Only 6 cats remain in the arena as a new day dawns grey and cloudy.

Ravenwillow drank from the river next to him and then ate half of his medium prey, keeping the rest in his inventory. He wasn't really sure what else to do. He felt quite safe on his edge of the arena, he knew what was around him and had access to water, and so far he hadn't seen any of the other tributes. So, for lack of anything better to do, he went hunting and caught another small prey. 

Feeling ravenous but exhausted after an entire day and night of hunting with no results, Troutdip dragged himself over to the hidden pond and took a drink, then passed out from exhaustion at the edge of the water. 

Nectarsting was both hungry and thirsty, but the slight wounds she still had from her battle a while ago worried her more than her other needs. She spent the day exploring for herbs, and finally, she was able to find small herbs! She used them to treat her scratches and let out a sigh of relief. 

Dawnslash started off the morning by treating her bite wound from her fight with Duskstone. She had plenty of herbs, but didn't really know how to use them, and ended up wasting her small herbs and part of her large herbs before she managed to successfully treat her wounds. Next, she wanted to catch some prey to put her back at full strength in time for tomorrow. However, while she was hunting, she stepped on a cleverly hidden wire - and then screamed as a trap sprung up around her. Dawnslash was killed in the tribute trap that Duskstone had set days ago. 

A wolf howls. Dawnslash is dead! 

Snowpatch drank from the river and then spent the day traveling north, crossing the river and heading into WindClan territory. 

Waspthorn drank from the nearby river and then went hunting all day, hoping for some prey. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to catch anything today.

The number of living tributes are rapidly dwindling. Even the strongest have no guarantee to survive. Not even StarClan knows what will happen next. There was 1 death this chapter.
