"You really tend to leave us at good moments, don't you?"

I gave Kenjirou an eye roll before playfully punching him on the shoulder. Kenjirou had said that Gemini Storm had left a message to us yesterday, and that they'd be coming soon. Also, since their speed is the problem, we have to train in the snow. And I mean it, IN. THE. SNOW.

"Where's the others?" I asked.

"We're supposed to make lunch later, but they'll just call us." Kenjirou said. "For now, they're just seeing Fubuki-san's power."

"You... don't notice anything weird about him, right?" I asked.

"Aside from him acting a little cocky when he has the ball, nothing really. Why?" Kenjirou asked.

"N-Nothing. Wanna see what they're doing?"

Changing the subject, the both of us went out. Kenjirou wasn't wearing an extra layer of clothes, while I was wearing the Raimon official team jacket and pants. (Kino had extra pairs packed)

They weren't at the field, and they weren't anywhere around the area. So we tried behind the school. When we did, we saw Shirou sliding down a slope with a snowboard. Giant snowballs were being rolled, and he managed to dodge them in split seconds.

"So snowboarding like this is considered training for speed..." Kenjirou muttered.

"Hey! Rena, Kenjirou-senpai, we're going to try and do this!" Endou exclaimed, pointing down at the slope. I don't snowboard. Or ski, or skate.... yeah snow isn't that much of my taste.

I was going to walk to them, but I saw snow falling down from a tree, sounding like an avalanche. Glancing at Shirou, he stopped snowboarding, went on his knees, and clutched his head. I'm guessing avalanches had a large trauma in his life.

A few minutes later, everyone, including me, were wearing snowboarding gear. Like I said before, I can't snowboard. But unfortunately for me, Gina, Kuroi, and Kenjirou had gotten the idea, while I was stuck on the slope, sweat dropping. "Ay, if only I knew how snowboarding works---- HEY!!! DOMON ASUKA!!!"

I was wobbling back and forth down the slope thanks to Asuka's funny trick to push me. My arms were flailing, and my snowboard kept going left and right. 

"I can't snowboard!" I shouted. "Asuka! You're going to get it once I find a way to---!"

My rant was cut off short when I felt a hand grab mine; It was Shirou's. I don't know if I should thank him, or just look at him speechless. 

"You have to enjoy yourself." He said, looking at me. "Once you do, you'll be able to get the hang of it." 

Flashing a grin, he let go of my hand and glided down. "Wow..." I stopped in my tracks for a moment. Everyone was doing their best to balance themselves and match the speed. I took a deep breath and started snowboarding again, this time, I wasn't wobbling back and forth, and I managed to get the hang of it.

"Rena! Watch out!"

"It's tough being like the wind..."

Once we finished training, at least, that's what I'm calling it, all of us were already going inside for dinner. Endou was clutching his right shoulder, mainly because I wasn't paying attention, and the both of us ended up in a giant snowball. I apologized though.

"You're not eating?" Endou asked.

"I forgot something in the caravan. I'll be right back." I said.

Putting on the Raimon jacket, I went outside and got inside the caravan. I checked my phone, only to see that I had one message from Shuuya, and one message from some unknown number. Who could this be? I shrugged and opened the unknown message first.

Guess you don't know who this is, which I prefer anyway. I don't know if you're reading this, but you and Kuroi make a great team. Watch over him for me, since I can't.

So I guess this person is related to Kuroi. Whoever this person is, I'm watching over him alright. Now for Shuuya's.

I can't tell you now, it's risky. I'll call you soon when it's safe. Sorry.

I guess it's urgent. I sighed. No messages from Jirou or Koujirou either. Not even from my parents. It's odd... but I shrugged it off. 

"Rena-chan?"

I turned around to see Shirou. "Ah, Shi-- Fubuki-san." I said, bowing at him. "Sorry for uh... throwing the snowball yesterday." I scratched the back of my neck.

"Daijoubu." Shirou said, smiling. Why is my facing heating up whenever he flashes a smile? Geez...

"How come you're not eating with the others?" He asked. 

"I uh... needed some time alone. I'd sing but, I had a feeling that someone would show up." I said. Wait, why did I just blurt that out? What is wrong with me today?

"Eh? Sing?" He raised an eyebrow. 

"Err... please forget I said anything." I said. 

"You should go back inside. It's getting cold." He said. I guess he noticed I was shivering a little. Well, I wasn't really used to the cold. "Sure."

"No one's around. Finally..."

I sighed in relief when I went back to the slopes with no one around. I could ski alone without anyone trying to push me. 

"Sakuma/Rena?"

"Eh? Someoka? Endou? Kazemaru?" I asked, glancing at them. Man, I thought I was gonna be alone this time. "How come you're doing the training? I thought you didn't like it." I said, looking at Someoka. 

"Something made him change his mind." Kazemaru said, and Endou gave a thumbs up.

"How come you're here?" Someoka asked. "I thought you couldn't ski."

"Meh," I shrugged. "I decided to try and practice. Maybe I'll make another technique out of this."

After some talking, the four of us started skiing again. Getting the hang of it, Endou had managed to break an incoming snowball (mind you, it was large), Kazemaru and Someoka had almost mastered the speed, and I was getting good at skiing and being able to get the right amount of speed. Even while practicing, we had a snowball fight right after. 

"Take that, Kou!"

"Not fair! I thought you were Jirou!"

"I'm right here! Eat this!"

As I threw a snowball at Endou, I couldn't help but remember some fun times I had with Koujirou and my brother. Haha, I really missed those days...

"There's a lot of food this morning!" Kabeyama exclaimed. Lucky breakfast and lunch were gonna be a full mouth, but for dinner, it was gonna be starving.

"Breakfast is important for fueling your body throughout the whole day." Kino said. "Eat up your fill for breakfast and lunch."

"But don't expect any extra for dinner." Natsumi said.

"And don't forget to chew thirty times!" Otonashi said, holding up the 3 sign.

"Rena, how come you're not eating?" Kazemaru asked. I glanced at my plate, hiding the disgust on my face.

"I don't eat this." I muttered, pushing my tray away. 

"If you don't eat it, Rena. I'm gonna blackmail you." Kuroi smirked at me. I glared at him. 

"You better eat it. Besides, it tastes good!" Gina exclaimed.

"Yeah, even Kidou's eating it." Kenjirou said, glancing at Kidou.

"I eat this at home as well." Kidou said.

"Bleck." I muttered, eating my breakfast in disgust.

After breakfast, all of us had our 10 minute break and we started skiing again down the slopes. Everyone was getting the hang of the speed, and so was Kuroi (he didn't get it the first time). We had gotten faster than last time, and occasionally after skiing, Kuroi or Gina would start a snowball fight. 

Dinner wasn't really good either, however if it was for speed, then it's best to hold in the disgust and just eat it with no complaints. Plus, chewing it thirty times and help remove the taste. (I don't eat that much foods, considering that I don't eat ramen)

After a day, we managed to get the speed right, and we managed to get used to it right after. Man, what a day, and pretty soon Gemini Storm will come right after.

"Rena, your'e making breakfast tomorrow, along with Kenji." Gina said.

"I haven't tasted her food yet, so I'm expecting." Touko said, smiling.

"I guess I can make something other than Katsudon Onigiri. I know how to make Salmon Onigiri." I said. Yes, even if I don't eat Salmon, I can make something with Salmon, which is pretty weird...

"Remember, chew thirty times!" Kuroi exclaimed.

"Yeah, yeah." I said, chuckling.
