Narrator:Nikolai suddenly got called in when he woke up, so he got up and went to Andersen's office. Let's see what his mission is this time.

Nikolai:"Good morning, Andersen."

Andersen:"Good morning, Nikolai. Thank you coming here so early in the morning."

Nikolai:"My pleasure, so what do you need?"

Andersen:"A sighting of a hostile force has been spotted near the Ark, you are to dispose of it as soon as possible."

Nikolai:"Oh, and the assigned squad?"

Andersen:"None, you get to bring who you choose."

Nikolai:"Really? Awesome!"

Nikolai(mind):I haven't seen the Counters squad in a while, time to go with them.

Nikolai:"Thank you, Andersen. I'll be back!"

Andersen:"Good luck, Nikolai."

*Nikolai leaves the office, and headed towards the Nikke dorms. He looks at the label 'Counters', and knocks on the door. Anis opens the door*

Anis:"Oh, Nikolai. What's up?"

Nikolai:"Andersen gave me another assignment, and I'm allowed to bring you guys with me."

Anis:"We're going on a mission with you? Alright! Let me tell the others."

*Anis goes back into the room, and gets Neon and Rapi*

Neon:"A mission with Nikolai! Time to show him my new upgraded firepower."

Anis:"You haven't changed anything though."

Neon:"I've gotten slightly stronger, I'm sure Nikolai will notice."

Rapi:"Ready to head out, Nikolai."

Nikolai:"Heh, alright. Let's go then."

*They head up to the surface, and Nikolai notices the area Andersen sent him*

Nikolai:"It's only a couple miles from here."

Anis:"Nice, Nikolai finally gets a break."

Nikolai(mind):The fact that an enemy's this close to the Ark seems concerning.

Rapi:"Do we know what we are up against?"

Nikolai:"Nope, Andersen didn't tell me anything about that."

Anis:"Figures, it's like he's always hiding something."

Nikolai:"Really? Huh..."

Nikolai(mind):Guess I never thought of him like that, but now that I think about it, he does hide some things.

*Nikolai and the Counters walked towards the location, and the surroundings look barren*

Nikolai(mind):It's like a dessert here, what are we supposed to be looking for here? I don't see any huge raptures.

Nikolai:"Are we even looking for a rapture?"

Rapi:"..."

Anis:"How about we split up, me and Neon will check the south, and Nikolai and Rapi will check the north."

Neon:"Huh?! But I want to show Nikolai my firepower."

Anis:"Well, too bad. He will be just fine with Rapi.

Nikolai:"Well, sounds good to me! Let's meet back here in an hour, ok?"

Anis:"Roger that!"

*Nikolai and Rapi walked away, and Anis and Neon went in the opposite direction*

Nikolai:"What should we be looking for to search for a rapture?"

Rapi:"I'm not sure, but I don't see any signs that a rapture has been here."

Nikolai:"Wait, really? Then what attacked this place?"

Rapi:"...A Heretic would be my guess."

Nikolai:" A Heretic?"

Nikolai(mind):I only know of one heretic, and I don't think she would do something like this. Someone else was here.

Rapi:"...Nikolai, I'm getting a signal."

Nikolai:"Really? Where is it coming from?"

Rapi:"I'm not sure, I feel something is jamming my tracking senses."

Nikolai:"Jamming?"

Nikolai(mind):This must be a Heretic then, I don't think a rapture can hack a Nikke's systems.

*Nikolai and Rapi continued looking around, yet they still spotted nothing. A sandstorm also started to blow in, limiting both of their eyesight.*

Nikolai(mind):It's so dusty, I can only see a few feet in front of me.

Nikolai:"Hey, Rapi. We should probably head back-"

*Nikolai turned around, but didn't see Rapi. He got separated from her by getting lost in the sandstorm*

Nikolai:"Rapi?! Hello?!"

Nikolai(mind):Crap, if anything were to attack me, I'd be dead.

Nikolai:"I-I'm sure she's just around here somewhere. I'm sure I'll find her...hopefully."

*Nikolai walks around in the sandstorm, without running into anyone or anything*

Nikolai(mind):No way, I'm completely lost.

Nikolai:"Screw it, hello! Can anyone hear me?!"

*Nikolai suddenly hears something move behind him*

Nikolai(mind):I shouldn't have shouted, I'm such an idiot!

A large shadow towers over Nikolai*

Nikolai:"Oh god, it's a rapture."

*Nikolai turns around and spots the large rapture*

Nikolai:"Help! Rapi! Anis! Neon! There's a rapture right here!"

*Nikolai doesn't get a response back, as the rapture goes to pierce him with its leg*

Nikolai(mind):Ah! I'm sorry, everyone!

*Nikolai closed his eyes in fear, but he didn't feel any pain. He opened his eyes and saw the rapture's leg stopped in its tracks.

Nikolai:"Huh?"

???:"You there, fellow commander."

*Nikolai sees a faint figure within the sandstorm, but he could tell what they looked like*

???:"Watch out!"

*The rapture tries to shoot Nikolai, yet the bullets are stopped before they can reach him*

Nikolai:"W-Who's there, thank you!"

???:"Please, you can thank me when we're safe. B-But verbally, no need to thank me in any other way."

Nikolai(mind):Huh? What did she mean by that?

*Nikolai ran towards the figure as the rapture continued shooting*

???:"We must retreat. Quick, this way."

*Nikolai followed the unknown figure underneath a small structure. The rapture soon lost sight, and suddenly just dropped to the ground*

Nikolai:"Whoa! W-What the?"

???:"This rapture powers up and shuts down on command. I've never seen a rapture like that before."

Nikolai:"Oh, yeah. Thanks for saving me again. I'm Nikolai."

*Nikolai looked at the now visible figure to see a long blonde haired girl with blue eyes wearing a priestess robe*

???:"Oh, my pleasure. You may call me Rapunzel."

Nikolai(mind):Another Nikke on the surface, is she a heretic? She doesn't really strike me as one.

Rapunzel:"If I may ask, you are a commander, correct?"

Nikolai:"Uh, yes I am a commander."

Rapunzel:"Oh thank the goddess, I thought I'd never be able to meet with another commander."

Nikolai:"Huh? Why's that?"

Rapunzel:"Well...it's complicated."

Nikolai(mind):Complicated? How complicated can it be?

Rapunzel:"Say, commander. Where is your squad?"

Nikolai:"I was separated from them. I'm sorry, but can you please help me find them?"

Rapunzel:"I-I..."

Nikolai:"Please?"

*Nikolai stared at Rapunzel in anticipation*

Rapunzel:"Oh fine, please stop it with the puppy dog eyes."

Nikolai:"Yes! Thank you so much, Rapunzel."

*Nikolai ventured off back into the sandstorm to find the Counters squad*

Rapunzel:"By the goddess, I've never met such a childish commander in my life. Still looks pretty strong and masculine...b-but I must take him back to his squad."

*Rapunzel hesitantly followed Nikolai in the sandstorm*
