Next day, doctor discharged Anika and a nurse was alloted to accompany Anika. She helped Anika to get dressed in a off white top and a rust coloured pleated long skirt.

Anika was sitting on the bed waiting for Shivaay to come and take her home. She looked at the nurse who was giving her a pity look. Anika smiled sadly.

A- Ummm.. can you ask the doctor to call my husband? Maybe he's busy and forgot about it.

The nurse nodded her head and left the room.

A- Where are you, Shivaay?

Her eyes got filled with tears and she cleared her throat to stop herself from crying.

After a while, the nurse came back with a man dressed in a white suit uniform. He looked like a driver.

D- Ma'am, Shivaay sir sent me to pick you up.

Anika nodded her head and stood up. The nurse took her bag and followed Anika. Anika settled down in the car and the nurse settled down beside her.

Anika smiled at the nurse.

A- I'm sorry, I never asked your name.

The nurse smiled at her.

N- It's Geeta.

A- Nice name. I'm Anika.

Anika smiled and they talked for a while. Soon the car was parked in the driveway of a huge mansion.

Anika was stunned to see the mansion.

A (thinks)- Is this really where I live? It's huge. How do I even manage this house?

Anika thought in surprise.

The driver helped Anika to get out of the car and the nurse helped her to walk as Anika's hand was fractured and she didn't have the strength to walk on her own. The doctor insisted Anika to take wheelchair but Anika denied by saying that she feels too helpless while sitting in a wheelchair.

Anika and Geeta made their way inside the mansion and they were shocked when they heard the loud music as if some party was going on.

She turned to look at the driver.

A- Sir, are you sure we are at the right place?

The driver bowed his head in shame and nodded.

Anika thanked him and made her way inside the house.

As soon as she opened the door, she was welcomed with loud music, people cheering and stench of alcohol and cigarettes.

She immediately covered her nose.

She looked around and saw many people dancing, some smoking and some drinking heavily.

Anika was feeling too restless in the environment. She started breathing heavily. She looked around for Shivaay but couldn't find him.

Geeta got worried and started rubbing Anika's hand.

G- Ma'am, are you okay?

Before Anika could say something, Shivaay came towards Anika with a smirk playing on his lips.

S- So finally you're home, wifey. Did you like your welcome party?

Anika looked at Shivaay with a blank face. She couldn't explain what was she feeling, she was feeling relieved after seeing him but she was also feeling confused with his behaviour.

S- Wait, how will you enjoy without having a drink? Have this. This is world's best vodka.

He took the glass near her mouth and Anika closed her eyes because of the strong smell of alcohol.

S- Stop behaving like a child. Have this.

Shivaay shouted at Anika.

N- Sir, you can't....

Nurse was about to stop him when Shivaay shouted at her.

S- SHUT UP. I'M TALKING TO MY WIFE. (To Anika) Come on. Drink it.

Anika looked at him as tears made their way through her eyes.

A- I....I'm .... Preg.... Pregnant...

Anika said while sobbing. At the same time, an elderly woman walked towards them.

W- What's going on here?

Shivaay looked at the woman and rolled his eyes.

S- Tai, I was just welcoming my wife.

The woman glared at Shivaay and went to the music system and unplugged it. The whole crowd whined in disappointment.

W- GET OUT! THE PARTY'S OVER.

The crowd made faces and left the mansion.

Shivaay glared at the woman.

S- How dare you, Tai? You're just a housekeeper of this house. You can't treat my guests like that.

Shivaay shouted at the woman. The woman looked at Shivaay sternly.

W- I know my place very well and if you're forgetting then I have looked after you since you were a child so atleast respect that.

Shivaay looked down in shame.

W- Now you better go and sober up.

Shivaay left the place in anger. Anika was still sobbing.

The woman looked at her with a gentle smile.

W- Hey it's alright. By the way, I'm Madhulika, the housekeeper of this house but you can call me Tai.

Anika smiled at her.

M- Come. Let me take you to your room.

They entered an elevator and reached the living room.

M- Do you want me to shift your room downstairs? You know as you're pregnant.

Anika smiled at her.

A- No Tai. I think I'll be fine upstairs.

Madhulika smiled and they headed upstairs. She noticed that Anika was still in shock after Shivaay's behaviour. She didn't know that who is this girl and why was Shivaay treating her so bad but she knew that she'll be always there to protect her.

M- This is your bedroom.

Anika meekly nodded her head. Suddenly she started feeling light headed. Before Anika could fall down, Madhulika and Geeta held her.

They immediately made her life down on the bed.

M- Oh My God! What happened to her?

N- Ma'am, her blood pressure is high.

The nurse immediately injected medicine in Anika's body and soon her blood pressure was stable.

M- What's going on?

Madhulika asked the nurse worriedly.

N- Ma'am, she met with the accident yesterday only and sir asked to discharge her. We couldn't do anything as he is a very powerful man and he threatened us to shut down our hospital. But Anika ma'am isn't very stable right now, especially after what happened downstairs.

Madhulika rubbed her forehead worriedly.

M- Okay do one thing, call the doctor and ask them to check up on her.

The nurse nodded her head and immediately left to call the doctor.

Madhulika looked at Anika. She gently caressed her forehead.

M- What the hell are you up to, Shivaay? Why are you playing with this innocent girl?

Madhulika sighed in defeat.
