Hibari was running around the town without destination.Sweat rolled down his forehead.Its almost night but there still no hint where Ryota is.

Hibari knew he should just asked the herbivore but something held him from doing so.His pride.His dignity as Namimori protector.As a responsible big brother.

He failed.

He failed again to protected his only brother.He such a failure.

Hibari stopped from his track.He look to the sky.So dark.

He dont know why but he deeply care toward Ryota.When he looked at Ryota,he saw himself.

The day his mother died to protected him from robber and got stabbed few times...the day his father died in an accident on the way to the hospital from work...everything happened in the same time....he was left alone with a loving grandmother....

And she died due to an illness...He never cried...not for once...

Because he knew it wouldnt solve anything.That's what his father told him.So he became stronger and tried his best to make Namimori a peaceful town.

Because...he regret for being a weakling.He just too weak to protected his mother.That's the reason for her death.

Namimori middle school was where his parents met...the playground was where his parents brought him every evening...the night festival where his parents always bought him takoyaki...

He want to keep those placed in a good shape...for his parents memory...He wanted to changed everything...

No one could change him until he met the boy.Everytime he looked at the boy,he understood the boy feelings.

It was hurt but they never cried.

However,the boy himself was betrayed by his own blood and flesh.Was treated like an animal.

He couldn't imagine himself in the boy shoes.

So,he wanted to protected Ryota.But at the same time he afraid to lost the boy just how he lost his family.

Hibari panting.His eyes wide opened when a familiar man stood in front of him without him knowing.

A man with pineapple hair style and a pair of heretochromatic eyes looking at him.They only an inch from each other.

"You look pathetic,kufufu"

Hibari narrowed his eyes and ready for attacked when the man hold up his hands in surrender state.

"Calm down,little duck.I don't have time to playing with you.Shusshh...
I have to find that person  as soon as possible"

An irked make its way on Hibari's forehead.But he let that slipped for now.

"You looking for a person?"

"Maa maa...are you interesting with my life right now,kufufu?"

"Just answer me you rotten pineapple"

Mukuro looked pissed but he knew better than started a 'world war' now.

"Nah...I feel a powerful illusion..but I can't trace where its come from...I feel it for about few hours.This illusion same as the fake Corvino Nono's flame"

Illusion?Kusakabe saw an illusiom of me back there...

Hibari looked at Mukuro in questionable eyes.

Mukuro arched his eyebrows and chuckles...

"You still don't know who your brother is right?"

And that gained Hibari attention.

Azuya wiped the sweat on his face with his hand.He sighed while looking at Ryota.

His body full with blood,scars and wounds....Few of his wound were bandage by his ripped shirt.

What have they gotten into?

Its already night.How does he knew when there no window here?Of course because he can see through the hole on the roof.

Ryota has fallen asleep.He must be tired.

Azuya felt a shiver make its way through his body when Ryota told him about his past.Mafia...wealth...power...

He never thought they someone cruel like Ryota's uncle family existed.And his uncle was just acting being nice all this time.

Azuya clicked his tounge.

Suddenly the door opened.Azuya in a state of cautious when he saw a teenager make his way into the room.

The boy with Ryota awhile ago.

"What do you want?"Azuya hissed.

The boy smirked and look his way to the sleep figure.

Azuya noticed it and stood up slowly.

Kanagi pull out a whip and walked toward Ryota.He ignored the other boy as he knew Azuya couldn't do anything to save Ryota.

Slowly and slowly...He raised his hand and...when he was about to hit Ryota...

PAK

A rotten chair make its way to Kanagi's back.

Kanagi stand still and slowly turn back.His eyes were shadowed by his bang.A smirked playfully plastered on his face.

He bored.He wanted to played.He wanted to hear scream and yelling.He wanted to see blood.

Azuya trembling on his spot.He swore he saw glint in Kanagi's eyes.

CLIK CLAK CLIK

Azuya flinched.But he cant do anything when a chain wrapped around him.And the chain came from Kanagi's hand.

Kanagi pull his right hand and thats make Azuya fall to his knees.

Azuya screamed when he felt his whole body burned.The chain has fire on it.

"Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh"

Azuya tried to escape but the more stuggling the more hot the fire.

Ryota jumped in his sleep whe he heard the yell and was shocked when he saw Azuya on his stomach with a chain of fire around his body.

Kanagi turned his attention to Ryota.Ryota trembling under his gaze.

"L-Let him go"Ryota whimper.

The chain suddenly vanished through the thin wind.Kanagi walked forward slowly to Ryota.

Ryota stood up and walked backward until his back touched the wall.Kanagi scanned Ryota from toe to head.

Then,he raised his index finger and motion his finger upside down.

Ryota was beyond shocked when he felt his body thrown to the ceiling and back to the ground.He can't felt anything.He felt numb.His body was controlled.

Blood oozing from his head.The old wound reopened.He whimper silently.

Azuya,with burned body stumbling toward Kanagi and kick him at the back.

However,something like that doesn't affect him.Kanagi slapped Azuya and step on his kneel.

Azuya screamed and screamed.The pain is unbearable.

Ryota begging for him to stop but he got kicked on the stomach.

Kanagi looked back at Azuya and raised his leg in attempted to kicked Azuya's head.

But,his leg stopped in mid air.

"Stop!!"Ryota shouted.

Kanagi looked at Ryota and he shiver.

'No...it can't be'He thought and stopped whatever he about to do.

He saw it.His eyes.Ryota's eyes turn black.

'Impossible....impossible...I knew it!He also has the dark flame...and...he possessed the shadow'

"I...I trained hard just to possessed the shadow but...but you...!Why did you get everything??!!!"

Ryota's eyes back to normal.He wonder why Kanagi screamed at him and what does he mean by possessed the shadow...

What shadow?

Kanagi stormed out of the room.Leave them behind.

Ryota snapped out to reality and approached Azuya.

"Are you okay,Azuya-nii?"

Azuya nodded.

"Let me see your wound"Ryota raised Azuya's shirt and shocked at what he saw.

"W-where the wound,Azuya-nii?"Ryota stuttered.He swore he saw Azuya got kicked on the stomach and his body get hit with a chain.

But,there were no wound or scar...just a scratch...and no blood.

Azuya looked at his body and also shocked.He doesn't felt any pain.

Then,he pointed at Ryota's feet.

"Ahh...Ryota!Where your shadow??"

Ryota quickly looked at his feet and saw none.His shadow completely gone.

He looked at Azuya but his shadow remain at its place.

The lightning from the moon through the hole make them see everything easier.And he saw his shadow before.

But-but now...there's nothing.

"Shadow...shadow..."He recall what Kanagi said.

Before that,he felt his body felt numb and light.Everything went dark.But suddenly he saw everything in red colour.Then,back to normal.

He felt...different.

"Azuya-nii...am I a monster?"

It take a few weeks to published this chapter.I'm sorry for the delay.I have an exam to sit so I am really sorry if it took long enough to published new chapter*bow*
