Okay, so, one of my best friends dislikes the Beatles severely- and, I mean, usually I would become a raging bitch and freak out-

But, who am I to judge?

Right?

Besides, shouldn't people be allowed to have their own opinion?

I mean, I'm not a huge fan of Axl Rose- and, that's just my opinion.

Of course, if YOU do like Axl, I'm not going to give you the cold shoulder and be a jerk.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Which got me thinking,

I remember numerous people who would tell me they liked Steven and Aerosmith more than I,

And they would bombard me with facts, trying to one up me basically.

Of course I would get a little jealous- and, if I spoke of my discomfort, I would get flipped out on!

Like, seriously, remind me to never share my likes with you again- that way you don't become obsessed with the same, and treat me like crap. 😂😅

Then again, we are a FANDOM! Why can't we all appreciate each other's different likes and similar likes? With respectful moderation?

You know?

I mean, yeah, some of us like the same things, some more than others- but, we're still a fandom.

For example, Paul McCartney was attractive in his 20, 30, etc.

But, many other people agree with me- that doesn't mean I'm going to try and one up them. I don't know a lot about Paul!

But, I know a LOT about Steven (my husband) Tyler.

Seriously, ask me anything about him- I know the answer. (Once again, not one upping, I'm just teasing. But, I do know a good deal of info. c: )

Also, Bowie- there are a lot of fans out there.

I like Bowie, I know a bit about him- but, so does CRooster ! (My best friend.)

I would never one up her about that!

I guess it just stresses me out that some people out there feel the need to one up, and steal your thunder. *sigh*
