Clawess's POV.

I looked around the dark alley. There was not much food in these bins I knew, but I thought it was worth a try. Suddenly, through the quiet night,- the only sound being the distant cars driving passed the alley way, splashing their wheels in puddles of water -I heard something shaking and banging. I looked around frantically until my eyes landed on the source. A trash can?

I carefully and quietly stalked the shaking trash can, my hackles raised and my eyes wide.

Most cats would run from this, it was probably a kid hiding in there, and if we get too close they'll kick us or hit us. And if they don't, their parents will. But I thought of the possibility that a cat could be trapped in there.

I hopped onto the shaking bin, trying to keep my balance as I pushed the lid off. The lid of the trash can hit the stone ground with an ear piercing bang, vibrating and spinning.
The bin suddenly stopped shaking.
I looked inside and saw a terrified ginger tabby cowering inside. His eyes were wide and his fur was puffed up.
"Help me out of here please! A human trapped me in here hours ago!" The ginger tabby cried.
I felt pity for the poor he-cat and decided to help him. After all, I can't just leave him here, that'd be so cruel of me. I leaned down, grabbing the ginger cat by the scruff and shakily pulling up the big figure.
Finally when I pulled him up high enough, he grabbed onto the side of the bin, then jumped out.
I sighed in relief and jumped down after him.
"Are you okay?" I asked in concern.
"Ah yes! Now I am, thank you Clawess, thank you!" The ginger tabby said happily.

I didn't know who this cat was, but I was a celebrity cat in these streets, all cats and even other animals knew me.
Why am I celebrity you may ask?

Cats flushed into the alley way cheering. "Clawess! Clawess! Clawess!"
Well..  Because of what I just done. I save cats...
But that doesn't mean I'm a hero.
