Next morning, Anika woke up and looked at the clock. It was 8:30 am. She slowly stepped down from the bed and went to freshen up.

She dressed up in a cream coloured long dress.

She slowly headed downstairs. She searched for Shivaay but didn't find him. She held her belly protectively while descending the stairs carefully. She reached kitchen and saw Madhulika cooking breakfast.

Madhulika looked at Anika with a wide smile.

T- Good Morning, Anika. Why did you come downstairs? You should have called me through intercom.

A- Good morning, Taai. I'm fine.

Madhulika took her to dining area and grabbed a chair for Anika and made her sit.

T- Okay. Do you want breakfast?

Anika nodded her head and Taai served scrambled eggs with baby tomatoes and avocado and orange juice to Anika.

T- I hope you like scrambled eggs. It's good for baby.

Anika nodded her head and took the plate from her.

Taai also sat on the chair on the side as Anika started eating breakfast.

A- Taai, where is Shivaay? I didn't see him in his room.

Taai's smile faded and she looked at Anika sympathetically.

T- he left for office early in the morning.

Anika nodded her head.

A- Taai, would you mind if I ask you something?

Taai held Anika's hand and smiled.

T- Of course. You can ask me anything. I'm here for you.

Anika smiled.

A- is something wrong in my marriage? Doesn't Shivaay love me? Did he marry me unwillingly? Did I do something wrong to make my marriage like this? Why is he behaving like I don't matter? I'm getting hurt with his behaviour. I don't remember What's wrong so Maybe if I know the reason, it'll stop hurting.

Anika said with a broken voice as some tears escaped from her eyes. Taai also felt bad for Anika.

She stood up and wrapped her arms around Anika and Anika cried while hugging Taai.

Taai caressed Anika's head as she controlled her own tears from escaping.

T( thinks)- What are you doing, Shivaay? This girl already looks so broken. How much more you want to break her?

After sometime, Anika stopped crying and Taai broke the hug. She cupped Anika's cheeks and wiped her tears.

T- Now listen to me. There's nothing wrong with your marriage. You're nowhere at fault. And Shivaay is just going through a rough patch. He lost someone very precious to him. He just needs some time.

Anika looked at Taai with teary eyes.

A- Who are you talking about?

T- It's not my place to tell. I'm sure Shivaay will tell you when the right time comes and don't take stress, okay. It's not good for you or the baby.

Anika nodded her head and sighed.

A- I'm sorry. I didn't mean to break down like this.

T- it's alright. It's okay to let your feelings out.

Anika nodded her head.

A- umm.. I'll go to my room and rest for sometime. I'm not feeling so great.

Taai immediately nodded her head.

T- Come. I'll take you to your room.

Anika nodded her head and held Anika's hand and took her to her bedroom. Anika lied down on the bed and Taai covered her with blanket.

T- Have some sleep. You'll feel better.

Anika nodded her head and drifted into sleep.

Taai also left the room after switching off the lights in Anika's bedroom.

It was 9 in the night when Anika woke up from her sleep.

A- Oh No! How did I slept for so long?

She went to the washroom and washed her face.

She then headed downstairs and at the same time, Shivaay entered the Mansion.

A bright smile covered her lips and she walked towards him.

Shivaay looked at her and then ignored her presence.

A- Shivaay, how was your day?

S- Good until I reached home.

Shivaay said with a stern face and Anika's face fell.

At the same time, Madhulika walked towards them.

T- Anika, did you slept well?

Anika nodded her head.

T- Good. Will you see if the servant is arranging the dining table correctly? I've to talk to Shivaay.

A- okay.

Anika went to the dining area while Taai glared at Shivaay.

T- Come. I've to talk to you.

Shivaay sighed tiredly.

S- Taai, not now. I'm already very tired.

T- But I want to talk now so it is NOW.

Shivaay sighed in defeat and nodded his head. They went to his bedroom.

S- Tell me. Did that girl create any nuisance?

T- You know that she's not at fault here. It's you. You're at fault here. That girl is getting hurt with your behaviour and you have to make that right. She doesn't deserve this.

Shivaay stood up and glared at Taai.

S- Seriously, Taai? After everything I had told you, you're supporting her. She's the reason Mallika is not with us.

T- I'm supporting her because I don't think that girl is not fault. Don't forget, Mallika committed suicide, she wasn't murdered. She killed herself, Shivaay. And we don't know why she did that? If she knew about Abhay's affair then why didn't she tell you or why didn't she took this step earlier. If you think that she got know about this on accident day, then the hospital must have called her immediately after accident so there's no chance that they would've told her about Anika's pregnancy or anything that might raise doubt in her mind. So think straight before you punish a innocent soul.

S- But she is pregnant with Abhay's baby?

T- even if Anika is at fault, she doesn't remember anything. You can't punish a person who doesn't even know her crime. She's getting hurt in your revenge and it's affecting her and her baby's health.

Taai said with a stern face and Shivaay was fuming in anger.

S- So what do you want me to do? Marry her for real and grow the baby together?

T- if that's required. You brought her here by saying that you're her husband so now you'll take her responsibility. Behave like a perfect husband and take care of her till the time she remembers everything.

Taai said and Shivaay was shocked with her words.

S- And why do you think I'll do that?

Shivaay asked her with a smirk.

T- If you don't do this then I promise, I'll leave this house and will never show you my face again because I can't live in a house where innocent people are tortured. Choose between your revenge and me. Choice is all yours. You have a whole night to think. Tell me your decision in the morning.

Taai said and was about to go when she stopped .

T- Don't worry, I'll send your dinner upstairs.

Taai said and left the room. Shivaay was fuming in anger.

He took the vase and threw it on the floor, breaking it into multiple pieces.
