Chapter 20
Aaaahgghdhhhdhdhdndhdj. Schooooooooooooooooool. IM ACTUALLY HAPPY GUYS
I GET TO DO MATH AGAIN. I happily zoomed into my closet and zoomed out and posed in my mirror making funny faces. It's one of the only exceptions for me to see my face. I slipped my shoes on, grabbed my backpack and headed out of my room. Sliding down the railing of the stairs, I flew onto Pepper, Cherry, and the four boys. They all groaned as I giggled. We all ate breakfast and quickly got out the door to the bus. Since there was so many of us, we had to sit in separate seats with strangers. Well, some of us. Declan sat down by a girl shorter than him but still taller than me. She looked at him and gave him a cute smile, which he surprisingly returned. I had a good feeling about this girl as she handed Declan an earbud and they sat there, listening to music.
We were walking to homeroom now, I nudged Declan's arm and he looked at me questionably. "So, who was yer lil girlfriend back there" I teased, poking his arm. I expected him to scowl or roll his eyes. I didn't, however, expect him to blush and run his arm nervously. No way! My eyes widened and I wore a goofy smile. I kept staring at him, waiting for an answer. He sighed. "S-She'a not my girlfriend..." I chuckled at him and playfully punched his arm. He then rolled his eyes and scoffed. That's what I was waiting for. As soon as we entered homeroom, I plopped down by a boy. A very handsome boy. Who may just be a great kisser. And has amazing hair. And his eyes, wow. His personality is amazing too. And his love for Captain Crunch is amazing.
If you haven't guessed, it was Jace. He peeked over at me and gave me a smile so big, it seemed unreal. I returned the smile. On the corner of my eyes, I saw two new girls. The same girls I saw at camp. I saw them look at me with an evil glint in their eyes, but I shrugged it off. Can't go around accusing new people now can I? I eagerly sat there, ready to meet my new homeroom teacher. Turns out, Mr Cooper became our new homeroom teacher, and I couldn't be any happier. The first day of school went by fast. At lunch we all sat at the same table. Sorta. Declan went to go sit with that girl from the bus. Oh yeah I forgot to mention, I no longer live in that regular house anymore. We now live above my families hand me down diner/bakery/store. It's great you know, just fantastic. No sarcasm, I'm serious. I love helping out in it. With a huge smile, I ate my tacos happily. But yet again, I caught those girls staring at me. And yet again, I shrugged it off.
First day of school was completed. My regular group and I were walking to my house to celebrate it. We all told jokes and goofed around on our way there, and the whip cream and cake didn't help after we got there if you haven't guessed. Here's a hint. We all got the boys. Oh but don't worry, they got us back too. With chocolate. I squealed as Jace smeared chocolate on my face. I grabbed a can of whip cream and swirled it on his head making him yelp. My mother rolled her eyes with a smile and pushed us all upstairs to the living area. We all laughed as we seperated to clean up. And with a groan, we all sat down on the couch to start on our homework. First day of school and we had a stack of various types of homework. Ten minutes later everyone was just getting on to question 20 of page 1. Well almost everyone. I was already on the last question of the last page. As soon as I finished, I put my homework up and saluted my suffering group as I left to help my mother. But as soon as I went down to the bakery, I saw the two same exact girls as before. I wanted to brush it off, but now they were getting to me. Big time. I let out a shaky sigh as I went over and started making the dough for cinnamon rolls, trying my best to ignore them. I had a weird feeling about those two girls, but I knew it was rude to accuse them if I didn't have any proof or reason. I slid the cinnamon rolls into the oven and began making the glaze to pour on top. With a smile I put the glaze on the cinnamon rolls and set them out on display. I took my apron off and called out to my mom that I was going to go buy ingredients to make chicken enchiladas. I grabbed my coat and purse and headed out the door. I had my phone in my purse just in case. I also had my journal that Dauver gave me. Crossing the street I looked back and saw one of the two girls. I started to get worried, where was the other girl? My pace quickened as I hurried to the store. I crossed the park nervously. As I made my way to the stop light, I saw it turned green just as I got there. I hurriedly pressed the button to cross. I turned around and there she was, right behind me, grinning. The light turned red and I sprinted to the other side in fear. "I hope you wanted your memories" the girl from behind me cried out. I looked back at her confused just as I was about to reach the end of the road. That's when I heard tires screeching. I turned to my side and saw a car come straight towards me. The driver was the other girl. I felt a great amount of pain as the car hit me, sending me flying across the road. My final thoughts were on my family and friends. And Jace. Then everything went black.
THE END
