Treacherous Beauty
Written/Edited by: Kyla
Once upon a time, in another world in the Realm of the Nuzlocke Games...
There was a beautiful princess named Naida. Her and her family reigned over a small island nation called Cerulea. She had a huge castle, all the things she ever wanted, but she was still all alone. Literally in fact. It was said, that when she was a baby, a water goddess possessed Naida's body, giving her amazing water abilities, but she was also cursed to be blindingly beautiful. Whenever someone saw her, it was as if they were shot with a tranquilizer dart. So she never left her room, on the top of her tower. Who would have thought being beautiful, was so treacherous. Poor Naida went into depression. She was all alone, no one and nothing to talk to.
I was planning to do suicide. But I didn't have a knife, nowhere to hang myself, all I had was gallons of water. (which I use to practice my water skills) I summoned the water from their jugs. And surrounded my head with water, forcing myself to drown. But to my surprise, I could breathe water. Even if I forced water into my lungs, I lived. I flopped on my bed and cried. The water dispersed around my face, soaking my bed and leaving my hair, with a gorgeous shine. There was no escape from beauty, no escape at all.
Suddenly, a dark voice whispered to me. "Escape... Escape... You don't have to stay here, you don't have to be alone..." All the water that soaked my bed rose from my sheets, encasing my body. The water was cold, so cold, that it didn't feel like water. It was black, everything, a dark blank universe. No one, nothing, it was ten times worse than being alone in my room. I couldn't breathe, the pitch black flooded my lungs. I passed out...
*A little later, after being teleported into The Nuzlocke Games...
I woke up by river, soft grass surrounded me, and I was now wearing a ruffly, mermaid blue dress; and to my surprise, five Pokémon slept next to me. A Manaphy, Lunatone, Swanna, Lapras, and Vaporeon. I reached out to pet the Manaphy, as I stroked it, I heard footsteps coming toward me, so I curled back into fetal position. I tried to keep calm as the footsteps landed around me, But to an even bigger surprise, I felt a soft, gentle hand on my cheek. I slowly opened my eyes to see a man with brown hair and fiery streaks. I didn't run, I was so dazed by his handsomeness. He was looking straight into my eyes. I was looking into his, a bright orange with burning fire red specks.
It felt like we already knew each other.
