As they planned for Gigantomachia's eventual arrival, Yaoyorozu laid out the plan to X-23 and the rest of the students present. The plan would be that they would subdue Gigantomachia and use an anesthetic to knock him out. To counter his massive size, Yaoyorozu creates tons of cannisters filled with the sedative using her Quirk. As they put Yaoyorozu's plan into action, Juzo uses his Softening Quirk on the grass floor while Mineta covers it in his Pop Off balls. During this, he becomes concerned with Midnight.

Mineta: Do...do you think she's still alive?

Mina: She'll be teaching us cool stuff before ya know it.

At the same time, Wolverine arrived. 

X-23: Dad! 

Wolverine: We've got trouble heading our way. What's the situation here?

Yaoyorozu: We've got a giant Villain heading our way. We've prepared for his arrival.

Wolverine said nothing as he glanced towards the direction where Daken and the rest of his Villains were heading from. All he could do at the moment was help them fight Gigantomachia. Yaoyorozu uses her Quirk to create explosions to throw into the mud pile, while Setsuna keeps watch, warning them of the beast's fast approach. It wasn't long before Gigantomachia came into range, causing him to trip and fall right into their mud trap. As Gigantomachia starts to slowly sink, several of the students proceed to use various whips to grab onto his neck in an attempt to force his mouth open. 

Wolverine: HIT HIM WITH EVERYTHING YOU GOT!

The students then begin throwing their canisters toward him, but he simply blows them all away, sending a hurricane of air toward the students. Dabi follows suit by shooting his fire toward them, burning the forest area around them.

Wolverine: DON'T LET THEM SPLIT US UP!

Gigantomachia began to escape and slowly make his way forward. He throws a punch towards Jiro and a group of students. But before the punch could land, X-23 began slashing at the giant's hand with her claws, forcing him back. At this point, Gigantomachia begins to slowly escape the trap.

Kendo: Oh, no! He's crawling outta the trap!

Mineta: Crap! What're we supposed to do?

Yaoyorozu: I placed bomb beneath the mud. That's our plan B. If we bury him deeper, maybe we'll take him!

Yaoyorozu then detonates the bomb, causing the explosions underneath to go off, trapping him once again as he sinks downward. More Heroes arrive on the back to attack the League, while Mountain Lady returns to grab Gigantomachia's head and pry his mouth open, having realized the students' plan. Mina attempting to throw a cannister at Gigantomachia, but something distracts her, prompting Kirishima to intervene. Without hesitation, X-23 grabs the cannister. 

X-23: RED RIOT! THROW ME! 

Kirishima then lifts up X-23 and throws her towards Gigantomachia. She lands on top of his head and lifts the cannister.

X-23: Open wide, bub!

X-23 then punctures the cannister with her claws. As the cannister was punctured, the sedative begins spilling out of the cannister. At the same time, the students students on the ground shoot a barrage of missiles from cannons at Gigantomachia. Juzo uses his Quirk to put out the fire. It wasn't long before Gigantomachia appeared to pass out. Soon enough, Majestic approached them.

Yaoyorozu: The more he moves around, the quicker the sedative can kick in

Majestic: Nice job, Momo! I knew you had this. You're an impressive young woman!

Yaoyorozu: Thank you, Majestic. But I can't take the credit alone. It was because of everyone here that we were able to execute it.

Jiro: Don't sell yourself short, Yaomomo.

X-23: She's right. It was your quick thinking allowed you to take him down.

Yaoyorozu: We wouldn't have been able to get to that point if you didn't show up and warn us about the Villain. We would've been taken completely by surprised.

It was at this point that Wolverine approached them. He didn't share the same enthusiastic expression as Majestic and the other heroes. 

Wolverine: We're not out of the woods yet. Right now we've got trouble heading our way.

X-23: What kind of trouble?

Wolverine: Daken as well as a few of my other Villains. They're coming here right now and they're out for blood. Mainly yours and mine, Laura.  

Upon hearing this, X-23 clenched her fists. A part of her was glad that Daken was here. This meant that she would have the opportunity to exact vengeance on Daken. But Wolverine knew what was coming and he didn't know if X-23 and the other students were ready to face what was coming. Meanwhile, Gigantomachia began to stir.

Gigantomachia: The insignificant pests keep coming. I won't waste any more time on them.

It didn't take long before everyone noticed this.

Wolverine: Shit....

Wolverine glances to where Gigantomachia was and could see him moving. At the same time, he picked up several familiar scents closing in. It was in that moment that Wolverine knew that Daken and the others were closing in.

Wolverine: We've got company. 

X-23 stepped forward with her claws out. She could pick up Daken's scent. Wolverine could see the seething anger on X-23's face. But the threat of Daken would be overshadowed by Gigantomachia. 

Majestic: Hold on!

Gigantomachia then transforms his body and breaks free. This prompts the Pro Heroes to attack Gigantomachia while the students were in complete shock by the change in events. With that, Gigantomachia had changed his course and began making a run towards Jaku City. In that moment, the city of Jaku was in danger and it was up to the remaining Heroes to take down this colossal Villain before he hurts any innocent people.
