Narrator:After Nikolai's first mission, he continued to live in the Ark, while visiting the outpost everyday to see his girls. After a week, he has been called back in by Andersen, and went to his office.

Nikolai:"At your service, sir."

Andersen:"Commander Nikolai, glad you were available on such short notice. Someone has come up to me, asking to be a part of your team. She's a Nikke you might have met before."

*Andersen said, as Soline walked into the room*

Soline:"C-Commander Nikolai, please let me be part of your team!"

Nikolai:"Huh? You want to join me, Soline?"

Soline:"I just...want be more like an adult. Being with a commander would be the best way, so...I chose you!"

Andersen:"I offered her many other commanders that were capable of using her, but she insisted on you."

Soline:"I-It wasn't like that!"

Nikolai:"Really? Thanks, Soline. Sure, I'll be glad to have you."

*Nikolai put his hand out for a handshake, and Soline gladly received it*

Soline:"I better become an adult now."

Nikolai(mind):Isn't she an adult already if she could enter a war?

Andersen:"I'd hate to interrupt, but Commander Nikolai would have to fill out Soline's paperwork for her to become your Nikke."

Nikolai:"Paperwork? W-What kind of paperwork?"

Andersen:"You just need to sign this document here."

*Andersen pulled out a piece of paper, and handed it to Nikolai*

Andersen:"I would suggest reading it first before signing. You will have to agree to all of the conditions, otherwise your Nikke gets transferred to another commander."

Nikolai:"Understood."

*Nikolai read the document, and signed the bottom*

Nikolai(mind):Wait...they have a portion about 'relationships with Nikke'. 'The relationship between the Nikke and the commander must be professional.' It doesn't say that I can't treat them like a normal person, so...why do people treat them terribly anyway?

Nikolai:"Alright, finished."

*Nikolai handed the document back to Andersen, and Andersen stamped the document*

Andersen:"Congratulations, now this Nikke is yours."

Nikolai:"Great. Once again, welcome to the team, Soline!"

Soline:"R-Right...once again, glad to be a part of your team!"

*Nikolai and Soline leave Andersen's office, and they decide to walk around the Outpost*

Nikolai:"Oh, Soline. Want to get something to eat as a celebration?"

Soline:"Huh? Ok, sure."

*Nikolai spot the cafe, and both of them head inside*

???:"Order?"

*A girl with long grey hair, and hazel eyes lazily sits behind the counter*

Nikolai:"Oh, can I get a coffee with lots of cream, milk, and sugar, please."

Soline:"Hmm...just a coffee please."

Nikolai(mind):She's trying plain coffee again? Oh boy, looks like I'm gonna have to share my drink again.

???:"Alright, here's total."

*Nikolai paid for both drinks, and they sat down at a table near the window*

Nikolai:"You really want to be an adult, huh?"

Soline:"Heck yeah! I don't know what my designer was thinking when making me!"

Nikolai:"Designer? Like the someone from the companies?"

Soline:"What? No, Elysion didn't make my design. The original Soline made the design of the Soline Nikke."

Nikolai:"Original? So you were based off of someone?"

Soline:"Maybe, I wish the original Soline was taller then!"

Nikolai:"You can't really blame her for that."

Nikolai(mind):That's interesting though, all the Nikke were based off of a real person. That means they are a progenitor of that person, right? That's really cool.

*Soline looks around the cafe, and spots multiple grown adult couples at the other tables. Her face started to turn red.*

Nikolai:"Hmm? Are you ok, Soline?"

Soline:"I-I'm fine!"

???:"Here's your drinks. The two coffees, one with a lot of milk and stuff, and the other one plain. Enjoy."

*A girl with short black hair, and hazel eyes puts two cups of coffee on Nikolai and Soline's table*

(Author's complaint:Why is this girl's sprite art much larger than the other girl?!)

Nikolai:"Thank you!"

Soline:"T-Thanks."

*Soline stares at her coffee, while Nikolai starts drinking his own*

Soline:"I'm going to prove I'm an adult with this, again."

*Soline puts the cup up to her mouth, and takes a tiny*

Soline:"...Blech! I can't drink it, I need sugar, milk, cream, anything!"

Nikolai(mind):Here we go again.

Nikolai:"Ok, ok. Just have the rest of mine, alright?"

Soline:"Sorry, I won't be an adult at this rate..."

Nikolai:"It's fine, I'm an adult and I don't like bitter coffee."

Soline:"Ugh..."

*Soline put the mug up to her face, then suddenly stopped. Her face started to turn red again*

Nikolai:"Hmm?"

Nikolai(mind):Don't tell me my cup is also too bitter for her! I already had some of it, and it doesn't taste bitter at all!

*Soline was looking around the cafe again, and noticed most of the adult couples sharing their drinks. She put the mug down on the table, and passed it back to Nikolai*

Soline:"Y-You can have it. I don't need a drink."

Nikolai(mind):Then what was the point of getting a drink!

Nikolai:"We're swapping drinks. You get my sweet coffee, and I get your bitter coffee."

Soline:"F-Fine."

*Soline blushed, as she started drinking. While Nikolai managed to drink the bitter coffee with a pained expression on his face*

Soline:"Thanks, Nikolai. I'm glad we're celebrate me joining your team."

Nikolai:"Yeah...no problem."

Nikolai(mind):Ugh, so bitter!

*They finish their drinks, and leave the cafe. After walking around the Outpost for a little while, Nikolai and Soline said goodbye, and parted ways. Nikolai headed towards a his dorm, however...*

Nikolai:"How did I get lost?"

Nikolai(mind):Ok, my room is somewhere on the third floor, but I can't find it on the right side of the elevator. Maybe it's on the other side?

*Nikolai then spotted a young man with messy brown hair, that covered his eyes, walking in the hallway. He noticed Nikolai's lost expression, and approached him*

???:"Excuse me, are you lost?"

Nikolai:"Huh? Yeah, can you help me please?"

???:"Sure, what's your name?"

Nikolai:"Nikolai Rolan, I became a commander a week ago."

???:"I see, makes sense that you're lost. This place can be a maze sometimes."

Nikolai:"Yeah, my room is probably on the other side though."

???:"Oh, alright then. Do you need help finding it?"

Nikolai:"Uh, no thanks. I'll be fine from here."

???:"Alright, I've got to get to Andersen's office. I'll see you around then."

Nikolai:"Right, see you around."

*Nikolai walked past the man, and continued down the hallway*

???:"Oh, wait! You're the new commander that has Rapi on your team, right?"

Nikolai:"Huh? Well, yeah. Do you know her?"

???:"Yeah, tell her and the other two I said hi."

Nikolai:"Huh?"

???:"I've got to go now, take care!"

Nikolai:"Wait, what-"

*The man ran through the hallway, and disappeared around the corner*

Nikolai(mind):Who was that? I think I should visit the counters squad, and ask them.

*Nikolai continued through the hallway, and walked out of the Ark, and headed towards the Nikke dorms*

Narrator:Who was that mysterious man, how does he know Rapi and the others, and what will Nikolai do now that he owns a child...or whatever Soline is? Stay tuned for next episode.

Hey bros, it's me, the author. Still doing good on the weekly posting schedule, yay! For the weekly update about my time in the game. I got Signal from a Elysion gem pull, which made me forgive the hell I had to go through in their Tribe Tower. And I finally finished Guilty's rehabilitation quests, and is now my token Yandere of this game. I've now started Quency's rehabilitation story, since Sin is the leader of the group, and I wanted to take the mini bosses down first. However, I haven't made any progress in the campaign, because my phone overheats every time I'm on the game for too long...maybe I should take breaks so my phone can cool down. Anyway, that's all the updates for me. Here's the meme of the week:
