Narrator:Nikolai is about to start his second rehabilitation session with Guilty, let's see what he does...

*Nikolai opened the door, and saw Guilty sitting in heavier restraints than last time. Her eyes widened*

Guilty:"You're that young new counselor, I'm surprised you came back."

Nikolai:"I promised that I'd be back. Now then...what do you want to talk about?"

Guilty:"I thought you're supposed to be guiding me?"

Nikolai(mind):If I were to focus on controlling her strength, something bad might happen. I need to make her trust me first.

Nikolai:"Yeah, and I will. First, I want to know about you."

Guilty:"Why? Why would you want that?"

Nikolai:"Because I want to get to know you more."

*Guilty stares at Nikolai*

Guilty:"R-Really? Ah."

*She suddenly looks away*

Nikolai:"Yep, we can figure out how to rehabilitate you while we talk."

Guilty:"How would that work-"

Nikolai:"What do you want to talk about?"

Guilty:"...I don't know."

Nikolai:"Ok...that does make things more complicated."

Guilty:"You're the one that suggested it! Here I thought you were different because you showed up for a second session..."

Nikolai(mind):Crap, I need to think of something quick.

Nikolai:"Uh...so that overwhelming strength of yours, is there even a limit to it?"

Guilty:"Not sure, every thing I hit gets destroyed."

Nikolai:"I-I see..."

Nikolai(mind):Not terrifying at all...

Nikolai:"Surely there is a limit. Maybe we can find a way to reach your limit."

Guilty:"Why would I want to do that?"

Nikolai:"So that you can better control your strength."

Guilty:"..."

Nikolai(mind):I can't tell what she's thinking, maybe I should offer something to do.

Nikolai:"Let's see...how about this table? You can break it easily, right?"

*Guilty slammed her restrained arms on the metal table, which was broken in half*

Nikolai:"..."

Nikolai(mind):Holy crap! Ok, I guess that's a yes!

*Guilty then grabbed half of the table and proceeded to continuously rib the table like it was paper*

Nikolai:"...O-Ok, I think that's enough."

*Guilty dropped the now parts of the metal, and sat back into her chair*

Guilty:"That's my strength. Still think I can control it?"

Nikolai:"Well, yeah. It's already been before, right?"

Guilty:"..."

Nikolai(mind):Right?

Nikolai:"Controlling your strength might take a couple sessions, but I guarantee that doing so will get your out of here easily."

Guilty:"You truly believe that I could be free?"

Nikolai:"Yes, I believe that anyone can be free. You have to trust me."

Guilty:"..."

*Guilty looks at Nikolai, then shyly looks away*

Guilty:"How do I know that you won't leave me in the future?"

Nikolai:"Even if I fail to rehabilitate you, I'll keep trying until I succeed. That's how you'll know."

Guilty:"I don't believe you...you're being too nice to me."

Nikolai(mind):What's wrong with that?! I'm just being a considerate person!

Nikolai:"Well, if you still don't believe me, I'll prove it to you by rehabilitating you on my first try."

Guilty:"How will you do that, nobody will be able to rehabilitate me again. The counselor before was different from any human I've ever meet."

Nikolai(mind):Well, I'm not him. Wait...what was the old counselor doing to successfully rehabilitate her? The counselor must have been Y/N.

Nikolai:"How about we talk about other stuff. How about things you enjoy?"

Guilty:"Well...I can tell you some things I don't like. Solitary confinement, these restraints, these counseling sessions...just give up, counselor. You're not going to help me, and you know it."

Nikolai:"..."

Nikolai(mind):I guess there's nothing I can say to her to convince her otherwise. Well, actions do speak louder than words.

Nikolai:"Let's try something."

Guilty:"Huh?"

*Nikolai looked down at the broken metal table, and picked up a small piece*

Nikolai:"If you have the strength to rip this apart, try to make it change shape without breaking it."

Guilty:"That's impossible, I'll crush it."

Nikolai:"If you don't try."

Nikolai(mind):If Y/N rehabilitated her, then he must've been able to help her control her strength. I just need to try the same thing.

*Nikolai handed the piece to Guilty, and she tried to morph it using one hand. However, it only took a second until Nikolai heard a loud crunch under Guilty's hand*

Guilty:"Ugh..."

*Guilty opened her hand, and smaller pieces of the metal fell out of her hand*

Guilty:"I told you. It's not going to work."

Nikolai:"...This may take a while."

Guilty:"Huh?"

*Nikolai picks up another small piece of the metal table off the floor*

Nikolai:"We'll just keep going. I know you can do it."

*Guilty sighed, as Nikolai put the piece of the metal in her hand. After an hour of attempting to control Guilty's strength, there has been no progress*

Guilty:"When will you give it stop already?"

Nikolai:"Hmm...and all the small enough pieces are gone."

Guilty:"Can we just end our session today?"

Nikolai(mind):I shouldn't push it too far, I guess. I'll have to come up with something else next time.

Nikolai:"Alright, fine. It's been a pleasure trying to help you for today. I'll be back tomorrow."

Guilty:"..."

*Nikolai stands up from his chair, and walked out of the room*

Nikolai(mind):Same thing happened with Quency, she was very resistant. Was she even trying to not break the metal?

*Nikolai passed Mana, and remembered something*

Nikolai:"Oh, Mana."

Mana:"Yes, commander?"

Nikolai:"Do you have any reports or files from the successful rehabilitation of Guilty?"

Mana:"We have the counselor's report, but I'm afraid that's all we have."

Nikolai:"Just the report is perfect, thanks."

Mana:"Very well."

*Mana pulled out a small folder with a couple papers inside, and handed it to Nikolai*

Mana:"Are you having second thoughts about helping her?"

Nikolai:"Of course not, she's just being a bit difficult. I'll be fine."

*Nikolai took the file, and walked out of the rehabilitation center. He made it to his dorm, and sat at his desk*

Nikolai:"Alright, let's see what Y/N did to help with rehabilitating Guilty."

*Nikolai opened the file, and read through every report*

Nikolai(mind):So Y/N brought a bunch of heavy dumbbells with him to each session to try and control her strength.

*He grew more and more frightened just reading them*

Nikolai(mind):'Day 3, after witnessing footage of Guilty breaking a prisoner's bones just by hugging him. I was more anxious going into my session with her. We worked on the dumbbells again, but still no results. Guilty was just...conflicted when I brought up the footage I saw. She did purposefully hospitalized me, but I'm not giving up.'

Nikolai:"Oh heck no!"

Nikolai(mind):I don't want to be hospitalized! How was he still willing to help her after she injured him?!

*Nikolai went to the next report*

Nikolai(mind):'Day 4, I had returned for another session after being hospitalized for a few days. However, today was very different from the previous sessions. Guilty was shocked when I came back, and her behavior immediately changed when I offered to help her again...'

Nikolai:"Huh?"

Nikolai(mind):'...I didn't bring anything with me this session, but it wasn't by accident. I wanted to help Guilty with my own hands, so I hugged her and held her hand. Her shock and reluctance to injury me again was enough for her to hold onto me without breaking my hand. I believed that even if she is evil for intentionally hurting people, she could still be rehabilitated, and to further encourage her behavior I promised that when she gets released, I'll hold her hand whenever she requests to...'

Nikolai:"So that's how? Just coming back after getting injured?"

Nikolai(mind):'...The next day, Mana told me that Guilty has been fully rehabilitated. And today is my final session with her. However, Mana made Guilty my responsibility for rehabilitating her. If anything bad were to happen, it would be my price to pay.'

*Nikolai flips the paper over, but there was nothing left in the reports*

Nikolai:"That's it? There wasn't any reports after that? Nothing about how Guilty got back into the center?"

Nikolai(mind):I mean, I guess these are only reports of the sessions. I think I get the idea though.

Nikolai:"I need Guilty to break my arm...no, that sounds terrible!"

Nikolai(mind):Since Guilty is still crushed about Y/N, I don't think I'll be easily seen as a replacement. I need to find a new way, but how?

*Nikolai wondered about that question in his dorm for the rest of the afternoon*
