As Wolverine and X-23 found themselves facing Daken as well as Toga and Twice, the Clawed Heroes unsheathed their claws. Daken chuckled as he unsheathed his claws. 

Daken: I must admit, I was not expecting a family reunion so soon. 

Wolverine: Laura, we'll take him together.....

X-23: I'm taking him now!

Wolverine: Wait!

Wolverine's warnings fell on deaf ears as X-23 lunged at Daken. Daken easily countered X-23's attack by impaling her with his claws. He then throws her against a wall and attacks her. Before Wolverine could step in, Toga and Twice stepped in and attacked Wolverine. 

Toga: Oh my gosh! I can't believe we're gonna fight Wolverine! Though I have to say, you're a lot shorter than I expected. 

Twice: Manners, Toga! It's not is fault that he's short! 

Wolverine: I'm not in the mood for this shit, so I'm gonna give you one chance to stand down. So if you want my advice, I suggest you take it. 

Without warning, Toga jumped on Wolverine's back and began stabbing him with her knife. Wolverine's healing factor allowed him to brush off the attack. 

Twice: Hey! That's no way to treat a lady, buckaroo! I thought you Heroes were taught better!

Twice then attacks Wolverine with his measuring tape. Meanwhile, X-23 found herself being pummeled by Daken. X-23 manages to use her foot claws to slash Daken's throat, forcing him to briefly retreat. As X-23 bounced on her feet, Daken's wound healed and assumed a combative stance. 

Daken: You disappoint me, sister. I would've thought you would at least attempt to learn something new. 

X-23: You and I have unfinished business, you son of a bitch! 

X-23 growls as she hurls herself at Daken. A brutal and bloody brawl ensues between X-23 and Daken as they slashed at each other. After a round of brutal slashing, X-23 and Daken stared each other down while their wounds healed. 

Daken: It looks like you have learned something. A pity that it won't help you!

X-23: You'll find out I'm full of surprises! 

X-23 once more lunges as Daken, landing several devastating slashes, but Daken kicks X-23 in the face and impales her in the stomach. X-23 retaliates by kicking Daken in the stomach with her foot claws. Meanwhile, Wolverine held his own against Toga and Twice. 

Wolverine: What the hell is the League of Villains doing in the Shie Hassaikai?!

Twice: We've got some unfinished business with Overhaul! But it looks like you're about to get to him first!

Wolverine: And how does Daken fit into all of this?!

Toga: We actually don't know! We just kinda....ran into him. 

As Toga said that, the entire building began to rumble. Wolverine's senses told him something was very wrong. Before he could act on those instincts, Twice attacked Wolverine with the measuring tape. It was at this point that Toga jumped Wolverine's back and stabs him in the side with her knife. Wolverine roars in pain as he fights Toga off. As Wolverine begins to bleed, he growls softly as his wounds heal. 

Twice: We're in deep, are we?

Toga: Don't worry, Twicey! Things are about to get even more crazy!

Meanwhile, X-23 continued battling against Daken. Despite her best efforts, Daken proved to be the superior fighter. Soon enough, Daken grabbed X-23 by the throat.

Daken: This is disappointing, sister. At this rate, you'll never beat me. 

Suddenly, a loud childlike scream was heard as Gabby lunges at Daken with one claw protruding from each hand. 

Gabby: LEAVE HER ALONE!

Daken was taken aback as Gabby stabbed Daken repeatedly with her claws. The sudden attack from Gabby forced Daken to let go X-23. Despite being shocked by Gabby's appearance, X-23 pressed the attack on Daken. Soon enough, X-23 pushed Daken back into the hallway where Wolverine was fighting Toga and Twice. Suddenly, the entire building began to shake violently. The ceiling began to cave in. As debris collapsed on Wolverine, X-23 and Gabby, Toga and Twice ran off while Daken stayed behind. But after a moment, Daken walked away. When the shaking stopped, Wolverine and X-23 hacked their way through the debris. 

Wolverine: Is everyone alright? 

X-23: I'm fine. 

Gabby: I'm safe!

X-23: What were you doing here?! 

Gabby: I heard you were in trouble! I had to help you! 

Wolverine: Let's discuss this later. 

With that, Wolverine and X-23 begin attempting to track down Daken as well as Toga and Twice. Gabby had joined them in their search. Their search soon led them to the roof, but Daken as well as Toga and Twice were gone. 

X-23: Damn it!

Wolverine then contacts Aizawa. 

Wolverine: Aizawa, we encountered the two League members, but they got away. Daken was with them. How are things on your end?

Aizawa(Communicator): We've secured the Compound. We've captured Overhaul and his chief lieutenants.

Wolverine: What about that kid you mentioned?

Aizawa(Communicator): She's safe.

As Wolverine talked with Aizawa, X-23 turned to Gabby.

X-23: What the hell were you thinking?! 

Gabby: I had to help you! You saved my life! I want to help.

X-23: I.....I......

X-23 sighed as she sat next to Gabby. 

X-23: I know you want to help, but....

Before X-23 could finish her sentence, Wolverine stepped in. 

Wolverine: We've done all we can here. The Pros will wrap up the rest.

Gabby: What about me? 

Wolverine took a moment to think on what to do with Gabby. It was clear that her shared DNA with X-23 technically made him his daughter. 

Wolverine: Laura. What do you think? 

X-23 took a moment to think on Wolverine's question. In simple terms, Gabby was just like her: someone who was created for the sole purpose of being a weapon. For her, the answer was simple. 

X-23: She needs a home. I....I think we can give her that. 

As X-23 said that, the biggest smile fell on Gabby's face as she hugged both Wolverine and X-23 tightly. In that moment, Gabby had gained a family. With that, the Hero Raid on the Shie Hassaikai was a success.
