Contest 1: Results
Hello! It's the moment you've all been waiting for: the results! No matter if you've placed or not, every author who has entered their story into this contest deserves a huge round of applause. It's not easy to fit a story into a limited amount of chapters, and then have it judged. These stories have made it especially hard as they all had some sort of outstanding quality about them. So, no matter what the outcome was, everyone who has entered should feel very proud of themselves.
Before we get to the placed awards, I should probably get to the sub category awards. Unfortunately, we did not have enough stories entered in order to have any, but that's okay. We still had the People's Choice Award that was voted on. This award was voted on by people who didn't judge the contest, but wanted to see their favorite book so well.
The very first People's Choice Award goes to...
Training Day by @blue___22!
Congratulations!
Now, with that award out of the way, us judges still had to narrow it down to three stories. These three stories all received the highest overall score in the following categories: Grammar, Plot, Characters, Setting, Emotional Aspect, and Style. What are these three stories that ranked the highest?
Drumroll please...

Congratulations to all the winners of the first Clever Quill Contest. You've all made it a blast for me to host the first ever Clever Quill Contest with all your amazing stories, and I hope to see you all again in the next one.
Important notes to all participants.
Participants: Sometime this week, you all will be getting your scores from the judges compiled in a google doc in your messages from me. Please keep a look out for that. If you do not get your results sometime this week, please message me a reminder.
Stickers: My hopes is that we can go by the honor system here, that I post all stickers here and you only use the sticker that's meant for you (so if you've participated, but didn't win, you can use the participant sticker, that's it. If you won, you can use that placed sticker you've specifically won and the participant sticker if you so please). If I find out that you're using a sticker you didn't officially win, I will not use stickers again, so don't ruin it for everyone! You have a chance to win the next time.
All you have to do is save them to your phone, computer, or whatever you use and slap them on your book. How? I'm not quite sure. I usually use PicCollage and add it in that way. There's no wrong or right way of doing it. If you have any questions on how it's done, please PM me or someone who has done stickers before on their book to help you out.
Other Prizes: Alongside the results, sometime this week, you all still be getting PM'd on additional prizes if you've won some (as a refresher, these are for placed awards and can be found in the first chapter). So, again, if you don't get your information on this sometime this week, please message me a reminder.
Additional Information: I will be sending participants and judges a little survey about this first Clever Quill Contest for improvement purposes for the next one. If you are not a participant or judge, but would like to put in some input, please feel free to message me, and I will send you the link. Please have these surveys done by Friday.
Again, thank you all for participating, supporting, and helping out with this first contest. I can't wait to see you all for the next one. Until then, good luck on all your works and have a wonderful day!
