1 | Day 1
Now that the Bloodbath is over, many tributes choose to distance themselves from the Cornucopia.
**Dragon's note: the arena map is a 7×7 grid matching the original territory to the best of my ability, so directions are relative to my grid and not necessarily the canon map.
Emberfox turned west and continued traveling most of the day. By evening, she had reached WindClan camp, where she chose to stay.
Blizzardwing decided to stay where she was and spend the day hunting, since she had no items. Unfortunately, she could not find any prey.
Squirrelmoon had the same idea. Unlike Blizzardwing, however, Squirrelmoon got very lucky and caught a medium prey!
Ivytail traveled east along the Thunderpath until he reached the edge of the arena, then turned north into ShadowClan territory. When the sun started going down, he stopped to open pack #7, unveiling a large prey!
Bluewind continued running until he reached the western edge of the arena, then traveled north. He made it all the way to Highstones before stopping.
Eagleflight traveled south, but gradually veered west and ended up in RiverClan territory.
Acornheart doubled back on his own path to check if he was being followed by any other tributes -- he was -- and immediately turned around to travel deeper into WindClan territory.
Nightwhisp was already pretty far out in the arena, but continued traveling in the same direction anyway. She soon reached the Twolegplace and the edge of the arena. Instead of changing direction, she spent the remainder of the day testing the barrier for any weaknesses (but found none).
Silverclaw realized that many of the tributes were heading in the same direction as her, so after a long time of deliberating she turned back and wandered back to Fourtrees, hoping that the area would be empty now.
Echoflight turned south and traveled all day. When the sun began setting, she had made it to Sunningrocks.
Skyfall figured she was in a pretty good spot by the river in the heart of RiverClan territory, so she decided to explore the area. Instead of any useful items, she found Eagleflight! The two tributes immediately faced off in battle.
Although evenly matched, it seemed that the element of surprise gave Skyfall the upper paw. She skillfully landed multiple hits on Eagleflight before the other she-cat could fight back. Eagleflight managed to strike a forceful blow to Skyfall's side, but her opponent didn't waste any time before catching Eagleflight's scruff in a lethal grip and dealing the killing blow.
A cannon sounds. Eagleflight is dead!
Bluedawn left Fourtrees and started traveling south, then west along the river until she reached the gorge. As the sun began to set, Bluedawn stopped to rest and open her packs. Pack #1 held reinforced claws, which she immediately equipped to increase her fighting power. The rest of the packs (#2 through #5) yielded two prey traps, two tribute traps, two small prey, and two water packets. It seems that Bluedawn is carrying all the traps in the game. Good thing she has an intelligence strength!
Cherryblaze spent the day travelling east. Although she didn't make it very far, she did pass into RiverClan territory.
Foxrunner didn't feel like travelling very far from Fourtrees, so immediately after the Bloodbath he took a look at the content of his packs. He ended up with a pretty good stock of supplies: medium strength herbs, two weak herbs, a medium prey, two small prey, and two water packets. Feeling set for the games, Foxrunner decided to try his paw at tracking. He headed south, keeping all of his senses alert for other tributes.
It didn't take long before Foxrunner saw Cherryblaze coming in his direction. At the sight of the other tribute, he had a moment of doubt, but he had the element of surprise on his side. Foxrunner snuck up on the unsuspecting Cherryblaze and leapt on her with claws outstretched. He was able to some heavy damage before his opponent could fight back. Cherryblaze was not a strong fighter, but she was better than Foxrunner, so when she managed to get her footing back, she held her own. It was a bitter battle. Finally, when both cats were within an inch of their lives, Cherryblaze managed to deal the final blow.
A cannon sounds. Foxrunner is dead!
Severely injured, but alive, Cherryblaze gratefully took all of the items from the fallen tribute, including the herbs she would need to heal herself.
Sunglow, just like Silverclaw, realized that many cats were going west, so she turned around and walked back to Fourtrees. Unfortunately, there she found Silverclaw! Both cats hesitated when they saw each other, wondering whether or not they should fight. Finally, Sunglow unsheathed her claws and Silverclaw answered with a threatening hiss before they met each other in battle.
Although Sunglow was stronger, Silverclaw's resilience helped her hold out and land a few hits. In the end, though, Sunglow's battle prowess was too much. Injured but victorious, Sunglow stepped back from Silverclaw's limp body.
A cannon sounds. Silverclaw is dead!
Embermoon travelled faithfully north until he reached the Carrionplace. As the day was drawing to a close, he decided to stay there for now and eagerly opened his packs. Pack #6 held strong herbs, while packs #12 and #13 held a medium prey and medium herbs, respectfully.
Junipermask decided that finding prey was her first priority and spent the day hunting. She got lucky and caught a medium prey!
Robinthroat traveled faithfully east and finally stopped at Snakerocks.
Amaryllissong saw Highstones up ahead and didn't want to be caught in such a dry area, so she turned and travelled straight south for the entire day. Just as the sun was setting, Amaryllissong crested a gentle hill and found WindClan camp - and Emberfox with it. Neither tribute wanted to fight, but both were too tired after a long day of travel to run away. After a long, tense stalemate, the two she-cats agreed on a very uneasy truce and they each settled on opposite sides of the camp.
Lilyblaze continued travelling west, but after a while her course diverted north slightly. At sunset, she found herself at the western edge of the Thunderpath.
Duskpetal travelled straight west until she reached the twoleg barn at the edge of the arena, where she chose to stay for now.
