It's one of the biggest parties of the year, when thousands of people from all over the world gather to watch the Ball Drop in Times Square, NYC. But New Years' Eve, 2018, also sees the debut of a new street drug coined 'Hiipe'. Whilst the initial effects - the high, the euphoria - are near-instant and last for several days, those who partake experience the mother of all come-downs for they become literal zombies, mindless pack animals with a single, deadly goal; to create more of their kind through bite or scratch. By the time the come-down kicks in it's too late to prevent the ensuing troubles. The hundreds and thousands who took Hiipe have already made their way home, wherever in the world home is for them. It's global. It's a pandemic.

It's the motherfreaking Zombie Apocalypse... 

Hi everyone!

I'm pretty satisfied with the results of the reconstruction of The Comedown. If you happen to be rereading, here's what I've changed:

- Mel's relationships with the people around her (you'll see)

- I cut Jess and Noah from the story- merging them into Chloe and Tristan.

- I've also added Ryan's POV, because honestly, just Mel's POV didn't feel like it had enough action.

- I've also renamed the chapters to different zombie movies and books, as a tribute to them. 

I think that's pretty much it. I hope you enjoy my novella! Please feel free to point out any plot holes, errors, or things that just don't add up.
