Lucy's POV

~Timeskip~ a week later

  The stage play was a complete success and guess what? NaLu Moments Fanpage gained over more than 100 new followers. Great! Just great! More eyes to watch us. Sheesh, what can a girl do to have peace?

  "Class, Literature week was a complete success. Congratulations. Especially to the main characters, Lucy and Natsu. You both did great!" Sir Gildarts said in a rather excited tone. He wasn't his lazy self, yelling and grining like a Cheshire cat and all. Well, he's like that because Master Makarov, Fairy Tail High's principal, gave him extra bonus because our performance was the greatest of all. Apparently, the master liked us. I thought while mentally sweat dropping.

  With a sigh, i shook my head and looked out of the window. No point on listening to him anymore. It's not like he's going to teach anything. Not when he's celebrating infront of the class like a drunkard who has been partying all night.

  "Well, since it's already the middle of February, as tradition, our school will organize a JS Prom." Sir Gildarts said happily which practically caught everyone's attention. Even mine. Wait, what? Where did this came from? Without any warning, the whole class erupted with cheers and whispers.

  "Shh, quiet down kiddo's. All of you should get your dresses and tuxedos ready cause Prom will be held next week." Sir Gildarts said trying to calm down the over excited students. Though, he's not doing a great job.

    "You should all ask your crushes out before someone else does. Well, as a simple Prom gift, we will not have lessons today. So grab the chance and ask your date out." Sir Gildarts said while dashing out the room, attempting to escape the enthusiastic teenagers. He succeeded by the way. Tch. If i know, he's just to lazy to discuss.

  The whole class started to get noisy. Some boys and girls already stood up from their seats and went to their supposedly date to ask them out. Cheers, Squeals, Squeaks, Laughter and Wolf whistle was heard all over the room but later on it was quiet down by the class president, Erza. Oh, heavens. Thank you. I was starting to get annoyed by the noise anyways.

  "Hey Lu-chan, who are you planning to go with for the JS Prom?" I heard Levy-chan asked as she approached me. She pulled out a chair and positioned it infront of my desk before sitting down.

  "I don't know." Shrugging, i started doddling on my notebook, not really finding our conversation interesting. Don't get me wrong, i love Levy. It's just, i'm not really that hyped about Prom. I just don't see the point of it. I mean, we'll get to dress up, stay up late, dance and then what?

  "Wait, what do you mean you don't know?! Aren't you going with Natsu?" Levy-chan pushed on which made me stop drawing. I haven't really thought of it. But going to Prom with Natsu?

  "I'm still not sure." Laughing nervously, i waved a hand infront of me in attempt to stop raising anymore questions. 'That is if he wants to go with me.' i thought bitterly. Wait.. What ambi thinking? I started to space out for a moment, but a white haired girl caught my attention. She was approaching a certain pink haired boy. I leaned sideward to hear their conversation.

  "Hey, Natsu." Lisanna said shyly. She wasn't looking at him in the eye, instead she seems to be playing with her feet. She was kinda fidgeting and nervous?

  "Umm, Hey Lisanna. What's up?" Natsu said rather awkwardly. 'That's the best thing he can say?' I taunted on my head, rolling my eyes. But just seeing them together makes my heart break. But i need to stay strong. I need to help them be together for that is my main purpose even though it hurts. For Natsu's happiness!

  "Natsu, if it's okay, can you be my Prom date?" Lisanna asked rather loudly which caused the whole room to be silent and watch the scene. Some gave her weird looks.

  "H-Huh? Why?" Natsu asked, shocked. His eyes widened as i saw him take a small step backward, clearly taken back by her question.

  "I-I don't have anyone to come with and i wanted to spend time with you since your my bestfriend." She tried to reason out but i know it was a lie. Natsu looked at her for a moment then his gaze shifted to me as if asking for permission. Other people on the room followed his gaze. So apparently, all eyes were on me now. This made me conscious and uncomfortable but i knew i had to answer. I wanted to shook my head but i can't do that. So instead, i nodded slowly and gave a heartfelt smile.

  "WHAT?!" Shouted everyone in the room. Even Natsu looked at me, surprised and in disbelief.

  "H-Huh?" Confused, i raised an eyebrow at them.

  "Lucy, Natsu's your boyfriend. So why are you letting just any girl be his prom date? It should be you, Lucy!" Said a confused Loke, who received series of agreement.

  "Lisanna isn't just any girl. She is Natsu's bestfriend. And i trust not just Natsu but also Lisanna." I said with a smile. Lisanna looked at me like she was about to cry while Natsu was looking away. Unconsciously, my eyes landed on his hands. He's clenching his fist. Huh? What's with him? I'm helping him with Lisanna so why does he look mad?

  Another story update for this day. Fairy Tail High has many activities in hand, do they? i wish i study there as well... sigh
