Hello everyone! Junie here with some important announcements about the very first Clever Quill Contest. I am so excited to for this to get started and hope you all are feeling the same.

Just remember, stories are due March 5th. That's a little over a week away, so you all have time to get those stories entered. We need at least 5 people to enter the contest in order for a contest to go through, so invite your friends because this is a great way to grow in your writing.

I'm so glad that I won't be judging this contest alone. My good friend, JustBluePanda , is another judge for this first contest. Since there is more than one judge, there will be more feedback given, and the results will be fairer. I'm so excited to have Panda on the team. If you want to be a judge for the first contest, please let me know by Thursday.

A commonly asked question is what genres are accepted. The answer to this is all genre with the exception of select fanfic. Panda and I have discussed this, and we've decided the only fanfics that we're both comfortable accepting for the first contest are Pokémon and My Hero Academia. I know that's not many; however, these were the only fandoms that we feel comfortable judging that overlapped one another. Remember, you can always write an original fic of any genre (fantasy, history fic, romance, etc). This is just in regards to if you're thinking about writing a fanfic.

Speaking of questions, I'm pulling together a chapter called "Frequently Asked Questions" or FAQs. This will be compiled of questions asked by spectators, participants, judges, even questions I have personally put in there to help answer questions people may have. If you have a question you'd like to have in there, that you're curious about, or even have, please let me know. I'll keep whoever asked the questions anonymous, not worries. This chapter will be uploaded no later than Friday. Questions asked after will be added in there ASAP.
