Shivaay immediately rushed towards the swimming pool area. He sighed in relief when he saw Anika sitting on the chair.

He rushed towards her and stood beside her while panting for air.

Anika looked at him and then averted her gaze and looked at the pool water.

Shivaay slowly sat beside her and both looked at the calm water silently.

The silence was broken by Shivaay.

S- I'm sorry for everything I did to you.

A- What did you do to me?

Anika asked him calmly without looking at him. Shivaay looked at her in guilt.

S- I... I... Was un.... Unfair to you. I was blinded by my rage. Please forgive me. From the day i met you, I've been rude to you. I hurt you and I'm so sorry for that. Please forgive me, Anika.

A- Do you really want me to forgive you?

Anika Asked him with a stern face and Shivaay nodded his head.

S- Yes. Please forgive me.

A- If you want me to forgive you then tell me the whole truth. I want to know Everything. Start from telling me that are we really married?

Anika asked and Shivaay shook his head in negative. A lone tear escaped from her eyes and she nodded her head while Gulping the lump in her throat.

Shivaay then narrated the whole story to her. Anika was sobbing by now.

A- is this baby not mine? Please Shivaay, say that it's not true. Tell me this is my baby.

Anika said while crying hysterically and Shivaay wrapped his arm around her and she cried on his chest. Shivaay's eyes also filled with tears after seeing her breaking down in front of him.

A- You'll take away the baby from me, right as it's your sister's baby. I won't be able to see the baby again, right.

Anika said while crying hysterically.

S- I'm not taking away this baby from you, Anika. I know the pain of getting separated from a mother and trust me, I won't do this sin. You'll be carrying this baby for 9 months and your souls are connected together. How can I separate two souls from each other?

Anika looked at him with teary eyes.

A- You won't?

Shivaay shook his head in negative.

A- then can I leave with my baby? There's no point of living together.

Anika asked him and Shivaay's eyes hardened.

S- No. You can't leave with the baby. If you want to stay with the baby after birth then you have to stay here. I have equal rights on this baby like you.

Anika looked at him with teary eyes.

A- But how can I live with you? You don't even know me and I don't know you. We're strangers.

S- I don't know anything. This baby is the part of my sister, Mallika and I won't let you take him/her away from me. I won't allow that. If you want I'll give you equal custody of the baby. I'll be the father and you'll be the mother of this baby.

Anika nodded her head with teary eyes.

A- But you don't even love me. What if you fall in love with someone else? How will you explain that to the baby? He'll be always heartbroken after seeing his/her parents, fulfilling all their duties as parents but they're not together like normal parents. How will we answer his/her questions when he/she will ask us about our relationship?

Anika said seriously, worried about the baby's future. Shivaay thought about Anika's words and he knew that she was right. He had a broken childhood but this baby won't suffer.

S- we'll be the parents of this baby, like every other normal parents, even if I have to marry you. This child will get a happy life like every other child.

Shivaay said sternly and Anika looked at him in shock.

A- What? But how.... How can.... We... Marry?

S- Why? Are you already married?

Anika looked at him in Confusion as she doesn't remember her past so she just shrugged her shoulder and Shivaay rolled his eyes.

S- Don't worry. You're not. I did a background check on you.

Anika sighed in relief and Shivaay controlled his smile.

S- Get ready. We'll be getting married tomorrow.

Suddenly Anika clutched her baby bump and gasped in surprise.

Shivaay looked at her worriedly.

S- Are you alright? Is the baby fine?

Anika smiled widely.

A- The baby moved.

Shivaay looked at her in shock.

S- What?

Anika held his hand and was about to keep it on her baby bump when she stopped abruptly after remembering the first time she did that and got scolded by Shivaay. She left his hand immediately.

Shivaay looked at her in Confusion and then the realisation dawned upon him. He smiled sadly and looked at Anika who was also looking sad. He slowly kept his palm on the baby bump and Anika looked at him in surprise. Suddenly she gasped again when she felt the baby moving.

A- I guess the baby is happy today.

S- Hmm.. Do you feel this often?

Anika shook her head in negative.

A- No this is the first time when the baby did some activity.

Shivaay smiled and nodded his head.

They were sitting in silence for a while when Anika broke the silence.

A- Shivaay, are you sure you want to do this? You can easily find some girl from rich and good family to marry you, to be your wife.

Shivaay nodded his head.

S- you're right. I can easily find a girl to be my wife but I can't find the mother of my child. Trust me, I won't regret this.

Shivaay said and Anika looked at him in surprise.

They sat in silence observing the calm water.
