Narrator:A day after Nikolai met Modernia, he was then sent on another mission, let's see how it goes for him.

*Nikolai headed to Elysion headquarters, and saw Ingrid at the entrance, waiting for him*

Ingrid:"About time, commander Nikolai."

Nikolai:"Sorry about that, but I'm ready now."

Ingrid:"Good, let me get your partnering squad."

Nikolai:"Oh, ok then."

*Ingrid went into the headquarters, leaving Nikolai outside*

Nikolai(mind):The Absolute squad is who I'm working with. If I remember correctly, the members were Emma, Vesti, and Eunhwa. Emma and Vesti were nice to me, but Eunhwa refused to talk to me because I was a newbie. I may still be a newbie, but I've survived a couple missions...I think that's good enough to stop being a newbie, right?

*Nikolai waited around the headquarters, and saw two mysterious figures in the Elysion building. However, Nikolai was unable to see them clearly*

Nikolai(mind):Who was that? I could barely see anything.

*Nikolai heard a entrance open, and saw Ingrid with the three girls of the Absolute*

Nikolai:"Nice to see you three again, it's been a while."

Emma:"Oh my, if it isn't Rapi's new commander. I didn't know you'd be commanding us this mission."

*Emma pats Nikolai head, and smiles at him*

Nikolai(mind):At least she's nice to me.

Vesti:"H-Hello again..."

Eunhwa:"Tch."

*Eunhwa's long black hair swayed, as she turned and refused to even look at Nikolai*

Nikolai(mind):Alright then, this is going to be a weird mission.

Nikolai:"Let's do our best, ok?"

Eunhwa:"Why bother with you?"

Nikolai:"Huh?"

Eunhwa:"Listen to yourself, you're far too cheerful for something like this."

Nikolai:"Well, it's better than sulking around, being a downright awful person...like you."

Eunhwa:"I'm being realistic here, you're the one living with sunshine and false hopes."

Nikolai(mind):I don't like her. Fine, if she doesn't respect me, I won't respect her then.

Vesti:"W-We shouldn't fight with the commander, Eunhwa."

*Vesti played with her short silver hair out of nerves*

Eunhwa:"You want take his spot then?"

Vesti:"Eep!"

*Vesti hides behind Nikolai*

Nikolai(mind):Ok, this is different than just being an edgy meanie. It's like she straight up hates everyone.

Emma:"Let's get started on our mission, shall we?"

Nikolai:"Right, let's go. Thank you for letting me borrow this squad for my mission, Ingrid."

Ingrid:"Don't mention it, now get out there."

Nikolai:"Yes ma'm."

*Nikolai and the absolute squad leaves the Elysion headquarters, and head up to the surface*

Nikolai:"Ok, does anyone have the location of the classified info that we're looking for."

Eunhwa:"Approximately 30 miles west of here."

Nikolai:"Whoa. Ok, thanks."

Eunhwa:"Don't get used to me helping."

Nikolai(mind):I was concerned that I was talking to the wrong person for a second, but never mind.

Nikolai:"Let's go then."

*Nikolai and the absolute squad start hiking towards the location*

Nikolai(mind):This is the one thing I forgot I hate about missions, this is torture...

Vesti:"Um...commander Nikolai?"

Nikolai:"Huh? What's up, Vesti?"

Vesti:"O-Oh, nothing. It's just...um...I'm sorry about Eunhwa."

Nikolai:"Oh, you don't need to be sorry for her. I appreciate it though."

Vesti:"It's just...uh...you seemed pretty cool for talking back to her."

Nikolai:"Really? I just wanted her to know what I think."

Vesti:"I-I could never do that, she's too scary."

Nikolai(mind):I bet she is.

Eunhwa:"You know I can hear you two, right?"

Vesti:"Eep!"

Nikolai:"Ok, and?"

Eunhwa:"Quit screwing around, and keep up."

Nikolai:"Uh...I'm in front."

*Eunhwa walked ahead of Nikolai*

Eunhwa:"Now you're not."

Nikolai:"Ugh..."

*They continued their hike, until the made it about 4 hours later. The environment changed from luscious grasslands to stormy snowy mountain lands.

Nikolai:"Brr...I hate missions, man..."

Emma:"Eunhwa, the commander's falling behind."

Eunhwa:"If he can't catch up, we leave him then."

Emma:"You know we can't actually do that, right?"

Eunhwa:"We don't need a commander like him for this mission. If he can't keep up, then he can go back home."

Nikolai(mind):This brat thinks she can just leave me up on the surface?

Nikolai:"Erg..."

*Nikolai pushed ahead of the group*

Nikolai:"Come on! Let's go!"

Eunhwa:"..."

Emma:"...Maybe we do."

Eunhwa:"Oh, shut it."

Vesti:"Commander, um...we're in range of the target."

Nikolai:"Where? I can't see anything."

Nikolai(mind):I only see snow. Huh...I never thought an environment could be overwhelmed with snow like this.

Vesti:"Um...there's a bunker entrance here!"

Nikolai:"A bunker? What's a bunker doing here?"

Emma:"Let's head inside and find out, commander Nikolai."

*Nikolai enters the bunker, and he immediately finds himself in some type of laboratory. In the center of the room was a desk with documents*

Nikolai(mind):These must be the classified info we needed for the mission.

Nikolai:"Alright!"

*Nikolai grabbed the documents, and realized that nothing on the documents was blackened out*

Nikolai(mind):What? They didn't use any type of ink to hide the contents?

*Nikolai read the document*

Nikolai(mind):'Reports of Heretics'? What's this all about?

Nikolai:"Wait, Aren't Heretics-"

*Nikolai suddenly heard a loud thud. Nikolai recognized the sound even if it was coming from miles away*

Nikolai:"A rapture's here."

Emma:"Commander Nikolai, we have a high ranked rapture heading right for us."

Nikolai:"Seriously?!"

Nikolai(mind):How are we going to escape it in the snow?!

Nikolai:"We've got no choice but to fight it."

Emma:"Roger."

*Emma heads out of the bunker*

Nikolai(mind):I know the safest option for me is to wait here until it's safe, but with this being a high ranked Rapture...

Nikolai:"I have to be there for Absolute, I can't just sit here and wait."

*Nikolai headed back up, and saw a rapture towering over him and the Absolute squad. Nikolai froze from merely looking at the rapture*

Nikolai:"H-Help..."

Eunhwa:"Get down, commander!"

*Eunhwa knocked Nikolai back down the bunker, as the rapture goes to crush him with its foot. Eunhwa dodged the attack, and led the rapture away from the bunker*

Nikolai:"Ugh! What the, was that Eunhwa?! She saved me?!"

*Nikolai got out of the bunker again, and saw the squad fighting off the rapture*

Nikolai(mind):Man...the last person I expected to help me would be Eunhwa. Now I've got to return the favor!

*Nikolai looked at the rapture once more*

Nikolai(mind):spider-like legs, turret on its hips, missile launchers on its shoulders, and rocket launchers for arms. What could be this thing's weakness?!

Nikolai:"Maybe it's shields are weak to compensate for its weaponry. Wait, it doesn't even have a shield."

Nikolai(mind):All Absolute has to do is shoot it.

*The rapture shoots at the Absolute squad, and all three of the them are stuck behind cover*

Nikolai:"Oh shoot."

Nikolai(mind):The easiest way to get a clean shot on this thing is to constantly distract it. They should be split up, and shoot at different times.

Nikolai:"Absolute!"

*Nikolai shouted and ran towards the fight*

Eunhwa:"Get back down the damn bunker, commander."

Nikolai:"Listen to me, you have to split up! It will get distracted, and give the others a chance to shoot it!"

*The rapture turned its attention to Nikolai, and it started walking towards him*

Nikolai:"Ah! I didn't volunteer to be the distract."

*Nikolai was able to find cover and hide behind it before the rapture starred shooting from its turret*

Emma:"Come on, Vesti. Head over there, I'll go the opposite way. Let's follow Nikolai's instructions."

Vesti:"Alright!"

Eunhwa:"...Fine."

*The Absolute squad followed Nikolai's plan, and Eunhwa started shooting the rapture. It turned its attention back to Eunhwa, and headed towards her*

Nikolai:"Huh?"

*Emma then shoots from her position, causing the rapture to turn towards Emma. Then Vesti shot at it, making it turn towards Vesti.*

Nikolai(mind):It's working.

*They continue shooting the rapture at different times to confuse it, until it started to emit smoke*

Eunhwa:"It's going down."

*All three of them shoot rapture, causing it to shut down*

Nikolai:"Alright! They did it!"

*As the rapture falls to the ground, a crack starts to form in the ground*

Nikolai:"Huh? What's happening-"

*The ground beneath Nikolai's feet starts rumbling*

Nikolai(mind):Wait, are we right by a cliff?

*Nikolai looks around, and spots a cliff behind him*

Emma:"Are you ok over there, commander?"

Nikolai:"Don't come over here! It's gonna fall-"

*Nikolai falls to the ground, as the ground starts falling*

Nikolai:"Ugh! Whoa, whoa, whoa!"

*Nikolai slides off the cliff, and falls down towards the ground*

Narrator:And we're going to stop it right here. Find out what happens to Nikolai, and if he survives the fall...next time!
