Chapter 33

A/N: Vote and comment?

Layla's POV

I clenched my fists, looking at my mother with pain in my eyes. I started to breathe heavily as I felt the anger course through my veins, and the pit of my stomach. Sometimes I couldn't help but feel like as if I was overreacting.

At least me and the child get to share the same dad, if that is a perk.

Michael and all of his siblings began to get up slowly, setting down their popcorn. I could feel everyone looking at me, trying to make an exit. I turned around abruptly making Janet curse to herself.

Got you.

I couldn't blame them for wanting to leave, this is an awkward moment. "You guys can stay in here if you want." I told them, tugging the hem of my shirt.

Tito shook his head smiling. "No we're cool, I think we should go right everyone?" He pointed at all of his siblings.

They all shook their heads, agreeing simultaneously.

I took a look at my mom and she had a look of sadness in her eyes, but not regret. I smiled at her softly, letting her know that I couldn't be mad at her much longer, this wasn't her fault.

She walked towards me slowly, holding out her arms. "Give me a hug you twit." She smiled.

I laughed at her remark, and embraced her tightly. "I love you mom." I snuggled her close.

She sniffled, rubbing my back. "Nakupenda Pia." She giggled.

I could hear Michael's sisters cooing, and Randy crying.

Again.

I let go of my mom, and looked at everyone. "Okay you guys. Now that everything is out, who's trying to get hype!" I cheered, putting my fists up.

Rebbie snickered. "Layla, word on the street is, the new word is turnt up, or lit." She informed.

Michael scoffed crossing his arms. "Word on the street is that you're a ho." He smiled.

I bulged my eyes and my mouth went agape. All of Michael's siblings looked at Rebbie, instigating and getting Michael's head full. We all were busting into a fit of laughter as we watched Rebbie. I smiled slowly crept on to her face as she tried to stay mad.

At this point all the adults left, and it was just the children.

The laughter began to die down slowly but surely. I have to admit, I sure did enjoy these peoples company.

Michael sat up from one of the bean bags that were on the floor and set his popcorn to the side. He walked over to me, and I just smiled.

He held my hand, and looked deeply into my eyes.

Ugh, he wants something, and I know it.

"Baby?" He whined.

Awe shit.

I rolled my eyes laughing. "What do you want?" I tucked one of my stray hairs behind my ear, as i anticipated his answer.

He smiled hard, knowing that I'll do anything for him. "Can you get me a sandwich from the subway up the street?" He giggled, kissing my cheek.

I shook my head. "Fine. Do yo-" I was cut off by Tito speaking.

"I want a sandwich too." He Chimed in.

Janet held up a finger. "Me too."

Randy did one of the most cheesiest smiles I've ever seen. "And I know you didn't forget about me." He laughed.

I sighed heavily looking at the rest of his siblings. "And what do y'all want?"

Marlon, Jackie, Jermaine, Rebbie, and Latoya shook their heads, declining my offer.

I shrugged. "Okay, well y'all better not ask for a bite of my sandwich." I smiled, grabbing my purse of the dresser.

Michael wrapped his arm around my wrists as I struggled to grasp my purse fully. I looked at him with a confused stare. "Let go of my arm you little fuck." I laughed.

He shook his head. "Stop cussing like that." He laughed. "And here." He handed me a 50$ bill.

I pushed his hand away declining his money. "I'm not taking that."

He opened my hand and placed the 50$ in my hand. "Yes you are, and if you try to decline it, I'll go with you without a disguise and get you swarmed." He threatened.

I stepped closer to Michael inches away from his face. "Is that a threat?" I said smarty.

Tito put his fist on his mouth. "Oooooooooooo!"

Michael stepped even closer, centimeters away from my face. "No, that's a promise." He said seriously. He placed the fifty between any space we had between our lips.

I took the bill out of his hand and growled. I'll just get my purse, and put his 50$ back in his wallet. I walked over slowly to grab my purse but it was already gone. I looked at Michael who was waving my purse back and fourth, taunting me.

"Bye." He mouthed.

I shook my head at him. "what about what you want on your sandwich? What do y'all want? Baby do you want the regular?" I asked him, tucking the bill into my jeans.

He nodded affirmatively. "Yeah, just recite the regular. Lemme see if you remember." He sat down on his bean bag, and attempted to cross his legs.

I growled rolling my eyes. "Sweet onion chicken with lettuce and tomato. But the lettuce has to be at the bottom because you don't want it to be soggy. Banana peppers, onions, salt & pepper, oil and vinegar, sweet onion sauce, ranch, and bacon. No mayo, and no mustard." I told him.

Michael nodded his head slowly smiling.

I looked over to Tito, Janet, and Randy who wanted a sandwich as well. "What y'all want?"

All three of them licked their lips at Michaels sandwich choice. "What he's having." They all said simotaneiusly.

Jermaine, Jackie, Rebbie, and Latoya butted in. "We want what Michaels having too, except I want mustard on mine." Latoya spoke up for her other siblings.

I nodded at her choices. "Okay, well who wants to come with me." I smiled cheekily, lifting one leg.

Tito pointed at all of his siblings. "You see us? We are all faaaaaammmmous." He talked to me like I was an idiot.

I picked up one of the pillows that were on the floor and threw it at his face. "Hush fool." I laughed.

He picked the pillow back up and attempted to throw it at me, but I dodged it. I ran out the room smiling making my way to the front door.

Once I walked out I was greeted by the Suns very bright rays. I kind of regret wearing jeans now. I picked Michaels phone out of my pocket that he told me to take. I looked at it hardly, trying to find the on button. Once it turned on. The phone read 6:55pm.

I tucked the phone back in my pocket and walked out of the Havenhurst's gates. Quite quickly, I made it to the subway Michael was talking about. Once I walked in, the cold air quickly chilled my skin. The aroma of the store smelled like a fresh deli shop. The best part was, there was no line. Only a couple of people walking around.

I walked up to the sandwich builder, if that's what you call them, and told her what I wanted on the sandwiches.

She pointed at this fancy rack with bread in it. "What bread would you like?" She smiled.

I remembered the bread Michael told me to get. "4 honey oat footlongs, with everything I told you to put on it, but make sure one of them has mustard." I smiled.

She nodded, and began to make my sandwiches. She called two other people to help her to make the process go by quicker. Soon enough, they wrapped all of the sandwiches and put them in neat little bags. She typed the numbers in, with the extras, and specifications of course. "That will be 24.60$" she smiled.

That's highway robbery, what in the yellow fuck?

My mouth, whoops.

I pulled out my crumpled 50$ and handed it to her. When I reached it out, she snatched it harshly. I scrutinized her, wondering what she did that for. Maybe it was an accident.

Like her.

She pulled my change out the cash register, and snatcher the receipt. "Your change is 25.40$ have a good one." She immediately looked away from me once the change was in my hand.

Once she was out of site, along with other staff, I took one of the cups behind the register, and walked over tot the soda machine. I filled it up with my favorite mix, Powerade, Hi - C, and Sprite. Too bad they don't have koolaid dispensers here. I turned around to rush out the building but I bumped into someone, making my soda spill all over my shirt.

Fuck.

I looked up to see a fairly tall, or fairly short black girl with beautifully kinky curly hair. Her big brown eyes looked up at me, and I began to sympathize her.

She shook her head, tucking her hair behind her ear. "I'm so sorry, I really didn't mean to do that." She used her spare napkins to wipe up the juice that I spilled on the ground.

Just when I thought things could get worse, the rude lady from the register came back, with this male worker. "Hey." She pointed. "I didn't give you a cup!!" She mugged.

The guy scratched his head, looking at the girl besides me. "I didn't give her a cup neither!"

I looked over to the girl who helped pay, and she shrugged before whispering something to me. "Girl run!" She bellowed, grabbing her sandwich and two cookies.

They jumped over the counter, starting to run after us. "You have to pay!" She screamed.

I ran quicker then I ever did before, with this girl right besides me. The wind tickled my ears as I ran in the opposite direction, leading say from Michaels house. I ran further, dogging a weaving elders, and children on the sidewalk.

This lady was quite large so she lost breath, and flicked us off before retrieving to her weak work place.

Me and this girl walked into a Starbucks coffee shop, it was quite pretty. Never seen these is Kenya either.

We went to the back where these booths were, and it was the perfect place to sit down and cool off.

I looked at this girl finally, about to start a conversation. "Hey, this is a weird way to meet someone, but my name is Layla." I held my hand out for her to shake.

She raised her brows, astounded by my African accent. "Cute accent. Oh and the names Alaysia." She smiled, then winked.

I winked back, getting comfortable with this girl. "Cute name." I laughed.

She smiled at me, wiping the sweat beading on her forehead. "Thanks."

There was a small pause before she spoke again. "Damn, we finessed that hoe." She laughed.

I raised one of my brows, drinking whatever little was left in my cup. "Finesse?" I questioned.

She got up, and sighed. "You got a lot to learn little jawn, where's your place?" She laughed.

I scoffed playfully. "Girl, I don't even know you like that. Tell me about yourself." I grabbed her arm, and sat her back down in the booth.

She grunted playfully before speaking up. "I'm Alaysia, I like Popeyes, I'm 23, and I'm a bad bitch." She crossed her legs. "Anything else you need to know?" She smiled cheekily.

I shook my head, laughing. I just adore this girls character. She's just like me, and she cusses like a sailor.

I think we are going to be great friends.

I shook my head again at her question. "Nope, cmon." I stopped in my tracks before I got up. "But wait, we friends right?" I asked seriously.

She opened some gum, and placed it in her mouth. "That's right little shawty." She giggled, nudging me. "I spilled that juice all over your shirt, and we ran together. Being friends is the least I could do to repay you." She told me honestly. "And here is some gum." She handed me some mint gum.

I grabbed from her, placing it in my mouth. "Thanks girl, but the people I'm friends with, you have to promise me that you will treat them the way you treat me. They are different." I gulped.

She gasped, opening her mouth. "Are they special?" She placed her hand over her mouth.

I laughed loudly at her reaction, linking arms with her. "Very."

Michaels POV

I pushed Janet upside her head, as I struggled to win in Mario bros 3. In the back of my mind was Layla, she was taking quite long.

I miss her.

Janet shook her head at me, recrossing her legs. "You're a little cheater." She told me, hopping on a mushrooms head.

I smiled at her, then looked back at my map. My brothers were cheering me on as me and janet tried to defeat bowser, it sure was hard. Why is he so large?

I smacked my lips at the sight of loosing my last defense. My flame balls that I could throw at him. Janet still had her level up tho. She had the invincibility colorful shield stuff.

I got back I got back into the game, pressing my buttons aggressively. Finally, bowser fell on his back and collapsed.

I set the controller down, while my siblings cheered loudly for me, giving me hugs. I know it may not seem like a big deal, but we've been trying to beat this level for years.

Randy hugged me the tightest making me giggle. Right before anything else happened, I heard the front door open. I let go of everyone and skipped happily, going to greet my beautiful girlfriend.

I made my way through the halls and through the living room. Once I made it to the front door, I stopped in my tracks to see some girl who was looking down at her shoes. I turned around quickly and quietly, trying to find a paper bag. I saw one on my dresser and quickly put it on my head.

Layla sighed heavily, before laughing. "Michael, this is Alaysia." She looked up from her shoes, but quickly frowned at the bag on my face.

She raised a brow, squinting her eyes. "Nice to meet you?"

I smiled through my bad "nice to meet you as we-" I was cut off by one of my brothers.

Tito cupped his mouth, putting his head to the side. "Damn! Who is this cutie patootie, with a lot of booty?" He smiled.

I shook my head blushing, he is so embarrassing.

Her mouth went agape at the sight of my brothers and sisters who were noisily following me. "Are y'all the jacksons?"

They all nodded, but Janet stepped forward to shake her hand. "I'm Janet." She smiled.

She put her hand out shakily, as Layla gave her a stern stare. "I am aadiyah, no Asia, no, Akesha, no um, wait." She put her hand on her neck.

Layla spoke up for her. "She's Alaysia." She put her hands on her shoulder.

Layla's POV

Alaysia sighed he heavily, making her way into the kitchen, getting comfy already. "I need a drink, this is too much." She sat on one of the stools by the bar.

"And Michael, I know that's you under the bag, you can come out now." She giggled.

She turned around on her stool, as Michael took off the bag. Her eyes bulged brightly, because she thought she would take it well. Matter a fact, she began to melt in her seat.

"Let me properly introduce myself. I'm Michael Jackson, this is my family, which you seem to know already." He giggled shyly, meeting new people.

She stuttered on her words. "I she, but. Can you be my dad?" She covered her mouth, quickly realizing what she said.

We all laughed loudly, including me. Michael blushed hardly, covering his face for a quick second.

She sweated profusely under everyone's gaze. "No, I meant did you write badddddddddd?" She dragged, making her point.

Michael nodded quickly. "I sure did."

There was quite a long silence at Michael answer. We awaited Alaysia to speak.

She nodded smiling. "Well damn, it's about to get active in this bitch." She laughed.

I laughed loudly, along with Michael, Janet, Rebbie, randy, and Tito. The feast just giggle occasionally.

Janet pointed at Alaysia. "I swear, I'm going to like you." She promised.

Alaysia began to get comfortable with everyone so everyone made their way to a seat in the living room.

My friend began the conversation. "So, Janet, I swear I was scallped when you preformed do You Want This. I've never felt so shook."she fangirled, using all these terms I don't know.

Janet flipped her hair, smiling. "Oh thank you, and I like your top it's cute." She complimented, pointing at her top.

She looked at her shirt. "Oh thank you girl, it was cheap too, DD's discount is your best friend when you in a budget." She told her, crossing her legs.

Janet scoffed playfully, agreeing. "You right, like where's the lie." She giggled.

Randy yawned quite loud and obnoxiously along with the other boys. "Y'all are so borin-" Randy was cut off by my mother walking into the room with more paper work.

She looked at everybody, but stopped at the sight of Alaysia.

Alaysia spoke up, greeting my mom. "I'm Alaysia, but you can call me laysia, or whatever you want." She smiled warmly.

My mom waved at her. "Hello sweetie, you got to tell me what hair regimen you use, my split ends are not cute." She laughed.

laysia winked, clicking her tongue. "I got you." She smiled.

My mom ever tee her attention to everyone else. "So, I just got back from the small clinic up the street. Now, I thought I was just gaining weight, but that was my baby bump!" She cheered. "I'm far along enough to know what we're having." She smiled.

Michael came behind me kissing my head.

Alaysia raised her brows and winked at me. "Chop it up" she mouthed, making chopping motions.

"What is it?" We all asked simotaneiusly.

My mom smiled brightly before speaking. "It's a boy!" She cheered.

Alaysia stuck her tongue out and cheered. "I believe that this news deserves some major turnupage." She told us.
