The End
Lala was pacing in the room, calling Rajveer from his phone. Rajveer picked up.
"Surajkund lake se 500 meters west, ek purana cabin hai waha. 1 ghante me milo. Saare documents le aao."
Lala cut the call. Telling him the spot last minute would make sure, Rajveer din't have any chance to know the surrounding or keep anyone for backup. Who does Rajveer have anyway ? thought Lala.
"Sir, aap kya kar rahe hai mujhe kuch nahi samajh aaraha " said Nair.
" Minister saab ko Rajveer se mila raha hoon, kyunki mera dil bohot bada hai aur mein Rajveer pe bharosa karta hu. Rajveer uske saboot pesh karega aur minister saab kahenge ki woh kaafi nahi. Rajveer ghusse mein minister saab ko mar dega aur humein bhi maarna chahega. Mein self defence mein Rajveer ko shoot kardunga...and then .." said Lala, twirling his phone in hs hands.
" Aap national Hero ban jayenge " completed Major Nair. " Iss scandal se aapko itni publicity milegi ki aane wale elections mein jeet pakki."

All of the cadets wore their army uniforms and got ready for the mission. Rajveer tucked his gun in his sock and and came forward. Abhimanyu looked up. All of them formed a circle.
"Guys". said Rajveer " Aaj humari zindagi badalne wali hai. Aaj ya hum ek traitor ko uski kiye ki saza denge ya koshish karte karte mar jayenge. Lekin jab tak saasein baaki hai.....ladte raho..."
"YES SIR"
All of them started off. None of them had fear in their eyes or hearts. Just faith , faith on themselves, their truth and their mentor.
It's true what they say. God gives the hardest battles to his strongest soldiers.

The cabin was surrounded by armed guards. All of them were Lala's men. He din't use any army or defence personnel. The defence minister and Lala were sitting inside the cabin.
"I have a bad feeling about this Lala Sahab, aapke kehne pe mein aa toh gaya lekin iss tarah ek murderer se milna...it's ..."
"Fikar mat kijiye mantriji, woh akela aayega, and I will make sure he has no ammunition. Aur phir meri poori security toh hai na yaha pe...Rajveer mere bete jaisa hai...agar woh keh raha hai ki uske paas saboot hai, toh use ek mauka to milna chahiye apni baat kehne ki. "
He heard a jeep halt outside. Lala went out to see Rajveer getting out of his jeep.
"Raj... minister sahab andar hai...but thode tensed hai...mein tumhe apne bharose mila raha hu...so be very careful" said Lala. One of the guards came to pat down Rajveer to check for any items.
"Ministerji ke bodyguards" said Lala in answer to the look Rajveer gave him.
Rajveer took out a bunch of papers from his jacket and his gun. The gun was taken away.
Lala came a little closer to Rajveer. "Ministerji wants proof that you really have the documents." said Lala.
Rajveer took out one of the pages, that they had recreated from his memory and showed it to Lala. Dammm, thought Lala. Rajveer isn't bluffing. He really has the Red box contents.
Lala gave him the paper back and motioned him into the cabin.
Outside, the cadets, Abhimanyu and Shalini watched with their binoculars. As soon as the cabin door locked, Abhimanyu gave the signal to the cadets. They slowly started edging towards the cabin.
Inside the cabin, Lala watched with tension as Rajveer and the minister spoke. Rajveer handed over the papers to the minister.
The minister looked at the paper, and with a bewildered look said " Lalmani Shankar ??"
That was the cue for Lala. He immediately pulled out a gun from his pocket. The same one Rajveer had submitted to the guard. Lala was holding it a handkerchief, so that Rajveer's prints will be on them.
Both Rajveer and the minister looked up in shock. Lala understood that the minister made the connection about him. Only a few people in the ministry knew the his old name. Obviously Rajveer had not made the connection, thought Lala. He was very young when he had that name.
"Lala Saheb, aap ye kya kar rahe hai ?" said the minister.
"Chupp " said Lala " ab tak to tujhe samajh mein aagaya hoga ki mein kya karne ki capacity rakhta hu. Toh chilla ke apna waqt barbaad mat karo...
"Nai." said Lala pointing the gun at Rajveer, as Rajveer made a move.
"Sochna bhi mat....bahar sab mere log khade hue hai...2 second mein tumhari body mein itni goliyaan utarene ki pata bhi nai chalega kab jaan chali gayi...."
"Toh aap hi hai..." said Rajveer, eyes blazing. "..the mastermind. Aap kar rahe the iss desh ko bechne ki koshish.."
"Haan....Aur mujhe koi nahi rokega...jab tumhara us dost ..Naveen ne rokne ki koshish ki thi, toh dekha na kya hua...arre...mein tumhe phasane se peeche nahi hata...toh koi aur kya hai mere liye....Meine kaha tha tumse, ki dur hato in sab se...lekin nai...tum humein barbaad karne nikle ? ab ladh na apni ladai..zameen ke andar se... kyunki aaj tumhara iss dharti pe aakri din hai.." said Lala.
"Thank You Lala Saheb..." said Rajveer smiling. " Iss waqt pura desh ne aapki sachai suni..."
Rajveer pointed with his eyes to his shirt button. Lala looked closely. It was a camera. How was that possible ? They had checked him with metal detectors ?
" Having a prince as one of your best friends, does have it's perks, doesn't it ?" said Rajveer.
Lala understood he was trapped. Rage came over him to see his plan being foiled.
He aimed at Rajveer once more ad pressed the trigger. Rajveer expertly, ducked, got the minister out of the way, while picking up a table and knocking the gun out of his hand.
"Guards" yelled Lala. The place was surrounded by his men , thought Lala. There was no way, Rajveer or the minister was going out alive. He might have lost his political career , but he would still take his revenge.
The door burst open, and the sight was not what Lala wanted to see. All his guards lay beaten, injured, or tied up. The six cadets stood eyes full of anger, staring at him. Abhimanyu had a gun aimed at his head. There was no escape. It was the end.
As Abhimanyu pulled him up from the ground and arrested him , Lala's eyes fell on the piece of paper, that was given to the minister. The name " Lalmani Shankar" was handwritten on it.
Screaming in frustration , he tried to wriggle out, before being forcefully put into the jeep. Raj gave him one look before he turned towards his cadets. Naina was at a little distance from him.
Rajveer wanted to go closer, share this moment of victory. He wanted to tell her that her brother will get justice now and she can smile again. Naina looked up from tending Yudi's wound and looked towards him. The look on her face was making Rajveer hope for a new life.
Naina's expression suddenly changed. She lunged forward pushing Rajveer out of the way.
"Ahhhh" screamed Naina, as the bullet hit her stomach. Rajveer turned to catch her, while the rest looked up in shock. Nair was holding the gun, standing on top of a small hill.
Nair saw what he did, lowered his gun and tried to run away. Abhimanyu ran behind him.
Rajveer slumped to the ground, holding Naina in his arms. Shalini was calling for an ambulance.
"Nainaaa..." screamed Rajveer . His eyes were welling up. His heart was breaking. He felt life leaving his body.
"Sirr..." said Naina with bloody eyes, which were closing fast.
Blood was gushing out of her and her hand was clutching the shot.
"Naina...aakhen kholo Naina...tumhein kuch nahi hoga..." said Rajveer tears flowing out of his eyes.
Naina was closing her eyes and fell unconscious.
"Please Naina ...mujhe c..chod ke mat jao..mein mar jaunga tumhare bagair....Bohot pyaar karta hu tumse.....I love youuu..."
The cadets watched the gut wrenching scene before their eyes, helpless. Rajveer was hugging Naina's unconscious body crying his heart out, yelling how much he loves her.
Was this the end ? they thought.
