When the baby Jaybirds,
told me that you have to leave,
I fell down in the deep deep hole, of fear

I started thinking,
that you didn't care,
about my protection,
from this world's sharpness

The things that you said,
never dared to feat,
the comfortness you always brought to me,
but now you are leaving me here,
all alone to fend off a dragon,
all alone with bandits in the woods,
alone with loneliness. . . .

You told me,
that you had to go far away,
and that the world has just gotten bigger,
why couldn't you take me,
to see those moments,
why, did you leave me here
all you really did was,
ignore me

You left me on a big black stallion,
proving me your truly gone,
wishing now,
you never existed,
so I wouldn't feel my heart break now

What happened to the love,
when I told you daddy,
what happened to the days,
when the forest was,
our journey of fun,
where did you go,
when I asked you how,
I came to be,
who I am

You left me,
You killed me,
you made feel like a damsel,
distressful,
unforgiven,
and dying in the arms of an angel

You ran away,
tied me to this horse,
and floundered off,
like a villain in a coat of arms,
scared to show your face,
to the world,

Closing my eyes,
I hear the voices,
threatening me,
Dragon's calling,
men all shouting,
fog spilling over the landscape,
shielding the way I seek,

The moon is up,
full and bright,
and I feel now the threat of life,
lay on me. . . .

Crushing and crashing,
my body falls to the ground,
snorting and whining,
the horse moves seat,

Drums of death,
beat down in my soul,
hours of screaming,
crushed the little girl in me,
I open my eyes,
shining deep bright,
hunger sits in my eyes

A howl from far,
swells me in,
from it must be,
a cousin or two

Claws breaking,
snout forming,
fur fluffing,
a howl masking,
plays on tune,
in the night where death,
makes a move

Shots fired,
smells of fire,
lead me to them,
behind I sniff,
with an unusual smell,
tears shed,
as I know,
my father,
turned dead on me,
freeing me of this forbidden curse. . . .
