Mary-Ellen blinked a couple of times. She stared at Snappy and did not move.

Would her plan be ruined?

"W-what am I doing?" she sputtered. "What are you doing? Especially here?"

Snappy crossed his arms. "After Slappy left with Shelly, Wally suggested that he and I should head for home. I noticed that you were not going home, so I decided to follow you."

"What about Wally?"

"I told him to go without me. He happily obliged." He glanced at the screen. "I see that you found an article that talks about the deaths of Shelly's parents."

"Yeah." She brushed her hair back. "I stumbled upon it and got curious."

"How did you stumble upon it?"

"It was on the news page."

"Hmm. How can that be? Our news page does not do articles like that." He pointed at the screen. "The font is different."

Mary-Ellen clenched her teeth. "How did you know?"

"I am on the news page almost every day." He narrowed his eyebrows. "You are now going to tell me what you are up to. And do not lie."

She sighed. She had no choice. "I...I plan on sabotaging Shelly. To split her and Slappy."

Snappy's eyes widened. "And how will you sabotage her?"

"I...I will use her grief to make Slappy think that she has gone crazy."

"Really?" He smiled. "Count me in."
