Snappy and Wally smirked and dusted off their clothes.

"Ah. Shelly," Wally spoke. He sat on the left side of her, and Snappy sat on the right. "What a coincidence to see you here."

Shelly leaned back in her chair and stared at the magazine that was in her lap. She avoided eye contact. She felt uneasy with the boys near her.

Snappy scooted next to her and put an arm around her. "I am so glad that you are here," he commented.

"Me too." Wally rested his hand on top of hers. "It will make the time go faster."

"Stop it!" Shelly exclaimed. She pushed them away and hugged herself.

Snappy's face saddened. "Aw. What is the matter? Are you not happy to see us?"

Shelly narrowed her eyebrows. "I am not happy to see either of you. Every time when the three of us are alone, you two always try to get the chance to flirt with me."

Wally crossed his legs "So?"

"I am with Slappy. I love him and only him. And he truly loves me."

"I see." Snappy played with his fingers. "That may not last."

"What do you mean by that?"

Suddenly, Slappy and Mary-Ellen came to them. Mary-Ellen skipped down the hallway and hummed a tune to herself. Slappy slowly followed. He looked sad. Disappointed.

Shelly saw him and got up. "Slappy?"

Slappy glared at her. "Mary-Ellen...is carrying my child."
