Natsu's POV

~Earlier~

  It's already 6:25 in the evening and my mind was still on Lucy. Somehow, i'm worrying about that weirdo. Did she arrived home safely tonight? Is she safe? What is she doing right now?

  Wait....

  Why am i even concerned?! Aish.. i should get to the bottom of this feelings soon. I'm so confused!

  Groaning, I grabbed my phone and dialed the number of the Heartfilia Residence. Asking why i didn't dialed her phone instead, i'm actually planning on teasing her. This way, i don't have to worry about asking her herself if she's home or not.

  *Ring Ring Ring*

  "Hello? Heartfilia Residence. " said a low voice, probably from Luke.

  "Hey, Luke. It's me, Natsu. I just wanted to ask if Lucy's home?"

  "Oh hey, Natsu. And no, she isn't home yet. Why did you ask?"

  "Oh nothing. Sorry for disturbing! Bye." I said before hanging up. A sense of nervousness filled my system as i wondered the whereabouts of Lucy. Does that mean she's not home yet? Then where is she? Did something happen to her?

  Without any second thought, i dashed out of my room and ran outside.

  I ran and ran, not knowing where to look, my mind was set off to find her. My legs were already aching by the time i reached the park. Then and there, i heard Lucy's voice and it made my blood boil. Her voice sounded so alarmed, and scared.

  "No! Let me go! Perverts!" I quickly followed the direction of Lucy's voice. I found her pinned on a wall by a drunked man. Seeing Lucy's terrified face, anger took over me. 'How dare them do that to MY Lucy!' I thought angrily.

  I fought the drunked mans until they were all knocked out. Finally finished with them, i approached Lucy, grabbed her wrist then ran away.

  We ran until we reached her mansion which wasn't far.

  "Thank you, Natsu." She said sweetly.

  "No problem. Just be careful next time." I said with a smile, rubbing the back of my neck.

  "I will." She said with a smile. That smile. I don't know why but i'm dying to see that angelic smile of her's. It's somewhat different than Lisanna's. Of course i like Lisanna but why do i have a feeling that i'm more happier with Lucy? I want to hug her and kiss her, but that's not right. I like Lisanna. But is it possible that i'm INLOVE with Lucy?

  I was about to leave but Lucy stopped me by grabbing my wrist.

  "Natsu, do you want to come in? I'll try to heal that wound of yours." She said pointing the bruise on my cheek.

  "Don't worry about me." I said, trying to brush her worries off.

  "No, you got hurt for protecting me. I just want to return the favor. Stay for dinner as well." She offered. She gave me those irresistible puppy eyes. And i just can't say no.

  "Fine." I said, sighing in defeat. She gave me another smile. She let me in and we went to the enormous living room

  "Luke, Dad i'm home. And Natsu's staying for dinner." Lucy yelled. A blond haired man around his late 30's entered the living room.

  "Welcome home, Lucy. And Natsu, feel yourself at home. I'm Jude Heartfilia by the way, Lucy's father." He said.

  "Nice meeting you sir, i'm Natsu Dragneel." I said. We shook hands.

  "Oh hey, Natsu. What's with the bruise?" Luke said coming in.

  "He got bruised protecting me from a group of drunked men." Lucy said. Lucy's dad and Luke was shocked. But smiled in the end.

   "Thank you for protecting my daughter." Lucy's dad said with a smile.

  "Don't mention it." I said with a grin.

  "And if it isn't to much of a bother, i leave my daughter's safety to you." Lucy's dad said.

  "You can count on me." I said with a smile.

  "And by the way, call me dad. I have a feeling that you and Lucy will end up together." Lucy's da-I mean Dad said.

  "Sure, Dad." I said giving him a thumbs up.

  "I'm here you know!" Said an annoyed Lucy. She looks so cute when she's mad.

  "Stop it Dad, let's just leave this two lovebirds alone." Luke suggested.

  "Ok. I'll leave you to here. I'll have the maids call you for dinner." Dad said. They exited the living room. A maid then entered and handed Lucy a first aid kit. I heard Lucy sighed.

  "Sorry about that." Lucy apologized. We sat on the long couch and she started to heal my bruise.

  "No need. Your family is really interesting." I said.

  "But still." She said.

  "Lucy, don't worry. Its fine. To tell you the truth, i can't wait to be apart of your family." I joked. She put the cotton with alcohol on my bruise really hard causing me to flinch.
