The friends and heroes had to pass through many other parts of Disney Land to reach Mickey; sadly, lots were corrupted by Alternexis by the time they arrived. Finally, they were knocking on Mickey's front door.

"Hello? Why, Pongo! How ya doin' pal? Haven't seen ya in quite some time." Mickey said, cheery as ever.

"Hello, Mr. Mouse. It seems we have a bit of a predicament in our fair land." Pongo told Mickey, and pointed to the dark corruption spreading quickly over the world.

"Oh my gosh! What is that?" He asked.

"It's-a some kind of evil magic. And, it's-a everywhere!" Mario said. "We need to-a leave, and we need-a your help."

"Then I'll need somethin' first." Mickey said.

He led the group to the home of the power wizard, Yen Sid. From the wizard's workshop, Mickey returned with the Magic Paintbrush, it held the power to change its weilder's surroundings and create their greatest wishes. Now that he had the brush, they flew with Mario once more into space. Mickey, Pongo, and Perdita looked back to see the last bit of their happy home turn dark, but they knew that it would be saved soon. Now it was off to find Kirby.

"Here we go! To Planet Popstar!" Mario shouted.
