Chapter 1 ||Meeting The Pines|| [Edited]

Your POV

I was inside the Nightmare Realm, my dad's home, Bill Cipher. Flying around to whatever I might end up to since this home of ours is just so endless and empty at the same time, I grew bored of being trapped here.

Every single day, I just lay around and thinking about how I'll torture people. I mean, Ciphers are a menace. The demons around here are SUPER booring. They laugh at me just because Bill Cipher's child is a girl!

Well, Veronica's a girl! She just..doesn't act like one very much. I have a brother too, my twin brother. Will Cipher. Only it has been decades since he left, he was a sadistic but funny demon, unlike the others here.

Let's just say..something had pushed my brother to leave and it is a family secret now. Dad acts like he doesn't even exist.

I'm bored. There were no interesting dreams to ruin today. Everything was plain old, ugh, why do I have to say that word? Normal.

The next thing that I didn't expect was a flash of light appeared before me. An eye opened, prompting several glowing yellow lines to form itself into a triangle.

after that transformation, the triangle turned into my dad. "Wo-ho-ho! Hello there, daughter! You couldn't believe what just happened!" He exclaimed, yelling so proud. I rolled my eyes since it's just so laughable to see him blabber about everything.

Unfortunately, just as expected, he noticed my eye-roll. "I saw that eye-roll, young lady!" He slashed his cane at my noggin, leaving me to scrape it. "Are you even interested of my sucessful achievements?"

You chortled, "dad, what you call 'sucessful' is what I call 'laughable'." You teased as your father grew an playful hone.

He then abruptly gave you a noogie, "come here, you little snitch! You're the first child and you're like this!"

"First child? What about Will?"

"Who?"

"Uhm, Will Cipher? My twin brother?" Bill paused in a shock, but then shrugged it off as usual. "(Y/n), I have no idea what your talking about!"

He swooped himself away from me and said, "I made a deal with this incredibly stupid person. And I feigningly said that he'll never be bothered by anyone, and guess what?" Dad queried, transforming to his human form.

He doesn't much show his human form to mortals 'cause when he's in his triangular form, he'll be more terrifying and people would fear him more.

"What? Tell me." I querued, grinning. Even though at first I was joking, I wanna hear what happened. The human world sounds terrifying (awesome)!

'Cause I love it when I hear people screams. All that torturing, so enjoyable! I love my dad's work, he also hoped that I would follow in his foot-steps and become like him.

But well, I'm just a learner no less. But soon I'll become like him, a powerful creature! "He accepted! Then once he shook my hand, he was locked up! He was like.." Dad stopped, grinning widely as his coat tail and hair turned blue and made an illusion of blue shackles locking his hands.

"..Help me~! Help me~! I'm trapped here~! Blah, blah, blah blah! Yadda, yadda, yadda, yadda!" Dad mocked as he flail his arms around with the chains and shackles emitting sounds.

He cackled hysterically with a synthesized voice and so did I. "So.." he briefly paused as he snapped his fingers, turning his back coat tail and hair back to the way it was before! Yellow!

He wielded his cane around in the air and used it to stand, as he straightening his posture. "How's it been, (y/n)? Have you been bad? Have you ruined someone else's dreams? Have you tortured a mortal? Or have you been making illusions of a face that's always screaming at mortals?" Dad creased a mischevious grin as he lifted his hat, then placed it back again.

"Actually no, there were no mortals to harm today.." I countered back in a dull monotone.

"Hmm, well, you are right." He tapped his chin, but then slithered a nasty smirk. "What do you say we scare someone for a little while?" He leaned in, "together as daughter and father?"

"No thanks, but..I would like to maybe kill a human!" I could've sworn my father nearly choking in a shock with that, but stays his cool.

He sticked his tounge out playfully to prevent that from happening and makes his recent choking a bluff to make his image crueler. "That's my girl! Daddy's little girl, alright!" He exclaimed, prompting my brows to furrow since he called me little.

I hated that. Ever since I was a demon child, he's been calling me that. He even called Will, Willy. Which really angers him, but I wonder what my brother's doing now?

"But nope, you're too young for that!" I snapped out of thought as I heard my father, "you just have to be a thousand year old demon if you're intending to kill a mortal, and you're too naive. You still need experience. Sustaining something horrible like being trapped in this stinkin' dimension for thousands of years..? No?"

"But I am a thousand year-old dream demon--"

"Nu-uh! No exceptions!"

"I can handle myself. I'm not so little anymore.." I grunted in annoyance, folding my arms.

He morphed into his triangular form. "Relax, I just don't want anything to happen to my little girl." And he didn't listen, he always doesn't. That's actually one of the reasons why Will left. I should've followed him. I miss my loving and caring brother.

"Anyways, gotta go! Reality is waiting! And Remember! Reality is an illusion, the universe is a hologram, buy gold, bye!" He enacted a dramatic exit, before disappearing in a flash of light.

That quote of his is so tiresome. I'd rather die than hearing it again. I countinued to linger around the ream, but stopped when I saw my dad's orb. He uses that to see or watch over mortals and other random stuff.

He usually uses it to watch over his enemies, the Pines family. I still haven't met them yet, but I know them 'cause I know lots of things, coming from my dad. Will met them, but didn't introduced himself, actually they met face-to-face. But the Pines didn't knew he was there and just passed him.

From what I've heard from Will, they're actually playful and they're just kids. 'Sometimes you just won't understand what they're capable of. They're mortals, they live up to morals! See what I mean? They're weird! Everyone's weird, weird is unique for us demons!'- Will's voice somehow echoed inside my head.

He's guiding me, maybe? Well, our minds are connected. He can see what I can see because of a certain eye of his. He can hear my thoughts with his demon ears. I just couldn't understand why I could hear his voice. I'm not as powerful as Will or Bill.

But pretty sure these mortals are mean since my dad really hates them. Well, scratch that. He hates all of the mortals. Once my fingers reached the orb, an image of a boy and girl showed up. They looked like twins, and slightly familiar at the same time. They're quite acquaint.

"Huh? Mortals?" I quirked a brow, "why would my dad watch over mortals like them? They aren't any special.."

The boy was wearing a pine tree cap and the girl was wearing a sweater, it was adorned with sparkes and a shooting star design on the middle.

Those symbols.. "Pine Tree? Shooting Star?"

An idea struck inside my head, "well, dad said I can't kill a mortal, but he didn't say talk to them.." a rebellious smirk slithered on your face.

By a snap of your fingers, a portal of magic appeared before you. You took a deep breathe before hopping in it, "well, Mortal World! Here I come!"

I was teleported outside a big shack. There was a sign named "Mystery Shack" but the S was fallen on the roof.

"Hey!" A male's voice christened.

I freaked ouf and hid behind a tree, panicking from the inside. Why the hell didn't my brother warn me that the Mortal World is so dangerous?

Will's voice then said, 'if I didn't tell ya, then where's the fun in that?' You grunted in annoyance, if I see his face again, I'll smack him the head!

Wait, am I really hearing him?

"I know you're there. Come out!" The male cried out.

"Hey, there's no need to be afraid once you got Mabel Pines!" The female added.

You gulped, Mabel Pines? Shooting Star..?

If only I could open a portal right now, but I would be seen or followed.

I shutted my eyes and sighed to calm myself down, I tucked a strand of my blonde hair behind my ear and took a peek. I was so afraid of mortals even though I'm more powerful.

And that's when I took a step to show myself, I acted shy and disappointed. 'Innocence! That's work!' Will said.

"Who are you? I've never seen you in town before. Are you new here?" Pine Tree queried.

I nodded slightly, "oh, I'm Mabel Pines! And this is Dipper, Dipper Pines!" Shooting Star got nudged on the elbow by her brother.

"Mabel, what did Grunkle Stan tell us about introducing our identities to other people?" Pine Tree whispered between his gnashed teeth. He doesn't know I can hear him, right?

"Relax, Dipper.. she isn't a cop," Shooting Star wiggled her brows playfully.

Pine Tree rolled his eyes, "whatever.. anyways, what's your name?"

I gulped. Should I tell them my name? Hey, I'm (y/n) Cipher, daughter of Bill Cipher, a dream demon! It's so terrifying if they found out.

'I'd love that!'

Shut up, Will!

I won't bother their screams or if they'll be scared, crying out for help or not. But if they found out about me, something bad would happen. It's complicated.

"I'm..(y/n)!" Gosh, why was that hard to do?

"Cool! Well, (y/n). Would you like to be my friend?" Shoo-- I mean, Mabel pulled out a hand and creased a grin.

Is she trying to make a deal with me? Or is this what mortals usually do?

I reached out my hand to her with my hand shaking. We finally shook our hands.

"Guess that's a yes then! You don't talk much, y'know!" Shooting star giddily exclaimed.

"Kids! Need help here with the shack!" Stanley's voice called, the twins looked behind to see a old man on the shack. Ugh, Stanley.. dad's number one enemy.

"Well, see ya, (y/n)! I hope we'll meet again soon!" Shooting Star grinned. "It was fun talking to you, right, Dipper?" She nudged Pine Tree's elbow once more.

"Yeah, see ya.. (y/n).." Pine Tree lowered the visor of his cap before leaving with his sister skipping.

They waved goodbye, instilling me confusion. I copied their waving. They made their way inside the shack and went inside, with Shooting Star jumping in joy, prompting her brother to grab her by collar and drag her in.

You sulked of what happened. Shooting Star's antics are confusing. I stared at my palm and shivered. I touched a mortal's hand. Ugh! So creepy!

I can't believe I'm making friends with a mortal! Pretty sure dad wouldn't agree with this and I'm guessing he's gonna be really mad if he found out that I'm out of the nightmare realm. I then wandered around the shack. Anyways, what can I find in the human word?

(A boy about in the age of eighteen sat on the Mystery Shack's roof. No one was noticing him at all. But he watched over (y/n) and smirked, "it's been decades.. hasn't it, (y/n)?")

Guess who is it? :)

First time writing a story based on Gravity Falls and based on Bill Cipher's daughter. This is all new for me, but I hope you like the first chapter and if you voted then it really really means a lot to me..
