Laylas POV
I stood in my seat in complete shock, however a feeling of revenge pulsated threw my veins, and madness fogged my brain like a cloudy day.
I brought my fingers into a fist, and gritted my teeth. I turned around quickly and kicked down the car door. Without any second thoughts, I ventured my way back into the cold reserve looking for my bastard father. My boots crunched against the rubble and shells beneath my feet. I brought my scope up and got in a squatting stance; attempting to avoid any casualties.
I began to squint my eyes very harshly trying to find my way through this death house. I stepped over an abundance of copses that laid sloppily on the ground with blood coagulating on their heads. I have to admit, this envoi rent was quite wretched, even before the war even started.
I was walking further however, when I got ready to turn the corner, something grabbed my shoulder forcefully.
I turned around swiftly aiming my gun at the perpetrator, however it was just my little handsome; Michael with a worried look on his face.
He was shaking his head frantically. "Baby, you really shouldn't be out here, it's late and their might be people crawling trying to murder You and my family. Let's get out of here while we still can, and you can do what you want tomorrow." He cupped my face looking deep into my eyes. I bet he could feel the heat that burned in my heart at the moment. "You've had enough today." He tried to convince me.
Michael leaned in kissing my nose, and I absolutely melted at his gestures. They are so innocent. I nodded looking up at my handsome baby. "Okay, I'll go-" I was cut off, and Michael let go of me.
I turned around to view what made him so uneasy and turn around abruptly. Michael aimed his gun at this person, and shot quickly. They collapsed to the floor, leaving a trail of blood on the wall as they slid. I turned my flashlight on my scope and pointed at this figure.
I gasped and covered my mouth. I looked over to Michael shaking his shoulder violently. "Michael, you just killed my father." I sobbed.
Michaels eyes bulged largely as I told him what he did. His eyes shined with sympathy and immense guilt. There was a very long and dismaying silence that was between us, and the tension was like an ozone barrier. I stared bleakly at my fathers corpse.
Michael shook his head, tears threatening to fall from his eyes. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and began to call someone.
I sniffled lightly. "Who are you calling baby?"
He shook his head. "An ambulance." He stated plainly.
I wiped my face of any tears. "Okay, just make sure that you tell them that this man isn't my dad, and I'm lying."
Michael nodded quickly, taking in my information vaguely. "Okay." He paused scrunching his brows.
He hung up the phone immediately and scrunched his eyebrows together. He shoved his phone to the bottom of his pocket, and proceeded to look at me. "What?"
I giggled pushing his shoulder. "I'm sorry." I laughed.
Michael began to brighten up. I saw a smile creep on his face. Before I could say anything else, he picked me up bridal style; earning a squeal from me. "Michael, why did you pick me up?" I wrapped my arms around his neck, looking at his side profile.
He shook his head. "Cause baby's need to be picked up."
I stuck my tongue out at him. "But I'm your baby so." I smiled.
He stopped in his tracks and looked at me intensely. He kissed my forehead, and continued to walk. "You're right baby girl." He smiled.
Michaels POV
I continued to carry my beautiful girlfriend through the rest of this death house, nearing the van. As we got closer, I could see my family awaiting out side of the van chit chatting, and recapping what just happened.
Once me and Layla got a little closer to the van to go home, Marlon started to ask questions.
He patted my arm. "You alright bro, what did you find?" He interrogated.
I shook my head smiling at his concern. "Nothing, just another lame." I explained, casually.
He wiped his fake sweat off his head. "Okay, good." He told me before he went back in the van.
"It's getting late out here we need to get on home." My mother told us all.
Janet scoffed under he breath crossing her arms. "Yeah, I don't want anymore casualties."
We all giggled lightly; yet nervously at her remark.
I went up to Janet and gave her a tight hug, and messed up her hair.
Its always messed up.
"I'm so glad your alive. You're my little dunk of chicken." i smiled down at her.
Layla scrunched her brows as the smile slowly crept on her face. "You and these nicknames." She laughed.
Janet spoke up. "I'm, saying." She shook her head.
Randy held his arms up. "Okay, alright, hurry up. Momma food is collecting flies right now." He told us.
I shook my head. "Maybe Bill is eating it." I crossed my arms.
Layla shook her head as well. "Same thing." She smiled. "He look like a fly." She giggled, joking.
Me, and the rest of my family instigated what Layla said, throwing our "ooo's" out there. I put my fist on my mouth, along with everyone else.
Rebbie took her fist out of her mouth to speak. "I'm telling Bill." She taddled.
Janet spoke up as well. "Don't tell on my girl Layla Rebbie, I haven't told anyone those aren't your real bangs." She put her hand on her hip.
My eyes bulged twice its size, along with Layla's. Marlon, and Randy instigated this scene as well.
I snickered at Latoya. "She heated you up, like a frozen dinner." I laughed.
Rebbie pushed my arm playfully. "You can't talk, with them tracks in your head mike."
I flipped my hair. "I am all natural baby. You wish you could grow some bangs." I smiled.
Layla wailed her arms in the air. "I guess everyone is going to be roasted." She laghed, cleaning off the leftover blood on her gun.
Tito cocked his gun. "Roast me if you want to." He had this, tough look on his face.
My dad smacked Tito upside his head taking his look of fierceness right off his face. "Put that gun down boy, before you hurt yourself." He snickered.
Tito shook his head, putting his assault riffle on his strap. "The only person that's going to get hurt is the one who tries to roast me. The titonator." He pointed his thumbs towards himself.
"Spell it." All of us said simotaneiusly, even Joseph, my mother, and ms. Nancy.
Tito scratched his head. "Um, T-I-T-R." We cut him off, bursting into a fit of laughter.
I wheezed, clasping my stomach while Layla was on my side holding on to my shoulders gasping for air. I glanced up quickly to see My parents and Layla's mother laughing together, and my brothers and sisters feel on to their knees, gasping for air from there hardcore laughing.
My family.
The laughter slowly died down. A couple of occasional giggles split the air, then it came to comfortable silence, which didn't really last that long.
Layla's POV
Michael mother clapped her hands in the air grasping our attention. "Okay, my children, we really need to go, it's getting quite dark out here, and I'm tired." She explained.
We all nodded at her explanation. Marlon walked over towards the van, opening it for all of us to get inside. Slowly, all of us collected into the car, finally when Marlon got in, he closed the door.
The driver, who was patiently waiting on the side before, when me and Michael's family were having fun; is now driving.
He revved up the van, and swerved quickly, driving over a curve. We all shook slightly, but we were fine.
We were all quite beat, but Michaels family was the first to fall asleep.
My mother quickly followed, leaving me and Michael awake on our own.
Randy was snoring quite obnoxiously, and Janet put her foot on my lap, getting quite comfortable. Joseph, and Ms. Katherine were snuggled up in the seat behind me, Michael, and janet. Rebbie, and Latoya were laying down on each other. And my mom and Michaels brothers were all knocked out in the back. It was quite a peaceful sight.
I sighed, taking in what appears to be my family. However this muse was interrupted abruptly when Randy started snoring even louder than before.
Michael rolled his eyes, reaching into his back pocket, pulling out some duct tape. "I got it." He stretched out the tape.
He got up softly, moving into to back seat. He put the tape over Randy's mouth, but put his finger in between his lips, putting a gap, so he could breathe better.
I smiled at his kindness, even when no one was watching. Integrity at its finest.
But he still duct taped his mouth.
I giggled to myself, as Michael made his way back to his seat.
He looked over to my direction and took my hand bringing it up to his soft, plump, feathery lips.
I shook my head smiling brightly at his unpredictable gestures. "What was that for?" I smiled.
He raised a brow. "I'm giving you affection and attention, every queen deserves it. Especially my african queen." He put his large hand on my head and brought it towards his lips.
I was kinda in a bad spot because Janet's foot was in my lap. I moved it back over to her seat so she was sitting straight.
She stirred lightly, and repostitined herself in her seat. Once she stopped moving, I turned my attention back to Michael. He seemed to be in deep thought.
I tapped his shoulder lightly, breaking him away from his muse. "You okay baby?" I rubbed his arm slightly.
He smiled brightly. "Yeah, I'm okay. I was just thinking about that picture. My family, and your family laughing, winning Janet back, and I didn't kill your dad." He pretended to wipe the sweat off his head.
I pointed my finger in the air. "Look at God." I laughed.
He giggled with me, taking my hand in his. "Layla, truly, and honestly, I love you, and adore you. I'm just so infatuated with you, I'm sorry." He shook his head. "I just feel the need to tell you, I don't know." He rubbed the back of his neck, getting embrrased.
My heart burst with millions of butterflies, each time he told me he loved me. The way he spoke, so gently; with elegance, it took my breath away. He articulates his words so smoothly like butter, and I swear I melt every time he speaks, or breaths. I didn't know you could be so In love with someone, to the point every mere thing that they do makes you smile, joyful, or even turned on. I could tell what he was feeling by just staring into his eyes, or even touching him. I know that he taps his nose or chin when he's nervous, and I can feel his energy when he's joyful or depressed. I could feel him, and I hope he could feel me.
Gosh, I'm so in love with this man, good lord.
My thinking was cut off with Michael grabbing the side of my face softly. He moved closer to me, meeting his lips with mine. His lips were so in sync, and so smooth. I synchronized my lips with his, grabbing theHe ended this short lived kiss, by smiling on my lips. He pecked my lips once more before pulling back. "Don't worry, I can feel you Layla." He winked.
How in the cottage cheese, how did he hear my thoughts?
He grabbed my hand once again. "Because, when you're thinking about something with great importance, it slips your mind that you speak your thoughts into existence. I notice many things about you. Like how your eyes sparkle when you're excited." He grabbed both of my hands this time, facing me in his seat. "Or when you smile like a maniac when you're extremely mad." He kissed my nose, making me giggle. "Or when you're turned on, your breaths become shorter, and you pant, and twiddle your toes." He moved closer to my face. "You also clutch your legs tightly, like how you're doing right now." He looked down at my legs that were shut tightly.
I shook my head, pushing him away lightly. "Okay, you caught me." I held my arms up in fake surrender.
He shook his head lightly, but his eyes sparkled, and he jolted in his seat.
He got an idea, awe.
He pointed his finger at me. "Babygirl?" He smiled.
I smiled, rubbing his leg. "Yes baby?"
He looked down. "Do you know the words to Candy Rain by Soul 4 Real? I wanted to sing it with you." He giggled, blushing slightly.
My eyes bulged at that song. "That's my song Michael, of course I know I know it. I'm down to sing it with you." I smiled brightly at him. "Sing the chorus with me, then you sing the first verse? I need some pass time because I'm not sleepy." I rolled my eyes.
He nodded at my plan. "Okay deal."
Me and Michael started to him the beginning of the song, with the cords.
"I dedicate this song to my beautiful girlfriend." He told me before singing.
"My love, do you ever dream of, candy coated rain drops, you're the same, my candy rain." He held my face sarinating me.
"Have you ever loved someone, so much you'd die. Give them so much of yourself, it seems the only way. Tell me what you want and I, and I will give it to you. Cause you are, my love." It felt like he was telling me this honestly, I could feel my wimpy ass tearing up.
"Do you, ever, dream of, candy coated rain drops. You're the same, my candy rain. My love, did you ever dream it could be so right, I never thought that I would find all that I need in life. All I want all I want, all I need, now I know, I know I found it in you, cause you are my love." He stared deeply into my soul.
He stopped singing, and regained himself, realizing he was singing quite loud. His brother in the backseat were the only ones who stirred lightly in the back.
Michael blushed looking down. "I'm sorry doll, I got really into it." He whispered.
I scoffed playfully, crossing my arms. "Stop with all these lovey do very nicknames. Real niggas don't do this." I laughed.
Michael laughed extremely loud, making everyone jolt from there slumbers.
Michael was clutching his stomach, and wheezing hard. I was just wondering what I did.
He was gasping repeatedly. "You said neega." He laughed.
I shook my head, I completely forgot my accent.
Marlon giggled lightly, along with Janet before shutting there eyes. They all stirred in there seats before resuming their sleep.
I crossed my arms, feeling a little upset. We'll sort of, I didn't know I sounded like such an idiot.
Michael quickly stopped laughing, to notice I was dead silent. He shook my arm, trying to grasp my attention, but I flinched at his touch. "Don't touch me, you ballsack."
He shook his head at me. "It's a little unfair that you think that just because I have a ballsack, doesn't mean I am one." He joked.
I scoffed. "You are what you eat."
He scoffed back. "Wouldn't I be a pussy then?" He retorted.
I gasped and covered my mouth, hoping no one heard that, but one person did.
"Ain't that the truth." Tito said under his breath.
Michael turned around in his seat to face Tito. "Go back to sleep Tito." He turned around and sat back in his seat.
He scoffed before speaking. "What a shmuck." He scoffed again rolling his eyes. "Dimwit."
I watched silently, giggling while he said obscenities to himself.
"We're here." The driver slammed on the brakes, stopping at the Havenhurst's gates.
Me and Michael un buckled our seat belts, and turned around in our seats. I got on my knees, and out my hands on top of the head of the seat. I looked back to see everyone knocked out, including Tito. They fall asleep quite quickly.
I sighed heavily, running my fingers through my hair. "How the hell are we supposed to get all these people into the house?"
Michael cracked his knuckles before speaking. "Like this." He cupped his mouth and began to yell.
"EVERYBODY, EVERYBODY WAKE UP. RIGHT NOW, WAKE UP, WE ARE UNDER ATTACK." he screamed at the top of his lungs.
Everyone tossed and turned from their seats, grabbing their weapons from their hostesses. They all aimed in different directions.
Once they realized that there was no actual threat, they sighed in relief, yet annoyance. They all put their guns away before cussing Michael out.
"Why in the hell did you do that Michael?" Janet cursed, rubbing her temples. The rest of Michaels siblings, and our parents chatted and mumbled angrily.
Randy had a frown on his face. He looked down at his lips and ripped the tape off. "And why in the blue fuck is there tape on my lips?" He quizzed.
Michael was laughing, enjoying himself. "Alright, let's go home, I want some chicken top ramen." He licked his lips.
My legs clutched together when he did that, maybe it's instinct?
Michael noticed obviously, and he patted my leg. He looked up and winked at me.
Sweet cornbread.
I laughed nervously, and opened up the car door on my side. Quickly, all of us started to empty out of the car. Randy was the last one to get out, and he was still rubbing his lips.
"Tape?" He asked himself quietly.
I laughed and began to walk towards the gate. Latoya and Rebbie were already in front of the gate, typing in some codes, and greeting the guards.
Which they probably don't even need after today.
We walked in, and strolled towards the door which was a few feet away. All of our feet crunched the cement, and gravel beneath our feet. There was this beautiful pathway to the door.
Ms. Katherine and my mother were yawning quite repetitively. They must be quite tired.
When we walked in, the lights automatically tuned on without anyone touching them. This was quite a beautiful house, now that I have the time to actually look at it.
Ms Katherine, and Mr. Joseph set their guns on the countertop, leaving on of the maids quite confused.
Randy leaned towards me to whisper something. "They don't want to know, and if they ask, they're paint guns."
I nodded at his explanation, and ideas. I put one of my hands on the side of my mouth. "With a lot of red paint."
Michael nodded agreeing with us. "Ain't that the truth." He said above a whisper.
"Alright children, the old adults are going to catch up the right way, and go to sleep. You guys stay downstairs, and don't be to loud. " she pointed at all of us.
"Yes mom." We all said simotaneiusly.
My mother spoke up from behind the jacksons. "Layla sweetie." She called.
I walked up towards her. "Yes mama? "
She clicked her tongue pointed at me. "Usiku mwema. Nakupenda. Hawana kuwe mbaya sana, sawa?" She told me.
I held my arms up in surrender. "Sawa, sawa. Goodnight to you, and nakupenda pia." I walked closer to her, giving her a tight squeeze, wished her a goodnight.
I was completely un aware that all eyes were on us.
Once I pulled away from my mom, I blushed slightly. Everyone had fascinated looks on their faces, while others were just tired.
Ms. Katherine smiled brightly, and Michael spitted the image of her. "What a beautiful language, what did you say Hun?" She asked out of pure innocence and curiosity.
Joseph shook his head. "Stop being nosy woman." He scoffed.
Katherine was going to explain her self, but I looked at the both of them. "It's okay, she said not to be bad, she loves me, and she said goodnight." I said honestly.
Katherine sighed smiling. "Okay sweetie, well I'm mighty tired, thank you for getting my daughter back, I don't know how to repay you." She shook my hand, then kissed my cheek. She had this motherly essence to her, it radiated off of her, and I completely adored it.
I shook my head. "You already repayed me, I actually owe you." I smiled.
She raised a brow smiling. She put a hand on her hip. She is so adorable good god. "How so?"
I turned around and scanned the room, I saw Michael drinking a cup of water, looking at family photos. I grabbed his large warm hand, and he set his cup down on the nearest table. He was obviously confused, but he'd know what I was talking about later.
I presented Michael in front of his mother.
"Hey mom." He waved. He looked back at me, having a questioning look on his face.
I patted his back and winked at him before looking at ms. Katherine. "You see this kid right here."
Marlon put down his can of beer before speaking. "You mean dork?" He tried to take a sip from his beer again, but Janet elbowed him, making it spill on his shirt. Latoya, and Tito giggled at the site, and so did I.
I turned back to talk some more. "Well, this dork is how you repayed me. Thank you for creating such a warm, tender spirit he not only made my life better, but touched millions of hearts and lives; but he touched my heart expecially. Thank you, I can't thank you enough for making such a large blessing." I shook her hand this time, and kissed her cheek.
She grabbed my forearm, and I grabbed hers, leaning back.
"You're a sweet joyful spirit, and after what you've done today, welcome to the family. The Jackson family." She shook my shoulders gently.
I let go of her forearms, and gabbed her hands giving them a gentle squeeze. "And you're always welcome to be in the Osodo family if you'd like."
Joseph smiled at this sight but he yawned quickly. "Thank you Layla, really. But I'm welcome to my bed, come on Kathy."
She smiled at me one last time. "Goodnight Lay's" She winked.
"Goodnight." I smiled at the mention of my nickname.
The jacksons, and my mother walked through the living room, into the hallway. Once they were completely out of site, I turned around. Michael was tearing up, and so was Janet, Latoya, and Rebbie.
They boys were just laughing, and making fun.
"What's wrong mike?" I took his hand.
I looked over to Janet, toya, and Rebbie. "And what's with you guys."
Michael used his hand, so I could face him and not his sisters.
"Score 1 for mike whoop!" Marlon chanted.
Janet elbowed him again. Then sniffed her tears, wiping her face.
Michael broke the quick silence. "I've never had someone do that for me, care for me to that extent. Layla, do you realize what you just done?"
I shook my head, not knowing what's going on.
He kissed my forehead, and began to speak. "You showed me off, when no one told you to. You made me feel things I haven't felt before. You saved my sisters, trained them to fight, and use their knowledge about guns to their best ability and for good only. So to sum up what you did, you made my life brighter, and honestly, I can't wait to marry you." He confessed.
My eyes bulged at the sound of marriage. His words touched my heart, and it touched his sisters too.
But from afar, I could hear one of the boys sniffling. I saw Randy crying loudly.
Janet handed him some tissues. "Here fool."
Then, Marlon smacked him upside the head. "Stop crying nigga. Damn." He sighed laughing.
I laughed slightly before waiting Michael, who was tearing up smiling. His eyes were quite glassy, and honestly, I love how emotional he is for some reason. It fits him. But if it was a grown muscular body builder who eats rocks, I'd feel quite different.
I embraced him tightly, rocking him back and fourth. "I can't wait to marry you too, be Ms. Jackson." I whispered, rubbing his back while his chin rested on my shoulder.
Randy interrupted again, making this moment fade. "Hey that's my song y'all, let's take it from the he top, one, two, three." He counted down. "I'm sorry Ms. Jackson." He sung, throwing his hands up insinuating that he wanted us to sing.
I cupped my mouth, and Janet threw her tissue box on the floor. "I am forreal! I didn't mean to make your daughter cry, I truly apologize." We all sung in unison.
We all sighed in nostalgia at the small moments we share. I truly do love this family.
Latoya came back with a handful of clothes, sweatpants, basketball shorts, and tops. "Y'all change out of these dirty clothes, and wash your faces." She giggled.
She threw me some black shorts and a black halter that I brought in my bag, because I was told we were spending the night anyways.
Michael got some black basketball shorts, and a black t shirt to match me.
Everyone else got a mixed array of sweats, tops, undershirts, and spaghetti straps.
Everyone changed in front of each other, I guess we all earned this respect and bond with each other. No one really looks at me in a sexual way here, maybe that one fine ass sister, but that's it.
I folded my light purple top, and what used to be my light blue jeans and grabbed grocery bag out of the cabinet in the kitchen.
Michael came towards me and handed me his clothes. "Can we share this bag baby?" His soft voice, asked.
I nodded and took his clothes out of my hand. "Yeah sure." I smiled, looking up at him.
I put his clothes in the plastic bag, and so did the rest of his siblings. Randy led the at to the laundry mat, and we all put our dirty clothes in the washer.
I was searching for the soap. "Jermaine, where's the soap?" I put my hand on My hip.
Michael patted my head. "You're so blind, it's right above you on the shelf." He laughed, pointing to the soap.
Janet winked at me. "I'll buy you some glasses next paycheck Lays." She got the soap, and waved it in my face.
I snatched the soap out of her hands smiling. "Gimme that." I laughed.
Everyone emptied the Laundry mat after I put the soap in. I pressed heavy cycle since everyone's clothes were in there. I picked up the ripped grocery bags, and put them in the trash can by the dryer.
I turned of the lights, and proceeded to the living room.
I saw everyone snuggled up on the floor with the t.v on. Some of them were on couches, and there were giant pillows, sheets, and snacks on the table.
I had a feeling of nostalgia rush over me. It reminded me when all my cousins came over, and we all wanted to stay together but we all couldn't fit in one room, so we went to the living room, and we'd do all types of fun stuff.
I sat down my randy, Michael, and Janet. Clearly, my faves right now. They were parked by the coffee table, and they were watching Moesha on late night BET.
Rebbie clapped her hands twice, getting our attention real quick. "Y'all, I got the tea." She squealed.
Janet stuffed her face with popcorn, and her eyes shined with curiosity.
Michael took a sip of his root beer speaking. "Decaf tea, or caffeine?" He raised both of his brows smirking.
She waved her hand down, nonchalantly. "Just decaf." She smiled.
I clapped smiling. "I love tea, what favors do you have, like blueberry? We drink milk tea in Kenya, it's delicious." I smacked my lips.
Latoya rubbed my hand gently shaking her head, and I was quite confused. "Layla, no. When she's says tea, she means the gossip, or the news. And decaf tea is kids news. And caffeine tea is grown folks news. But in this case it's kids news, so we say decaf." She explained.
Randy snapped his fingers rolling his eyes. "Yeah, catch up girlfriend." He faked a flamboyant tone.
Marlon sat up from the floor, and smacked him upside the head again. It's always randy getting smacked upside the head , geez.
I nodded catching on to American slang. "Okay, well what's the news." I laughed.
"They have this new some, called You Was Right by some guy named Lil Uzi. Apparently he's what's hot right now, all over America, and some parts of Europe." Rebbie explained, looking at her phone.
Jackie snacked on his Doritos. "Sounds like a dumbass nigga."
Janet rolled her eyes. "Reb, that's old news. I know that song." She told us. "Matter a fact, we all of us know this song don't we?" She looked at all her siblings.
They all were silent. I swear I could hear crickets, but it was just randy playing cricket sound effects on his phone.
I giggled at him. "You're a fool randy."
Janet snapped her head at me. "Do you know the song? It's fun, and refreshing to listen to new school sometimes." She confessed.
I was kinda sitting in Michaels lap. He held on to my hips, drinking his soda. "Janet, if you want to feel young again, listen to the famous flames, Wilson picket, or hell Mozart." He laughed.
His brothers laughed with him, mans their laughs carried since some of them had deeper voices then others.
Tito was snacking on his ruffles. "Good one mike."
Janet rolled her eyes, and grabbed my arm, yanking me off Michaels lap. She looked at me before speaking. "Don't make me feel dumb for listening to some new school, do you know the song?"
I sighed looking down. "Yes, because Kenya likes to keep up with American trends, so yes. I do know that song Jan." I laughed.
Everyone gasped, and randy gasped the loudest and most dramatic. But Randy's will be Randy's.
She sighed in relief and picked me up so I was standing by her. "I'm putting the song on right now." She pressed the cd into the player on the stand next to the couch were Marlon was.
The beginning of the song began to play, and I got nervous began I know she was about to ask me to-
"sing it with me." She pleaded, grasping my hand.
I sighed, and gave in. "Fine. It's a dirty song so y'all beware." I turned around pointing at everyone.
Finnaly, Lil Uzi Vert began to sing, and I sung with Janet. I really like this song, so I began to sway my hips, getting how the new kids say,
Lit.
I pointed at Janet singing the lyrics with her, and she danced with me, everyone looked bewildered as me and Janet enjoyed the song together. It is a breath of fresh air, even if new school is complete nonsense, it's great nonsense if that makes sense.
"Yeah alright alright alright, you was right and I was wrong, yeah I should've never ever took her home, yeah." I sung part of the chorus.
"I should've just boned, yeah, fantasy on phone." Janet sung recklessly.
I put my hands on my knees, and began to move my booty. Kids call it twerking, but in Africa we say move our diaper. Rebbie was laughing at my twerking but Michael seemed to be enjoying it, he was drooling actually.
He set down his soda and got behind me, so I could shake something on him. I guess everyone was feeling it, because they got up and started dancing too.
Randy was off beat doing the funky chicken, Marlon and Tito were doing the cabbage pass, Latoya and Rebbie were twerking piping each other up, and Jackie and Jermaine were just hyping the whole crowd, this has officially turned into a Jackson function.
While I was twerking I guess, Janet and I sung the rest of the chorus. "Hit it from the back watch a nigga bless you, you all crying on my arms like a nigga wrecked you, talking bout a broken heart running to the restroom."
I guess some of the gents could relate to is because they've had plenty of groupies do this to them.
"Hay now , get it Janet." I gassed her up a bit. She was full blown twerking, doing her thang.
I picked up my glass bottle of Sprite and held it in the air, letting Janet dance on me. I was laughing recklessly, having a great time. Since Latoya was up to date with most technology, she posted it onto her private snap chat. And Marlon and Jackie took pictures, smiling with everybody having just a great and fun time.
And without liquor, just soda.
Janet got off of me, and I danced to the other part of the song, dancing on Michael once more.
"Looked at my momma just like we rich. Looked at my bitch like we rich. Said we ain't got no minor setbacks. Counting all that money told that nigga just to bet that. I, I know that you ain't got it boy why you ain't just say that. They see I got that money, now his bitch like I said that. I don't pay that hoe no mind I been had that." I moved my diaper in a circular motion, getting lower and lower, Michael just didn't know what to do with so much booty. I got lower and lower, and he fell on the ground laughing.
I picked him up, and we all created a circle. Randy off course got in the middle, and began to twerking, or at least what he thought it was,. Him and Michael were just bringing their backs in wards and outwards. The rest of us were laughing quite loudly, I hope ms. Katherine and the rest of the bigger adults don't shut this down.
Since we all caught on to the chorus, we all sung it together. Dancing, and hyping each other up. I swear, new school is probably the only music that can hype you up this bad.
"Yeah, alright, alright, alright. You was right I was wrong. Yeah I should've never took her home, yeah, I should've just boned, yeah, I should've just boooooooned, yeah, fantasy on my phone." We sung, pointing at each other, and doing obvious moments for each word that he said.
Me and Michael pretended that we had microphones singing to each other, while everyone else sung the chorus in different ways. Michael in particular sung this part to me, jokingly. "Hit it from the back watch a nigga bless you." He laughed loudly, not taking himself seriously.
Jackie patted Michaels back. "You sure did bro. " He joked.
Me and Latoya sung the next part together. "Why you crying on my arms, like a nigga wrecked you, talking bout a broken heart, running to the restroom. Yeah."
Everyone else made room in the circle for Janet to sing the next part, and everyone was hyping her up, getting her gassed up.
Janet began to do silly dances kicking her feet up and down. "Even though we in the same room. You just locked the door so I gotta text you like bae unlock the door I gotta use the restroom. Like, I don't want a war I want to caress you, yeah. Yeah alright alright alright you was right and I was wrong yeah I should've never ever took her home, yeah, I should've just boned, yeah." She sung that harder part, giving us leeway to sing the chorus.
"Fantasy on my phone!" Randy screamed.
We all looked at him because he was the loudest.
Then we all proceeded to sing the last part of the long. "Hit it from the back watch a nigga bless you, why you crying on my arms like a nigga wrecked you. Talking bout a broken heart running to the restroom. Yeah." We all sung the last chorus, and listened to the hype cords, fade slightly, until the whole song ceased.
Jermaine held up his arms. "That was totally awesome, like gnarly dude, like totally. Fuck yeah." He spoke like an urban white guy.
Janet laughed at him, as did the rest of us. We were clearly out of breath from dancing really hard like that.
We were all chit chatting and complimenting each other on our dance moves.
"But y'all Layla was doing her thang. Did you see the way she broke mike?" Latoya said, pointing her thumb at Michael laughing loudly.
Michael got extremely red. "I tripped on a pillow Okay?" He giggled, putting his hands on his hips.
I laughed pointing at Janet, giving her praise for the stupendous booty shaking she did. "But Janet, she was shaking her diaper good. I see you boo." I held out my hand for her to high five which she did.
Jermaine scoffed. "And she better be only doing it at home, and not on some strangers either.' His over protective brother side came out.
Michael snickered. "Word." He raised both
I raised both of my brows, scoffing. "You guys are extra sleep, did you see the way Randy and Michael was popping their backs like that. I swear I was going to faint from the turntness." I pretended to faint slightly.
Michael and Randy pointed at their bottoms. "We get it from out momma." They stuck out their tongues.
Janet laughed, putting a hand on her hip. "Beans and rice didn't miss y'all." She pointed at them, with her free hand.
I laughed at Michael, crossing my arms. "Please Janet, his booty is playing hide and seek."
Everyone in the living burst into a fit of laughter, telling mike that he just got heated up, and dragged and all that. I couldn't help but laugh along with everyone.
Once the house was quiet, with occasional giggles, and exchanging of smiles, Michael said something.
"My booty is playing hide & seek? Well so are your edges." He told me, snapping his fingers.
"And her eyebrows." Randy added.
This time, everyone was laughing at me loudly. I'm super surprised that we didn't wake our parents up. Latoya leaned over to me whispering something.
"You've just been snatched." She told me before laughing loudly.
I scoffed and rolled my eyes giggling. Jermaine, and Marlon were on the floor clutching their stomach.
I guess Michael felt like he's on top of the world since I've been 'Snatched'. Finally the laughter died down again, but this time, people took their seats back on the floor and the couches.
Janet turned off the lights, and sat besides me Michael, and Randy.
Marlon turned on the T.V and it was 4:00am. We've been up for a while. He turned it to nick toons, and they were playing re runs of ren and stimpy. We all sat in comfortable silence.
"I'm, assed out, like literally." Janet told me.
I scoffed smiling, spooning with Michael. "You and me both." I told Janet.
Randy and Michael hopped in to our conversation. "Us too!" They told us in unison.
"Y'all need to be quit, if anything. You're backs should be hurting." Rebbie told them.
That made the rest of us giggle a bit.
After a while were all watching Ren a Stimpy argue, and I could feel my eyelids getting droopy.
"Goodnight everyone." Jackie said from atop of the couch, since me and Michael were cupcakes up on the floor, with Janet and Randy.
We all wished each other goodnight.
Most of them watched tv till they fell asleep, but some of them fell asleep right away. I turned around and buried my face into the crook of Michaels neck. He held my waist tightly, and used his other hand to bring the cover on my shoulders, so we were both comfortable.
He kissed on top of my head. "Good night my queen, I had fun today." He could feel him smiling, even though I couldn't see him.
I brought my face away from the crook of his neck, and kissed his lips ever so slightly. I smiled against his lips, and went back down to his neck, where it was most comfortable. "Goodnight my king. I had fun too." I giggled.
I could hear Michaels heart beat in his chest. His chest began to heave, and his breathing got slow and light. I know he was asleep because I could hear his soft snores.
I then knew it was my turn to go to sleep as well. Michael scent from his shirt surely enough calmed me down all the way. I could feel my eyelids getting heavier as sleep take over me, I fell asleep with a smile on my face, knowing that I'm going to wake up to some great people.
And with that, I drifted off into a deep slumber, entering a series of great dreams, that were based off of the events that happened today. I could finally have some sort of peace.
At least for now.
Yall, I'm seriously about to die. This is the longest chapter that I've ever written in my life. It was 7,217 words. I am literally so done. This was like 2-3 cheaters in one, because each of my cheaters be 2,000 to 3,000 words. I really hope it guys liked it. Please vote and comment. A nigga is tired, shit.
But I have enough energy to do question of the day.: what did y'all think of the chapters? And what is your fave color.
Idk I just want to know more about y'all.

Okay but forreal, I need to wash my plate out, and take a shower. I love y'all like forreal. And good luck to those who start school tomorrow. I feel your pain.
