The number 17 car pulls into the pit road before coming to its pit stop.
"Jack, you realize you got this in the bag, right?" Buddy Hubbard asks Jack Toretto as he unclips the net on Jack's window before Jack takes the water that Buddy offers him. "Season's wrapped up, man. Doesn't matter where you place."
"I'm telling you, I got intermittent miss," Jack says as he hands the water back to Buddy. "For the last two laps."
"On it!" Buddy says before turning to one of the pit crew members. "Get those plug wires!"
"Jakob! Now," Jack yells at his youngest son, who happens to be the crew member that Buddy was yelling at. Jakob nods before raising the hood of the car as Dominic, Jack's oldest son, rushes over.
"Hey, Pop," Dom says as he leans against the window.
"Tell me what you see Dom," Jack orders as he looks at his son proudly.
"Got an oil spill going into turn two," Dom explains as he begins to list everything that he has seen. "Bell's driving safe. Corbin's got a sponsor in the stands, so he's pushing it. You got a real problem with car 23."
"Linder," Jack says with a nod as he has seen it too. Dom begins to argue with Linder's crew, who are two spaces back. "Hey! Leave it. He's just pissed because I got that spot in the Busch Series next season, not him. Life's got no shortage of guys like Kenny Linder."
"You're good!" Jakob tells him as he closes the hood before patting it.
"It's not about being the stronger man, Dom," Jack advises his son, who is clipping the net back. "It's about being the bigger one." Jack takes off back onto the track. Linder follows behind him before bumping into the back of another car.
"I swear to god, this guy," Dom says as he shakes his head while watching the race. "Pop, turn two, turn two!"
"Got it. I'm walking him in," Jack says as he drives high on the track. Jack quickly drops lower on the track as he sees the oil spill that Dom had mentioned, causing Linder to drive into it which causes him to slightly lose control and bump into the wall. "Tell me what you see, Dom." Dom quickly moves to where he can see the rest of the track.
"He's gonna come at you for that," Dom says as he keeps looking between his dad and Linder. "Get ready on your left." Linder drops to Jack's left while Jack looks down at his dash as it starts to malfunction. Linder bumps into Jack, causing his car to turn before connecting with the wall as it catches fire. The car rolls as it is hit by another car while Dom rips his headset off before running towards the track with Buddy right behind him. Buddy grabs Dom, holding him back from being ran over as he cries and yells for his dad.

"Look, we're in the clear," Stasiak says as he fixes himself a drink of alka-seltzer and Red Bull. "But this thing is a mess. The headlines out there? Secret spy plane crashes in a hostile country? Followed by some kind of covert ops firefight? I'll get you where you need and then I'm gonna need to back off."
"I appreciate the favor," Kassidy says with a small smile as she looks at Stasiak while Dom nods in agreement.
"I got to stop doing so many favors," Stasiak says with a small smirk as he walks away.

"What we doing, Ramsey? Like, where are we going?" Roman questions as he looks up at Ramsey, who is typing on her computer.
"I was able to decrypt the data that came through with Mr. Nobody's SOS, and I found GPS coordinates, definitely included on purpose," Ramsey answers as she looks around at everyone.

"You knew about Jakob?" Letty asks as Dom and Kassidy walk over to them.
"Question: Who is Jakob?" Tej asks as he looks from Letty to Dom while Roman stands up.
"Jakob is..." Letty starts to answer as she stares at Dom, who looks down at the ground when he feels Kassidy's gaze on him. "Or was Dom's brother."
"Oh, my bad," Roman says as he, Kassidy, Tej, and Ramsey look at Dom in shock. "I'm sorry. I'm just processing. Brother? You got a brother? Who also happens to be some kind of super spy with his own private army, who drives literally like a bat out of hell, who preplanned an aerial jump and landed at the bottom of an airplane? Who does that?"
"Who does that?" Tej asks sarcastically as he answers Roman, while Dom looks down once again as he remembers his past. "A Toretto."

"There's a couple of release forms we've got to sign," Buddy explains as he, Dom, and Jakob walk down the stairs to where Jack's stuff and car is. "Few clearances. Everything else is down there around the corner." Dom follows Buddy while Jakob stops to look around before Jakob spots Linder walking over to Jack's car.
"Hey. Nobody's supposed to be around here," Jakob says as he walks over while Linder uncovers the burned car.
"You're Toretto's other son? You're the useless one, right?" Linder questions as he points at Jakob, who grabs a wrench from a nearby tool chest. "What is that?"
"Get out of here. Go," Jakob says as he motions for Linder to leave.
"So a man can't pay his last respects?" Linder asks as he points at the wrench. "That's what that is?"
"No. No, not you. You're the one that killed him," Jakob answers him as he shakes his head.
"No, racing killed him," Linder argues with him. "Look, he knew that I was gonna pit him into the wall. He knew that. Now, I don't know if he dropped gear. I don't know."
"I swear... I swear to God, if you don't get out of here..." Jakob threatens as he walks towards Linder.
"What? What?" Linder challenges him as Dom rushes over before grabbing Jakob's arm.
"Go find Buddy," Dom orders as he takes the wrench from Jakob. "Now!"

"All right, well, now we got the golden boy," Linder says with a chuckle as Jakob walks off before Dom turns to face Linder.
"Leave," Dom tells him, causing Linder to nod his head.
"You here to make threats, too?" Linder asks as he motions to the wrench.
"Leave is a simple word," Dom tells him with a slight shrug.
"Man, what is it with you Torettos where you're all the heroes in your own stories?" Linder asks as he waves his hands around. "Look, I'm gonna tell you a secret. You, your dad, me... we're all stuck, going round and round in the same shitty circle. And we ain't never getting out."
"You ain't half the man my dad was," Dom states as he looks at Linder in disgust.
"At least I'm alive, asshole," Linder retorts, knowing it would anger Dom.
"What did you say?" Dom asks as he squares up to Linder.
"Get off me!" Linder says as he shoves Dom before punching him in the face. Dom swings back with the wrench, knocking Linder to the ground.
"Dom! Dom! Dom!" Buddy yells while rushing over as Dom gets on top of Linder still swinging with the wrench. "Dom, no! Dom! No, man!" Buddy pulls Dom away from Linder as Jakob watches in shock.

The sheriff talks to Buddy while Jakob is in the waiting area before Jakob sees Dom having his fingerprints done. Jakob watches in shock as Dom is placed into a holding cell.

CASPIAN SEA

"Talk about off the grid," Ramsey says as Dom leads the way through a tunnel under the water while she, Tej, and Roman hold flashlights.
"I don't think they had grids when this place was built," Kassidy says as she follows behind Dom.
"If a Ninja Turtle pop out on me, tell you right now, I'm out," Roman says as he follows the group while looking around.
"No way this place was sanctioned by the agency," Tej says as he starts to look around as well. "This was definitely Mr. Nobody's secret hideout." Tej finds a switch that he flips, causing the power to come on in the bunker. "What now, Dom?"
"Whoever Jakob has become and whatever he's up to," Dom answers as he turns to face the team. "It's on me. And me alone."
"Nah," Roman says as he shakes his head. "Whatever's on you, it's on us."
"He's right," Kassidy says with a nod despite being angry with Dom for not telling her about Jakob. "We don't turn our back on our family."
"Let's get to work," Tej says with a nod, causing Dom to look down as a small smile graces his face because he is thankful that his family has his back.

"Pretty impressive out there," Dom says as Kassidy walks out of the armory with a couple of hand guns in her hands while Dom works on a shot gun. "You miss the old life."
"Do you?" Kassidy asks as Dom cocks the shot gun.
"Every day," Dom answers her with a nod, causing Kassidy to smile.
"Were you ever going to tell me?" Kassidy asks as her smile turns into a frown. Dom sighs as he sets the shotgun down, trying to find the right words.

"Guys. We got a little company," Tej says as he walks down the stairs, causing Dom and Kassidy to look at him while Letty and Mia follow him down the stairs. "Think you know this person."
"It's so good to see you," Kassidy says as she pulls Mia into a hug.
"I missed you," Mia says as she hugs her back before pulling back while still holding Kassidy's hands, giving them a squeeze.
"She deserved to know," Letty explains as she notices Dom looking at her before Mia makes her way over to Dom.
"You should've told me," Mia says with a stern look while Dom tries to come to terms with her being there. "Jakob's my brother, too. I need to be here."
"You get involved here, you put everything you have at risk," Dom says as he looks between Mia and Kassidy. "Your kids and the whole world that you built."
"We're all risking something," Mia says as she shakes her head before grabbing Dom by his shoulders so that he will focus on her. "Dom, listen to me. My kids and yours are in the safest hands possible."
"With Brian," Kassidy says with a smile.
"Our world's grown, Dom. I got this one," Mia tells Dom with a confident nod before he pulls her into a hug.
