(Imperial palace February 1925.) Tanya POV.
As I read the latest reports form teh front I could only smile at the success we had been having lately. We had conquered Dacia and repelled several republic offensives. I wanted the war to end As quickly as possible but my attempts at diplomacy had failed every time I sent them. The republic either outright rejected them or threatened me. The entente was more open but They were divided so there was still no agreement. However I had an Idea. If we took the entente and threatened the republic then the allied kingdom may step in but knowing them they would make some demand like withdraw from our conquests or colonies. I was fully prepared to restore the entente and Dacia back to their pre war governments if it meant peace and a potential new ally. However diplomacy was not my mission today I was scheduled to go to teh fronts in 3 days to help boost morale. As dangerous as it was I knew it would do my soldiers some good.
(Western front 3 days later.)
I boarded my train bound for the western front but I Ordered them to go straight to the front as opposed to western command. My reasoning was that I wanted to see my men without all the political hassle. That was indeed true as I also felt sympathy for my men as I had been in their shoes in the trenches not that long ago.
What I did not expect was Seeing dozens of soldiers Crowded around the station and cheering for me as I stepped out of my carriage. I immediately started my tour of the front.
"So I hope you are all being treated well here despite the circumstances of the front." I said to a small group of soldiers around a campfire.
"It could always be worse Mein Kaiserin I'm just confused why you would waste your time talking to soldiers like us instead of generals. "
I simply stood up and smiled at the young soldier." It is because I care about my soldiers and your conditions I know life on the front is brutal and I wanted your honest opinion."
The soldiers began to look at me with determination in their eyes and I was slightly startled when one of them suddenly stood up.
"Empress you have my word I will not rest till teh fatherland is safe you have my loyalty and dedication." HE says with a salute The others soon followed similarly.
over all my visit to the western front was a success and I learned that despite the harsh conditions of the trenches morale was still alright. I also made it a point to visit the field hospitals a gesture that the wounded greatly appreciated.
Eventually after performing some medal ceremonies personally I boarded my train for the north.
(Northern theater 4 days later.)
When I arrived in Norden I noticed that morale here was better. This was probably due to them dealing with a more incompetent enemy and it was easier to manage supplies due to the smaller army.
I had the same effect though troops saluting and greeting me and I Even joined them for some meals and interacted with the wounded again.
However as I was about to leave a messenger approached me.
"Majesty bombers are approaching we have to get you to safety."
I knew this was the chance I was craving to see some action sand prove to my soldiers I'm not some figure head and my words are true.
"NO evacuate the wounded and guard the supply depots I will handle the bombers." I Order as I grab a rifle and take off into the sky to attack the bombers.
I was grateful that I had the type 95 as It made it easy to eliminate the bombers and save a few of my fellow mages.
When I landed again I was greeted By cheers of "HAIL TO THE EMPRESS." , "our ARGENT SILVER YOU COMMAND AND WE FIGHT." , "DEATH TO THE ENEMIES OF THE EMPRESS."
I promised the mage some rewards for their hard work and ordered for the wounded to have a 3 day pass.
These gestures along with me standing by them on the front boosted their morale a lot and I knew that I firmly had their loyalty and now it was time to eliminate the true enemies of the fatherland.
