Mary-Ellen was lying down in her hospital bed and snuggled against her pillow. Her eyes were locked on the large television that was above and a few inches away from her as she changed channels every three seconds. She was holding the small remote and pressing the button that changed the channels each time that she was not satisfied what was playing.

She was not as happy as she was when she first arrived to the hospital. She was glad for what she did and the fact that Shelly herself was in jail. But she was not happy about Wally and his threat.

She became more concerned every second that passed. Wally could not reveal her plan to Slappy and the others. She would most certainly go to jail! But she did not know how in the world she was going to clear Shelly's name.

Drop the charges?

No. That was not an option.

As she thought about what she could do, Mary-Ellen heard a knock at the door. She stopped flipping through the channels.

"Hello?"

The person walked in. "Mary-Ellen?"

Mary-Ellen was a bit surprised to see him. "Slappy?"

Slappy nodded and sat on the edge of the bed. He took her hands into his. "Are you okay? Did Crazy Shelly hurt you?"
