My dad laughed at his own joke. It was already the next day. When I told my parents about it... well, dad was so happy. Mom gave me her best wishes, but it felt like she wasn't happy at all. That's when I remembered my dream; When I ask the younger version of mom, she just said that I'll find out soon...

"It's almost time!" My dad exclaimed. "You better start!"

"Bye mom, bye dad! Tell Jirou I already left!"

I grabbed my duffle bag and ran out of the house. I was excited for training! Especially, it's an all girls' team!!! I can't wait! If any of us gets in, then I'm happy enough for them!

"Ah... so Reina joined Trina, so we have a replacement?"

"Yup! This is Yagami Hikari!" Nina introduced. Now I remember, she's Taichi's little sister. 

"Also, Gina went to Liocott already, and Mimi went abroad, so we have two other girls..." Sora said.

There, right behind my friend, Utsonomiya Akira, was a girl who had black hair and eyes similar to Fudou's. She was already wearing the team kit, so it no surprise to that. I cleared my throat. "I'm the captain, Sakuma Rena. What's yours?"

"...Nica. Fudou Nica..." The girl replied in a monotone voice. Oh no wonder the Fudou eyes were there... hope that's she not like her brother.

The other girl was Midou Reika. I kept in contact with her, even thought she was a complete and utter insult when she thought I was Jirou when she called.

"OK guys, let's get started with training!" I exclaimed. "All of you, go get changed, and we'll started with stretches. K?"

"Hai, taichou!" Everyone shouted.

When all of us got changed into our team kits, which considered the colors of indigo, dark teal, and light green, we got off to our stretching routine; 2 laps, 20 sit ups, 20 push ups, a 50 minute break, 2 more laps, 10 jumping jacks, and a soccer practice match along with kicking practice.

We would take at least half the day, so we might uh... extend a little bit.

"Mou, tsuka reta!" My cousin, Hanako panted, right after we did the push ups. 

"Min'na, hon'nosukoshi sutoretchi renshū shi, watashitachiha kyūkei o toru koto ga dekimasu." I said, panting. Boy I really wished I didn't plan all this.

So, we took our break. I admit, being a captain is hard. Well, I'm a captain at Teikoku, but my brother is as well. This is the first time that I became a leader without my brother. I looked at the sky as I drank my water.

"Sakuma-san, we have 20 minutes left." 

I looked over and saw Akira. Right. I heard that her little brother, Toramaru, got chosen, so I gave a congratulations. Of course, Toramaru trains here most of the time, so I see him every Saturday. "Thanks for telling me, Akira." I said. 

"Man... 20 minutes of boredom." Hanako panted. Hanako is my cousin. I kinda had to ask my aunt Suzumi, and the condition was that on vacation I'd help her out at the cafe she was working in. And also stay with them in June until July. I agreed, and my mom was a little furious because I had called without permission. 

"Man... for some reason, I'm feeling nervous." Shinobu said. Who wouldn't? I mean, I'm ready nervous right now.

"Ah, Rena, I almost forgot to ask." Nika started. "How are we going to beat them? I mean, it's Nina's sister we're talking about." Now that she mentioned it, I didn't have the slightest idea how to beat them... aha!

"I'm going to have to visit an old friend of mine in Raimon." I said.

"Can I go with you? I'm going to have to see Akio-nii." Nica said.

"Akira, do you wanna see your brother?" I asked.

"Of course!" Akira exclaimed.

"OK, then that makes three of us." I said. Before we got back to early training I changed my team members on the list;

It was already a few days. Inazuma Japan won against Australia and Qatar. It was pretty amazing on how they managed to beat Australia at first. Don't worry, I managed to ask Izumi and Jyou to take a video. Izumi during matches and Jyou during their practice. Hey, I need new techniques to copy!

And just last night I got a call from Narukami, saying that their team, Neo Japan, will be playing against them. Of course, I was going to watch them. Well... at the benches. Akira and Nica came along with me, and somehow Hikari and Hanako managed to sneak away and hid behind Nica.

And we got there just in time. I was lucky that I texted Narukami last night so I can know about the members of Neo Japan;

Wow. A merged team... that's a new thing. Then again, my team is a merge too...

"Rena-chan! I didn't know you were here!"

"Ah, Haruna. I came to watch, you know." I said. Haruna and I have become close these past few weeks, along with Aki. There was a new girl with them, named Kudou Fuyuka. Fuyuka looked timid and shy, but I guess that's her true nature. 

"I heard from Jirou you've been training hard these past few days." Touko said, looking tired. 

"Yup. Even though I won't get chosen, at least I played." I said, shrugging. 

"I was called, but I joined team A of course. Reika-chan joined your team, so I wish you guys the best!" Rika said. Well, Rika apologized for the things she said, and I forgave her. Reluctantly anyway...

"Good luck at the match. I heard it's after Fire Dragon, Korea's team. Clara-senpai joined." Aki said. Ah, of course... wait, was she half Korean? I thought Hyun would...

I heard the whistle blew, and it was Inazuma Japan's kickoff. Shuuya kicked it to Shirou and he ran forward. He got past Kirigakure in an instant. Gouin and Jimon blocked him but Shirou passed it to Toramaru, who was already running forward, but Narukami did a sliding so the ball went out.

"Aww man that was so close!" Akira said. 

Hanako was hiding behind me now. Said she was scared of the captain and the goalkeeper. OK, she has a right to call the captain scary but she has no right to call my friend scary...

Kogure did a throw in to Kidou, who kicked the ball to Hiroto. "All right, this time---!"

Touko's sentence was cut off when Arata and Ishidaira blocked his path, and Arata had the ball. Man, their defense is tight! More tighter than Senbayama's defense! I'll admit, they're good...

When Toramaru got blocked, he managed to pass the ball to Shirou, who was completely free. He was already running towards the goal. 

"Wolf Legend!"

"Drill Smasher, V2!"

What. The. Heck?!?!

"D-Drill Smasher?!" I exclaimed in disbelief. "H-How in the heck?!"

"Looks like someone took their place as copy cat..." I heard Hanako mutter. No way! I am so talking to Koujirou later when the match is over!

Koujirou threw the ball to Osamu, and he ran forward. Kidou and Hiroto blocked him but...

"Illusion Ball Remastered!"

"Wasn't that Teikoku's hissatsu technique just now?!" Aki exclaimed in shock. Heck yeah that was!!! How in the world did he copy that?! How the heck?!

There were a lot of techniques that I've seen that was copied and upgraded! OK, when the match is over, I, am, going to have a private word with Genda Koujirou, and that is it! Oh, and not to mention that Neo Japan had the first point!

Shirou got blown away by Jimon and Gouin's, "Double Cyclone", and the ball was with Osamu. The ball was with Arata now and he used "Gungnir V2". Luckily, Endou made his technique, "Fist of Justice", evolve.

"Yatta!" Hikari exclaimed.

"They're getting there." Nica said.

"Go, Inazuma Japan!" Hanako exclaimed.

Soon, after, Kazemaru switched in for Toramaru. Huh, he was all sweaty when he came... he must've been training, but for what?

"Whoa! Cool technique!" I heard Hanako exclaim, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Hope you got that, Sakuma. Dance of the Wind God is the technique." Nica said. Right. Thank you. 

Soon we had a tied score thanks to Shuuya's, "Fireball Storm". The whistle blew, so that meant the first half was already over.

"Great job, you guys!" Rosa exclaimed, handing Jousuke, Kidou, Ryuuji, and Endou their water bottles. 

"Sooner or later you'll win this!" Hanako exclaimed, going out of her hiding spot, which was behind my back.

"Sakuma! Didn't expect someone like you to be here!" I heard Akio said in a sarcastic voice. I scoffed and ignored him. 

"Akio-nii, don't." I heard Nica say in an embarrassed tone.

"We saw you at the ceremony. Hope your team will win!" Endou exclaimed.

"Endou, even if their team wins, I have to pick out of 22 girls." Touko said.

"So even if they win, you can still pick from team A?" Rosa asked and Touko nodded.

"And these must be your teammates?" I heard Kidou ask.

"Yup. My cousin Mikado Hanako, Toramaru's older sister, Utsonomiya Akira, Fudou's sister Nica, and Taichi's little sister, Hikari." I introduced. Hikari gave a bow and smiled. Hanako shook Endou, Kidou, Shuuya, Shirou, and Kazemaru's hands. Akira gave a usual greeting and began talking to Toramaru, and Nica just gave a monotonous "Hi", then sat down on the grass.

My phone vibrated. "Sorry guys, we can't stay long."

"I'll just text who won, Rena." Rosa said.

"Ice Ground!"

Hikari stole the ball from me with ease, and kicked it to Reika. It's been a few days already, and Inazuma Japan will be fighting Fire Dragon in 3 days. I was getting nervous. For most of the few weeks I've been losing my cool and focus lately because of the pressure...

...not to mention the harsh words I had from my best friend...

(Flashback; A few weeks ago)

"Koujirou, we need to talk."

"There's nothing to talk about."

I fumed. I never got to talk to him after the match because of training. Rosa texted that Inazuma Japan, and Neo lost. Now I asked to meet up with Koujirou behind an alleyway because of we were going to have a private talk. Now he's saying that there was nothing to talk about?!

"Yes, there is." I said. "Why didn't you tell me about this? I'm your friend!"

"Don't act like you know." Koujirou said harshly. "You found yourself. You found your old self. I'm happy and all but sometimes I think you're just acting so someone to be friends with you."

"So you thought I was acting when I found myself thanks to Endou and the others?!" I said angrily. "You've gone immature after the Aliea incident!"

"Oh I've gone immature?!" He looked at me angrily. "You wanted to quit soccer because of your problem and you damn nightmares!"

"Don't you dare bring this up, Genda Koujirou!" I shouted.

"I don't give a damn of what I'm bringing up!" He shouted back. "I wish I never met you at all! I should've just left you so I wouldn't have met you! You're nothing but a damn sensitive idiot who only cares about herself!!!"

I froze. 

I had tears in my eyes.

"Oh yeah?!" I sniffed. "So that confession you told me was nothing to you?! You said you liked me now you're saying I'm an idiot?! What kind of man are you?!" I wiped the tears, but they kept falling down. "Just so you know, another reason why I called you was because I wanted to reply to that confession, I was going to finally answer you yet you're just telling me I'm an idiot?! You're the idiot, Genda!"

"I don't love you and I never will!!!"

I froze. "F-Fine! Then find yourself a new captain at Teikoku! I'm out!" I started walking out of the alleyway.

"G-Good...! I-I never needed you anyway, you idiot!" I heard him shout.

When I was an another alleyway, I hid behind a dumpster and cried. Finally... I wanted to answer him. He wasn't my second choice.... I fell in love with him the moment we met. Kidou was just someone to deny myself with, nonetheless, Koujirou never left my mind... now, after hearing this...

"I thought I found someone..."

(Present Time)

"Good game guys..." I said, going to the benches.

Today's the day.

Inazuma Japan won against Fire Dragon. Now, is the time for our team to fight against Trina.

"OK guys, let's do this!" I shouted.

"Yeah! Fighting Dreamers!" Hanako and Hikari shouted.

Yeah.... we're fighting dreamers...
