The danger is officially real.

This isn't a game anymore. Now our lives are at risk with every clue we discover.

We need to confront Mrs. Doyle if we have any hope of saving Georgie's mother and everyone else that disappeared.

But there are a couple of problems.
(A) We have almost nothing to go off of.
(B) We don't know how Mrs. Doyle will react, or what she will do once she finds out that we know.
(C) We have no help. No one can assist us. We're going into this completely alone. It's just the two of us now.
(D) One other thing. This is what happened after we ran down the stairs in Georgie's house yesterday to find her mother gone:

"Oh my gosh, Georgie. This is terrible," I remember telling her.

"Yeah."

But then I saw a new expression cross her face, like a dark cloud over the clear blue sky.

"But if my mom is Mr. Greene's sister, that means I'm his niece."

I hesitated. "Then..."

"I'm next," she finished. "I'm Mrs. Doyle's next target."

So clearly that's a problem.

But now that I remember it, we might be able to use it to our advantage. Just think about it: we know who Mrs. Doyle has her eye on now. We know she's coming. And we're going to do everything we can to stop her - before it's too late.

Georgie and I climbed out of my car after I pulled into a parking spot on Kate Mountain.

We knew that this was the place to find Mrs. Doyle, but we didn't know which house she lived in, so we asked around a bit until one of the neighbors could finally tell us.
"She lived in that log cabin, on the corner. Well, that's where she lived before she disappeared."

I walked up to the house, cleared my throat, and knocked on the door.

Without fail, the door swung open right after my third knock had resonated through the house, but there was no one on the other side. Hmm, odd.

Georgie and I crept into the house, and I called, "Hello? Anyone home?"

"Yes! Come in!" Mrs. Doyle's voice answered.

"Where are you?" I wondered.

"Right behind you, darling," she hissed before a sharp pain in my head made everything fade to black.
