Valentine's Day is nearing and that means love is in the air! We all have someone close to us that we really love and enjoy to be with them, right? But what about the Doctor?

Prompt: The Doctor loves his female companions, but doesn't show it until the last minute. Your prompt to write this contest is to get your OC (Original Character) to tell the Doctor to tell his (at the time) companion that he loves them before the companion's time is over. The original character can be a human or any type of alien in Doctor Who - you choose!

This time, you're telling the story in 1st person (no 3rd person). You can choose from a wide range of female companions from any doctor.

Rules:

1. Entries must be submitted no later than February 27th, 2016 at 11:59PM EST*

2. Entries must be submitted by commenting with the link to your story or tagging it with #DWFanFicRecValentines

3. Entries must be a brand new story OR a new part of an existing oneshot collection.

4. Entries must not exceed 5000 words and can be either a oneshot or multi-chapter fic.
