Mari was preparing to go on an expedition with the other girls. She was putting her shoe on and it was difficult. "Come on! It's not like I have giant feet here!" She said as she tried putting her boot on standing up.

Ymir looked over and chuckled lightly at the goofy leprechaun. "You know, you could just do it sitting down." She told her as she was seated. Her bed was right next to Marinette who shared a bunk with Mikasa.

"And make life easy? Why would I do that?"

Ymir shook her head and after awhile they all had their gear on. They then got their horses ready and went off.

Later.....

Mari was up against a Titan and she hadn't provoked it this time!

Okay, maybe she did but she was getting it away from a fellow comrade.

She was running away from it and she was out of gas. "Great, perfect timing." She said sarcastically as she tried looking around to see how she could escape. She was stuck, there was nothing she could do.

Marinette looked around frantically as she tried finding a way to escape. She could try taking it down, but she didn't have anymore gas in her tanks.

But, no way was she going down without a fight.

So she went into a building to try to come up with a plan. She put her hair in a braid and she looked down and she saw her locket from her mother.

She couldn't leave them like this! But she didn't know what else to do.

Then, they came crashing down. The Titan caught up to her, and it knocked over the building she was in and a beam landed on her. And she had fallen down and she was impaled by something that was sticking out of the ground.

"Crap! This'll ruin my whole day." Mari commented as she was being crushed by the beam and she was had something in her abdomen as she grunted.

The Titan almost had her, but Eren as a Titan knocked it out of the way and killed the last of the titans on the expedition.

She got the beam off of her and she was on the ground as she was losing blood from the wound. It was deep, and she was getting even paler than she already was.

She looked over when she saw that Armin, Jean and Levi were there and the devastation of their faces as she laid there, she couldn't speak, at least not much. "Oops." She joked as she was laying there on the ground while Armin came over and lifted her up slightly and put her head in his lap. She grunted some, but not a whole lot.
