Narrator:After the talk show, Nikolai wondered what he should see himself as. To get an idea of how to view himself, he went to see the Counters squad, to ask what they think of him.

*Nikolai arrived at the Counter squad's dorm, and knocked on the door. He heard Anis from the other side of the door*

Anis:"Who is it?"

Nikolai:"Hey girls! It's me, Nikolai."

Rapi:"Nikolai?"

*Rapi answered the door, and let Nikolai into the dorm. He looked around the dorm and saw less soda cans on the floor compared to last time*

Nikolai:"Wow, you guys are cleaning after yourselves. That's character development there."

Neon:"Exactly, the power of firepower was able to make me clean!"

Anis:"You could've told us you were coming, and it would've been spotless."

Nikolai:"Sure..."

*Nikolai looks over at Rapi, and she sighs*

Nikolai(mind):Sorry you had to do all the cleaning, Rapi.

Rapi:"Is everything ok, Nikolai?"

Nikolai:"Oh, uh...I just wanted your opinion on something."

Anis:"Kinda ominous, but what is it?"

Nikolai:"What do you girls think of me? Do you see me as a hero or something?"

Anis:"A hero? Well, you're far more reliable than a hero like Laplace."

Neon:"You are a fellow believer of firepower, that's all I see you as."

Rapi:"..."

Nikolai:"Rapi? What about you?"

Rapi:"If you don't want to be called a hero, then I believe you are a savior."

Nikolai:"A savior, huh..."

Neon:"The firepower savior!"

Anis:"That sounds like a dumb superhero name."

Neon:"I think it's a great name!"

Anis:"Why ask that, Nikolai?"

Nikolai:"Oh, uh..."

Nikolai(mind):I don't want to burden them, I'll keep my self-doubt to myself.

Nikolai:"Just wondering what you girls thought about me over the past couple of months."

Anis:"Well, you are very reliable and kind towards us, so you're like a friend to us more than anything."

Nikolai:"Anis..."

Neon:"A firepower friend!"

Anis:"Can you stop making everything about firepower?!"

Neon:"Huh? Why?!"

*Nikolai hung out with the girls for a couple more hours until he decided to head out*

Nikolai:"Thanks for hanging out with me, girls. It means a lot."

Rapi:"Of course, Nikolai. We are always here for you."

Nikolai:"Great, I'll see you later!"

*Nikolai left the Nikke dorms, and walked around*

Nikolai:"A savior towards Nikke."

Nikolai(mind):If there's already a savior for humanity, why can't there be a savior of Nikke? Should I be that? No, last time I tried that, a video was posted and I got arrested. But...

???:"You useless piece of junk!"

*Nikolai recognized the voice, and immediately sighed*

Nikolai(mind):Ugh...it's Syuen. I never want to see that girl again. Wait, why is she here?

Syuen:"What happened to commander Y/N? He should've been back by now!"

???:"Ugh!"

*Nikolai heard a loud thud, and he instinctively hide behind something*

Nikolai(mind):What the heck was that? I'm going to get closer.

*Nikolai headed towards the commotion, and saw Syuen with two familiar Nikkes*

Nikolai(mind):Wait...those are the girls that helped with my mission to rescue the Matis squad. What were their names again, Mihara and Yuni? All I remember about them was their weird S&M act.

*Syuen punched Yuni to the ground, and continued to beat down in her, as Mihara looks away*

Syuen:"That damned commander has to come back before the media shifts its focus from Nikolai's stupid antics to Missilis's failure of manufacturing."

Mihara:"..."

Yuni:"Ugh!" *Sobs*

Syuen:"Damn it!"

*Syuen stomps her foot on Yuni's body*

Yuni:"Ugh! Please, stop..."

Nikolai:"!"

*Without thinking, Nikolai rushed in front of Syuen*

Nikolai:"What are you doing, Syuen?!"

Syuen:"Huh? Oh, It's you. What is it? You want more work from me?"

Nikolai:"What? No, just stop hurting Yuni!"

Syuen:"Huh? Why? I'm relieving some stress."

Nikolai:"There are better ways to relieve stress that does have to do with harming others!"

Syuen:"So what? These Nikke can't feel the pain I'm inflicting on them anyway."

Nikolai:"You realize how messed up that sounds, right?"

Syuen:"No, I don't. Tell me how messed up it is, and see if I care."

Nikolai:"Erg..."

*Nikolai pushes Syuen's foot off of Yuni*

Nikolai:"Just stop hurting her."

Syuen:"Erg...Mihara. Do your thing."

Mihara:"Yes, Syuen...I'm sorry, commander Nikolai."

*Mihara emits a blue light, and aims it at Nikolai*

Mihara:"Switch is complete."

Syuen:"Perfect, now then."

*Syuen then punches Mihara in the stomach, and Nikolai suddenly feels his stomach tense up*

Nikolai:"Ugh! W-What was-"

*Syuen punches Mihara in the face, and Nikolai suddenly feels the same impact*

Nikolai:"Ugh! How does that work-"

Nikolai(mind):Is that Mihara's power? She's able to transfer her pain towards others?!

*Syuen kicks Mihara's shins, and that makes Nikolai fall to his knees*

Syuen:"You really think I care about some lowly commander who talks back to me? Last time someone did that to me was forced into the hospital. In fact..."

*Syuen goes to Yuni, who was still on the ground, and pulls out a pistol*

Syuen:"I think you deserve a trip there too."

Nikolai:"Erg...you little..."

*Syuen fires two shots in Mihara's chest, and Nikolai starts to feel an unbearable pain in his chest*

Nikolai:"Ugh! Agh! Erg...Agh!"

Syuen:"Oh, what's the matter, not enough pain for you? Let's see if you'll last the record of 7 shots."

Nikolai:"Huh?"

*Syuen then unloaded the rest of the pistol's bullets into Mihara's chest, which makes Nikolai scream in pain for a total of 10 pistol shots to his chest*

Nikolai:"Ughhhh! Ahhhhhh! Ugh! Agh!"

Nikolai(mind):I can't breathe! This hurts so much, my vision is...fading...this little brat...I've had enough of her! I wish I could just punch her once.

*Nikolai suddenly stood up, and rushed towards Syuen, who is shocked by his sudden burst of strength*

Syuen:"What the-"

*He punches Syuen in the face. The blow sent her into a nearby wall, and knocked her unconscious. While Nikolai finally gave into his wounds, and passed out*

Nikolai(mind):Ugh...what just happened...

*Nikolai opened his eyes, and saw himself in a hospital room. He saw two familiar faces greet him*

Pepper:"Nikolai, are you ok?"

Nikolai:"Pepper? What...happened to me?"

Pepper:"Two Nikke barged into the hospital with you completely unconscious."

Nikolai:"Two Nikke?"

Nikolai(mind):Was it Yuni and Mihara? I hope they are alright.

Nikolai:"Ugh!"

Pepper:"Careful, you just suffered a cardiac arrest."

Nikolai:"I...what?"

Pepper:"When we were in the middle of waking you up, your heart suddenly stopped. It was really scary, but luckily your heart started again thanks to the defibrillator."

Nikolai:"My heart...stopped?"

Pepper:"Yes, the Nikke told us that you experienced the pain to 10 shots to the chest. It's a miracle that it didn't kill you."

Nikolai:"What the..."

Nikolai(mind):I was shot 10 times?! And I lived?! What? H-How? No, that must've killed me.

Nikolai:"How am I...alive?"

Pepper:"You need to rest for now, ok?"

Nikolai:"O-Ok..."

*Nikolai fell back asleep*

Narrator:How is Nikolai still alive?! I guess we will have to find out next time!
