoever that guy is." Jirou said, earning a, "Hello! I'm right here, cyclops!", from Nami, who looked a little angry. "My bad, sorry." Jirou apologized.

"Well, for starters," Kidou started. "I'd like to know, why two players from Unicorn are here." "Oh. I'm Alfred Jones, and here's my bro Mattie!" Alfred gave his twin brother a noogie, earning a laugh from Fideo and Mark.

"OK, so..." Kuroi came in, holding a folder. "I asked the local orphanage here in Liocott, and the kid's real name is Muramasa Kouji, not Shinpi." He said, looking at the folder, which I'm guessing contained files about him. "His parents live here in Liocott, but died in a fatal accident. Only Kouji survived... with a trauma. He was only four when it happened, and right in front of him too." He said grimly. I looked at him sadly. At the age of five he lost his parents...

"That Trina..." Matthew growled. "Hurting an innocent little kid!"

"Kyoka Suigetsu..." Akio pondered. "Hey... I did hear that word. Once." He said. We looked at him. "It was---"

"Mama! Mama!"

Kouji, who was still in his hospital gown, starting running up to me (crying, I might add), and hugged me. "Mama! They're trying to inject me again!!!"

"'Mama'?" Nami and Kuroi started laughing, along with Akio, who had red blush on his face. I glared at them. "Knock it off, you guys." I said, blushing. Kouji let go of the hug and looked at Akio, which made him cry even more. "Papa! Tasukete! Sorera no isha wa futatabi watashi o chūsha suru tsumoridesu!" (Translation; Help me! Those doctors are gonna inject me again!)

"I would never imagine Fudou as a father." Kidou said, earning a glare from Akio; He looked kinda offended, and the red blush on his went darker. Urgh... just thinking about that day...

(Flashback= Yesterday)

"Help?! Well, you're help's gonna bring all of us in a heap of trouble, Fudou Akio!" If I were---"

"Shut your trap."

"You don't tell me to---!"

Akio grabbed me, led me into a corner, and kissed me. In shock, I tried pushing him away but he ended up pinning me to the wall. I kicked his gut, and he fell to the ground. "What. The. Hell?!" I asked furiously. My face was in a darker shade of red, and so was his. "I told you to shut your trap, so I made you shut it." Was Akio's reply.

"You just stole my first kiss, you idiot!" I shouted.

"So?" He replied coldly.

"Don't 'so' me! I was saving that!"

"For whom? Goggle boy? Lion head?" Akio looked at the ground.

I didn't stay any longer and just left him standing there.

(Present Time)

"Kouji!"

My thoughts were snapped out when a female doctor came, holding a syringe. "Kouji, it's just one shot." She said sweetly. "Iie!" Kouji hugged me again. The doctor sighed. "Alright, Kouji. But sooner or later, you will get that shot. Here." She handed the syringe to Endou before walking away. This was awkward enough for me. "Err, she's gone now." I said, stroking his hair. He looked up at me. I gave a look to Endou, who immediately understood and hid the syringe in his pocket.

"Mama, papa? How come you look younger?" Kouji looked at me and Akio. Akio knelt down at his level, smiling a little. "We just look like your parents, Ji, but if it makes you feel better, we can vouch for it." He ruffled his hair. Kouji wiped the tears off his own face and smiled. "Arigato!"

"Pfft... I can't believe this..." Kuroi was holding his laughter, in result, Gina whacked him in the head. "Oh shut up. I think it's cute! Plus, Rena's good with kids!"

The team lost to Argentina, but that didn't mean we were going down without a fight. In two weeks, we'll be up against Unicorn, so we had to train hard. Apart from that, I had to explain the match that happened during the Argentina match, and how little Kouji became part of the team. For now anyway.

Still though, I can't believe that me and Akio were gonna vouch as this kid's parents. I didn't mind if it was Kidou, Kazemaru, Endou even! But, he was the look-alike of Kouji's dead father. I mentally groaned.

Kouji was with Kidou, Kazemaru, Jirou and Hiroto. I have to admit, he got along with the rest easily. I smiled to myself a little. He's a cute kid. Although the dad... I'd say more or less.

"Rena!"

"Huh?"

The kicked the ball that was heading towards me, at the goal. The kicker was of course, none other that Fudou Akio. I rolled my eyes. "Alright, what is it?" I asked. "Aside from your angry mood," He said sarcastically. "I got the files from Kuroi; That little Kouji didn't lie when he said 'mama' and 'papa' to us. We looked like them."

Akio showed a photograph of Kouji's parents; No joke. Akio looked exactly like the dad (except that, he had, well, hair) and I looked exactly like the mom. "Funny. I thought he was just delirious." I said. "OK, I know you're mad about... they other day." He blushed. "But, for now, please, just please," He held my hands. "Just... be a mom, for a little while?"

I looked at him for a moment. He looked... like he was begging. I gave an inwarded sigh. "Fine. But only for---"

He hugged me.

The. Actual. Heck?!

"FUDOU!!!"

I was lucky the coach gave us the day off. Kouji wanted to go sight-seeing, so me and Akio asked if we could take Kouji out for a walk. He said it was fine, as long as we get back here before lunch. It was fairly early in the morning anyway, around 7 am-ish, I think.

"Mama, papa?"

"Yeah kiddo?" Akio looked at the little kid.

Kouji looked down and fiddled with the hem of his shirt. (which I gave him, somehow I packed my old shirts) "Can we get gelato on the way home later?" He asked. I looked at Akio, who gave a slight nod, smiling. I looked back at Kouji. "Sure. We can get some later."

"Yay! Thank you mama, papa!" Kouji smiled at us, and for some reason, I smiled a little too. Guess this little guy got me attached. "You're really like my real mama and papa," Kouji started, and stopped walking, and so did we. "The three of us would stroll around the island, and get gelato on the way home. Occasionally, it would be ice cream." He looked down. "I miss mama and papa..."

"Aww, don't cry kiddo," Akio and I knelt down to his level, and he ruffled his hair. "You don't mind if it's us? I mean, we only look like them." He said. Kouji shook his head. "I don't mind at all!" He giggled. "You both are nice! And papa would always call me 'Ji' if I did a good job!" "Haha, you are doing a good job." I said. "You managed to live on your own."

"I lived in an orphanage, but I ran away. I didn't like it there. The kids were mean." Kouji puffed his cheeks. "They said my eyes were weird, and my hair wasn't normal."

"Don't listen to them, Kouji." Akio placed his hand on his shoulders. "They're just jealous."

"Jealous?" Kouji tilted his head.

"You have something they don't, Ji." I said, smiling. "You can play awesome soccer! For little kid, I didn't know you'd be that good."

"Hontou ni, mama? Hontou?" He asked.

"Yeah. Me and mama were really impressed." Akio said.

"Yay! I love you mama, papa!"

"We love you too, Ji." I said hugging him, along with Akio.

...I'm admitting it... Akio does make a great dad...

I broke the hug. "Wanna take a gondola ride?" I asked. "You'll get to see the buildings of Italy."

"Can we papa, can we?" Kouji looked at Akio, who chuckled. "Of course, Kouji."

I stood up and held Kouji's left hand. Akio did the same to his right and stood up. "Let's go! Onward!"

Me and Akio laughed as the three of us walked to Italy's area.

I guess, I was wrong about Akio.

He's actually a nice guy...
