It's been two days after our necklaces acted up and Cherry and I didn't leave our rooms since then. We didn't let anyone but each other get in our rooms, we didn't want to harm them. Tomorrow was Monday, but Cherry and I were not about to go to school like this. My room was completely covered in ice, and Cherry's was like a volcano! Cherry would come to my room when it was to cold, and I would go to hers when it was to hot. We had to have our food brought upstairs and we ate when we knew no one was there. I walked over to my phone and picked it up, careful not to freeze it. I had 66 missed calls from Jace and 190 messages from him...I put my phone down as I lay on my bed. Yesterday Cherry had about the same amount of text and calls as I did, but from Jacexx. We didn't want to see anyone or hear anyone. We just wanted to be alone, away from living people. I looked at my picture of Jace and sighed. I tried not to think of him, it made the ice more unstable than it already was. I wanted to eat something warm, but I wasn't going to leave my room. I had attempted once, and I froze the stairs, causing Mitch to slip on them. I felt awful after finding that out. I face planted into my pillow and screamed. I hated my life so much right now. I heard a knock at the door and waited about 3 minutes before answering. Yum food was here! I quickly chowed down the warm food before the ice froze it cold. The warmth felt so good! I opened the door and set the plate outside the door and nodded hello to Cherry, who placed the tub of ice cream outside of hers. I closed the door and cuddled into bed. I had about twenty blankets on top of me, yet I was freezing cold. I groaned as I turned to my side and looked at the picture of Jace one last time before I drifted off to bed.

     It was Monday, yay -_-... I sighed as I stared out my window and watched the other students walk to school...the normal students. I sighed again for like the 100th time today. Why wasn't I normal? I just want to be okay. Suddenly I got a weird sight in my head, sorta like a flashback. A familiar face popped up and made a whirl of anger fill me. Then it was all gone...that face. It was as if I knew too well, and in a way to where I didn't like it. I sat down and covered my face and tried not to think of anything, but it was hard. All I could think about was everyone, and it's driving both me and the ice crazy! I checked the time, it was almost lunch time. My mom was not home, she had work so it was just Cherry and I. We both left our rooms and headed to the kitchen. We both looked at each other and shrugged as we dug through the kitchen for food to snack on. It was the first time we had left our room. We ate as much as we could. Then the both of us laughed as Cherry had me put ice in the tub so that she could lay in it until it boiled, then I got in. It was like heaven! We both laughed, when suddenly we heard a crash in the living room. Cherry and I made our way down the hallway without making a peep. We peeked over the corner to see a few people in the living room looking around and saw more climbing in through the now broken window. Cherry and I rushed upstairs to our rooms. I called 911 as I heard the footsteps come closer. I became more and more scared by the second. As I was waiting for the police to answer the phone, I heard the people breaking down the doors. The sound was growing louder and louder. "Hello this is 911 how can I help you?" the only word I could manage to say was "help". Suddenly, my bedroom door flew open. I screamed as one of the men grabbed me and yanked me off the ground. I could here the faint noise of the police on the phone. The man dragged me downstairs to the living room and threw me to the ground. A few minutes later, they threw Cherry down to the ground next to me. She was badly beaten and unconscious. "Well well well look what we have here fellas" I looked up and gasped. It wasn't him...it couldn't be him! "Sweet dreams, worthless brat" that is all he said before he brought his bat down to my head, then everything went black.
