The Wonderful Good Morning from Athena
Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters or the House of Hades, Rick Riordan does, I did modify its content so I would not be using it word for word. Also I do not own King's Quest, that is the property of Sierra Entertainment (Though I really do recommend the game if you like puzzles) :D.

In the morning, everyone gathered in the common room to start the day with a little light movie watching. The Olympians were trying to work out the Blu-ray once again, after it had been exploded they had to get a new one and another TV but still they had trouble with it because of the four tiny buttons on the top surface, randomly pushing each in a random order might not be the best idea on how to figure out how to open it . . . the again it was Zeus (TLT) idea which would explain.
Standing not to far from them was a band of demigods made up of four of the Seven, Thalia (TLO), and Grover (TLO). As they worked, Leo frowned at the Olympians, "Uh, aren't we going to search for Percy?"
Athena (TLO) turned away from the rest of the Olympians, obviously annoyed with the slow progress of her father, and rolled her eyes, "It's four in the morning, we will go out at six since it should be light enough to see. Until then we will watch another dreadful chapter of this movie . . . well, on second thought: finish the chapter we started and watch the second."
He nodded though a little disappointed, "Fine." Leo turned to Frank and smirked, "It's okay, Frank, you don't have to turn into a dragon until six."
Frank let out a breath of relief, "Oh thank the gods, it's too early to do anything like that."
Hazel laughed and patted his arm, "It will be okay."
He smiled at her and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. Jason stood next them, looking a bit glum which made Hazel tap on his shoulder, "Has Piper forgiven you yet?"
"Haven't seen her since she stormed out." He muttered. "I didn't mean anything by it, I just . . . ugh."
"Why don't you do talk to her?"
"Because I don't want it to turn into a screaming match."
Thalia (TLO) scoffed, "Nothing can beat that fight Percy and Annabeth had last night."
Hazel frowned, "What?"
Grover (TLO) gulped, "Oh yeah, that was scary. I have never seen them fight like that! Blades drawn, charging, trying to tear each other apart and everything!"
The Poseidons and Athenas turned, "What did you say, satyr?" Athena (TLO) growled.
"Uuuuh, I--eh." Grover started to shake and sweat.
The Percys and Annabeths were overhearing the conversation and didn't want to get involved. The fight had scared them as well, though the youngest of them had had their own fight they never expected the eldest of them to have such a fight and that brutal either. The fact that the eldest Percy was going to end it with a killing blow made them all uneasy. But sadly the eldest Poseidon and Athena turned to the group expectantly, "Well?" Athena asked.
Annabeth (BoL) bit her lip, "Well, our older versions had a bit of a . . . fight."
Athena glared at the Percys, "Sea spawns! If you hurt Annabeth in any way I will personally rip out each and every one of your pitiful throats!" She snarled as her other versions shouted in agreement.
"Now hold on a moment, Athena!" Poseidon rounded on her, "You don't even know if it was Percy that started the fight!"
"Knowing you? He was." She snapped.
"Athena, just because he is my son doesn't mean he causes trouble!"
"Well why don't we go ask them?"
"Listen!" Percy (BoL) shouted over the two bickering Olympians. "We don't even know where our older versions are."
The group went silent, Thalia (TLO) rolled her eye and sighed, "I'll go and wake them up."
She walked out of the common room and down the room of bedrooms for their time for the bedrooms were separated by time period. She reached Annabeth's room first, it was alphabetical by last name, and knocked on the door: There was no answer. Thalia frowned and knocked again: Still no answer.
The Olympians, the group of demigods, and now the whole room was watching. Athena (TLO) narrowed her eyes, "Thalia, is she not answering?"
Thalia bit her lip and shook her head. Hermes (TLO) sighed and walked over to her, "Let's see here . . ."
He touched the knob, the door immediately unlocked, and opened the door, "Um, she's not in here."
"Oh really?" Athena frowned and walked over to her daughter's room herself, "Annabeth?"
Silence greeted her call. Athena walked into the room and looked everywhere around the room, anger swelled inside her the more and more she stayed in the empty room, Surely she couldn't be stupid enough to. . .
"Thalia, Hermes, let me knock on Perseus's door." She growled.
Thalia paled, "Uh, are you sure you don't want me t--."
"YES!" Athena looked at Poseidon who seemed to be thinking the same.
"Now, Athena--."
"NO! Do not try to compromise with me, Poseidon!" She marched down the hallway, the entire room watching behind her now.
"Oh gods." Jason groaned, looked at Hazel, Frank, and Leo. They were thinking the same thing he was: Where is Piper when you need her?
Athena reached Percy's door and hammered her fist on the wood, "SEA SPAWN!"
The other Percys were pale, afraid for their older version, this was definitely not a good way to wake up in the morning. Even though Athena was furious, only a handful of people had actually figured out what she was thinking. The four of the Seven, the Chirons, the rest of the Athenas, the Poseidons, and the Aphrodites were the only ones to actually understand why she was furious.
Athena hammered on the door again, "PERSEUS!"
No one answered the door, but she didn't need Hermes to get in. She easily kicked the door open, the wood splitting sounded as though lightning had hit Olympus. What laid on the other side of the door were two terrified teenagers lying on the bed. They looked like they had just woken up for their hair was a mess, though Percy's looked pretty normal, and Annabeth was still holding onto Percy's arm in the same position she had fallen asleep in. Now her nails we digging into his skin, both of them were paralyzed, trying to comprehend that a seething Athena was standing in the doorway. Their clothes were ruffled and though they had just fallen asleep with them on which was the reason for the ruffle, nothing else, it looked like their clothes had been hurriedly put on, Athena noticed this and her nostrils flared.
"Athena!" They heard a Poseidon call from down the hall. "Leave my son be!"
Athena tore her fiery glare away from them and turned her head down the hall, "Shut. Your. MOUTH. Poseidon." She said through her teeth and marched into the room.
She grabbed Percy by the front of his shirt and dragged him from the bed.
"Mother!" Annabeth shouted, "Wait, its not--!"
"WHAT I THINK?" Athena shrieked.
Everyone in the common room finally understood what was going on. The Percys and Annabeths paled and quickly moved away from each other. Many of Athena's children and friends of Annabeth and Percy covered their mouths in surprise that they would do something like this. Aphrodite's children were also surprised and worried about how this would unfold, Silena (BoL) sighed and shook her head in disapproval.
"Oh gods," Thalia (TLO) muttered, covering her eyes, wishing she was anywhere but there.
Athena threw Percy out into the hall, "Oof!" He gasped as he hit the door across from his own.
His heart hammered in his chest as he struggled to get to his feet, part of him couldn't fully comprehend what was happening. Athena trudged toward him and grabbed a handful of his hair, pulling him up and pinned him to the door, "How DARE you!" She snarled in his face as she took out her spear from out of its sheath on her back and held the blade to his neck.
"Mother!" Annabeth scrambled out of Percy's room and tried to rip the spear from her hands but Athena easily knocked her away and onto the floor.
Athena glared down at her, "I will deal with you later."
"But its not--!"
"ENOUGH!"
Poseidon (TLO) started to walk down the hall, "Athena, we don't know what actually happened. Let them speak!"
"I think its pretty obvious what happened, Poseidon. Your spawn seduced my daughter!"
"But mother--!"
"SILENCE ANNABETH!"
"LET ME SPEAK!" Annabeth snarled, getting to her feet.
"Your actions speak louder than your words." Athena snarled. "Now stay out of my way."
Percy grasped the cold bronze shaft of Athena's spear and tried to force the tip away from his neck, she turned toward him, "What do you think you are doing, sea spawn?"
"Percy . . ." Annabeth said wearily.
Slowly, no matter how hard Athena tried to stop it, the spear started to draw away from Percy's neck. Percy starred at her, his anger started to boil over, this goddess wasn't going to falsely accuse him of something he didn't do. But out of the corner of his eye he saw Ares (TLO) smirking. Fear flashed in Athena's eyes, but only for a second, "I'm warning you, Perseus--."
"No, I'm warning you."
"Percy." Annabeth said sharply, "Remember what we talked about?"
"Annabeth--."
"You have a choice, Percy!"
"I'm not going to let her accuse me of something I didn't do!" He glared at Athena, "And I don't intend on letting her win either." Water shot out of the bathroom faucet of Percy's room and came as a jet toward Athena, throwing her sideways.
"UGH!" Athena snarled and thrust her spear at Percy, barely missing him as he dodged out of the way. He took out Riptide from his pocket as he heard protests from behind him. Athena got to her feet and charged, Percy managed to roll out of the way by seconds but something else hit him. Annabeth tackled him to the ground, he was pinned to the floor on his stomach while Annabeth had her knee in the center of his back.
"Percy, you promised." He heard her say above him, her voice sounded slightly hurt and he knew she was right. Her life was what his anger would cost him and no matter how much he tried to resist it, he couldn't loose her. Not his best friend. He sighed and inwardly groaned, this was going to be difficult.
"Thank you, Annabeth." Athena muttered, towering above both of them.
"Mother, please, just let me explain."
"Hear her out, Athena." Poseidon called. "Things aren't always as they seem, as smart as you are I thought you could figure that out. Perhaps your pride is getting in the way of reason."
Athena stared at Annabeth, "Fine."
"Privately." Annabeth added.
"Then lead the way."
Annabeth slowly got up off of Percy and beckoned her mother into Percy's room. Athena walked inside and once Annabeth had followed her she fixed the door she had kicked in so they could not be heard. Percy grudgingly got up and glared down the hall, "What are all you looking at?" He snapped as he walked toward them.
Poseidon (TLO) patted his shoulder once he reached them, "Percy--."
"We didn't do anything." Percy said immediately.
"I believe you, just be happy you aren't the one that is having to convince Athena of that. But if you don't mind me asking, what were you two doing?"
"She needed to talk to me last night after the fight we had, I'm assuming everyone already knows about that." He looked around the room and everyone nodded. "We decided to hang out and get away from all the stress, she was going to get something from the freezer and she ripped open her wound from the battle, she had to patch it but she wouldn't be able to walk to her room because of it. So we got some food, turned on a movie, and accidently fell asleep. That's all, nothing else, nothing more." As he said this out of the corner of his eye he saw Rachel in the corner of the room, discussing something with Grover from the eldest time. It was weird seeing her here for she wasn't a demigod but at least there was no others of her here, it would just be too awkward, but he did wonder why Rachel was here in the first place. Maybe later on she became apart of the camp somehow, but with all that aside whatever she and Grover were discussing it was serious and they kept looking over at him which was unsettling.
Poseidon slowly nodded, "Well, pray that Annabeth can convince her mother that your intentions were tame."
An hour later Percy's door opened, Athena strode out from the room with Annabeth following behind. Neither of them said a word as they walked down the hallway, as they reached the common room all heads turned toward them. Athena glared, "Go about your business, stop staring at us."
"Well, Athena?" Poseidon probed. "What is your decision?"
She turned to Percy, "Your sea spawn was falsely accused, but if I ever catch him alone with my daughter again I will not be so lenient."
Percy did not answer, biting the inside of his lip from coming back with a sarcastic response. Annabeth was eyeing him wearily, her gaze met his and everything started to fade away, his anger faded little by little until he had none. She tore her eyes away from his for they had been staring at each other for a bit too long and they knew that they couldn't do this, not here, not ever really.
Athena cleared her throat and walked over to Zeus (TLO), "Is the movie ready?"
As the Olympians started fiddling once again with the movie, Annabeth walked toward Percy, "Umm, h-how was it out here?"
"Not too bad, but the real question is how was it with your mother?"
Annabeth closed her eyes and sighed, "Gods that was difficult, there was almost nothing I could do to convince her that I was telling the true. I did tell her my suspicious and about my dream though, that at least diverted the conversation."
Percy frowned, "Aren't we going to go after Ares?"
"Right now? Are you insane? No, we have to wait for the proper moment. Things are too unstable right now."
He groaned, "But every second we waste--!"
"If you learn to control that anger of yours then it won't be a waste."
Zeus (TLO) stood in front of the room, clearing his throat, demanding attention, "The mortal TV has been fixed and we are ready to watch. Get comfortable and we will begin."
The demigods and Olympians made themselves comfortable. The Percys and Annabeths still had a space between them except for their The Last Olympian counterparts who sat right beside each other. Those from the last time still were huddling into a little group, Piper had shown up within the hour Annabeth and her mother were talking. She was still angry with Jason but not as much, she was able to sit next to him but that was about it. Percy couldn't help feel back for him knowing it was difficult.
Athena (TLO) hit the play button and the screen flickered to life right where they had left off. Leo, Hazel, and Nico were on the Argo II discussing how to get out of Rome.
The trio stared at each other, wearing the same grim expression as they were thinking the same thing. Nico scowled at the Italian countryside below them, "Maybe we should wake the others. This decision affects us all."
"I am so glad you didn't." Jason groaned, Frank and Piper nodded in agreement.
"No," Hazel said firmly. "We can find a solution."
Sorrow and hopelessness entered the eyes of the young demigod, but there was a small hint of determination like she had something to prove.
"We need some creative thinking," she sighed. "Another way to cross those mountains, or a way to hide ourselves from the numina."
Nico sighed in frustration. "If I was on my own, I could shadow-travel. But that won't work for an entire ship. And, honestly, I'm not sure I have the strength to even transport myself any more."
"I could maybe rig some kind of camouflage," Leo muttered unenthusiastically, "like a smokescreen to hide us in the clouds."
Annabeth (TLO) frowned. "That wouldn't have worked, they still would have sensed you."
Hazel nodded, "But it was the only idea we had at the time."
Hazel stared down at the rolling farmland, deep in thought, then closed her eyes and muttered a silent prayer. When she opened her eyes she frowned, gazing at something off screen, but she frown formed into a soft smile, "Arion."
"Who?" Silena (BoL) asked for she loved horses and all their species and mythology.
Hazel smiled, "Just wait." She said quickly as she saw the Annabeths each about to tell Silena who Arion was.
The Annabeths frowned in disappointment because they loved sharing mythology with others. Percy (TLO) leaned over to the Annabeth from his time, "Not everyone is as smart as you." He whispered teasingly.
Annabeth shoved him away with a small smile.
"What?" Nico asked.
Leo let out a happy whoop, staring off screen as well, "It's her horse, man! You missed that whole part. We haven't seen him since Kansas!"
"Why in the world were you guys in Kansas? Of all places?" Annabeth (SoM) asked.
"It's a long, long story." Jason rubbed the back of his neck with a sheepish smile.
Hazel laughed awkwardly like she hadn't in awhile. About a mile to the north, the small beige dot circled a hill and stopped at the summit. He was difficult to make out, but when the horse reared and whinnied the sound carried all the way to the Argo II.
"We have to meet him," she said. "He's here to help."
"Yeah, okay." Leo scratched his head. "But, uh, we talked about not landing the ship on the ground any more, remember? You know, with Gaea wanting to destroy us and all."
"Just get me close, and I'll use the rope ladder." Hazel replied. "I think Arion wants to tell me something."
The scene went black before returning back to the chapter selection, Zeus (TLO) sighed, "Alright, it is six so its about time for us to search for Mr. Jackson, we will watch the second tomorrow morning since an hour of our time was eaten up by a little incident. Instead of all of us going out there I have decided to send out an expedition and if need be we will switch out groups every now and then depending how long it takes for us to find him. The first expedition will contain Jason, Piper, Leo, Hazel, and Frank (As they requested); Thalia, Grover, and Rachel from the eldest time; Percy, Annabeth, Grover, and Thalia from the fifth year; Silena and Beckendorf from the fourth year; Percy, Annabeth, Grover, and Clarisse from the first year."
There were protests of those who had not been chosen for they wanted to go on the expedition themselves and from Clarisse who had been chosen and did not want to search for Percy especially with two Percys.
"SILENCE!" Zeus thundered. "Those who have been chosen will go and those who have not will stay. Understood?"
Everyone muttered hesitantly in agreement and those who were going out into Manhattan walked to their rooms to gather what they would need. It wasn't too long that they all gathered in the Throne Room, every one of them had a pack on their back with everything they might need on an expedition. Leo came running into the room screaming, "I BROUGHT THE ADVENTURING ROPE!"
"THIS ISN'T KING'S QUEST, LEO!" Piper yelled back.
"IT COULD BE!"
Jason chuckled as Piper groaned and rubbed her temples, "This is going to be a long expedition." She muttered.
"Hey, it won't be so bad." Jason smiled and hesitantly wrapped his arm around her shoulders. To his surprise she smiled softly and hugged him.
"Maybe it won't, Sparky."
Hazel smirked at Jason as if saying: I told you so.
Jason rolled his eyes but still had a smile on his lips, relaxing for the first time since they had fought. Piper looked up at him and ran her hand fondly through his hair, "I'm sorry about the fight."
"It's alright, lets just forget it, sound good?"
She smiled and nodded before turning to Thalia (HoH), "When do you think we should leave?"
Thalia bit her lip and looked around at the expedition, "We are still missing one or two, we will leave once they get here."
The demigods from The Last Olympian were huddled in a small group just a far off from everyone else. They were worried about what they would found out in the unlevelled Manhattan, knowing Percy from the eldest time was out there full of grief and anger caused them unease. The fact that he was so twisted from his journey in Tartarus there was no telling what he would do, especially if he was cornered.
"You know, I'm sure Annabeth is flattered by how much your older counterpart is going insane over her death but why, no offence, is he making almost a theatrical production out of it?" Thalia huffed. "Like yeah it's horrible Annabeth died but I would think that you would know that she would want you to move on. I get it, she is your best friend but even then."
Percy bit his lip, "I dunno, maybe something happened we just don't know about. I mean it was my fault and it was in Tartarus . . ."
"And Thalia, we don't know how long it's been since my death." Annabeth added, but frowned. "Gods it's weird saying that."
"His insanity is putting us all in danger."
"You know, he would be really interesting to talk to. Just how he is right now and with everything going on?" Grover butted in. "I just hope he is okay and his mom too! I miss Sally and her blue cookies."
"Does anyone have an update on my mom from this time in particular?" Percy asked.
Thalia shook her head, "Apollo is still patching her up, taking a lot longer because she is mortal."
"HEY!" They heard Thalia (HoH) shout. "We are about to head out! Double check your belongings to make sure you didn't miss anything. Ambrosia, Nectar, water, snacks and or actual food that you somehow magically could fit in your backpack in ways I do not know about, your weapons because it would be absolute stupidity and suicide if you forgot it, sleeping bags incase we can't make it back to Olympus before nightfall, pillows and blankets to keep your sorry butts warm and comfy at night, tools of any kind--make sure you have everything you need to survive--like flashlights just in case you and or we have to go into a dark area, your radio that has been passed out to you so you can stay in contact with us incase we decide to split up or if you somehow get separated from the group, make sure you bring diapers so when you decide to wet yourself out of fear no one will notice, and anything else you have decided to take. This is your five minute warning until we leave!"
Immediately everyone took off their packs and started taking everything out and making sure they had everything. A few had to go back to their rooms and get more supplies, Silena had to go Piper to find a weapon for her to use and Beckendorf had forgotten some of his tools. All in all it took about five minutes to get everything situated and figured out. Thalia (HoH) looked at them all once again, "Is everyone ready to set off, is everyone sure they have everything that they need because as soon as we get out there, there is no coming back for anything. Understood?"
The group nodded but a few people did one last search to make sure they had everything. After a minute or two all eyes were on Thalia. She turned to Jason and beckoned him over, he walked over to Thalia and stood beside her as she leaned over and whispered something to him. He nodded and started to walk back to the common room, Piper frowned and gave him a questioning look as he passed but he just smiled and mouthed: I'll be back in a minute.
Thalia watched him for a moment before turning to the expedition and nodded, "Then let's head out."

Hey guys! Please R&R I hope you liked the chapter though it is a little poorly written (Sorry), but hopefully you like it anyway! I will probably go back and catch some of the mistakes later when I have time.
