Ssundee- Chapter 8: Like A Jigsaw Puzzle...
The light slowly filtered through the darkness, bringing me back into consciousness. I shook my head slowly, clearing the last of the haze that came with the change. Then I remembered Mitch. "MITCH! Mitch where are you?!" I scrambled to my feet before a searing pain in my shoulder brought me back down again. Then a pair of restraining hands in black gloves came down on me, keeping me down. I blinked squinted up into the worried and concerned face of SkyDoesMinecraft. I blinked. "Um, hi?" He sighed, relieved. "Holy crap Ssundee, we thought the worst when we got here, but then-" I sat up. "Where's Mitch?" "He's fine, lost a lot of blood but Seto will patch him up and he'll be good in no time." I gasped. "Thank goodness. And the dragon?" Sky grinned. "Back at SkyBase." "Where are we?" "In the forest. We're the only ones here. 'Cept for Ty. He stayed behind with me to wait till you woke up, cus you couldn't be moved." "Ok. What's happened to my shoulder?" His expression made me think I didn't want to know. "Well, it's not quite what's wrong with your shoulder. It's what's NOT wrong with your shoulder." I frowned. "What's THAT supposed to mean?" He shifted around a bit, clearly uncomfortable. "Um, well, it's kinda...broken." "Ok." "It's like...uh, maybe you should see for yourself..." I took a deep breath and strained my neck round to glimpse my shoulder wound and immediately wished I hadn't. Beneath the tattered rags of my suit was a mess of ragged flesh and protruding bone. The stench of blood made me feel instantly nauseous and I quickly drew away before I could throw up. I could see Sky was grimacing as well. "Ok...THAT is bad." I said shakily. He nodded. Then I heard something crash through the undergrowth and Ty flung himself out of the bushes. "Oh, hey Ssundee!" "Uh, hi Deadlox."
He knelt beside me; next to Sky. "Um, how are you?" "Never been better." I replied sarcastically. Sky chuckled. Then I heard a screech and flinched; it was that of a dragon. But as it soared downwards into the clearing, I sighed with relief as I realised it was Seto's Enderdragon. "Ssundee!" I heard him cry out. "Hey." He sprang off the back of his dragon and instantly ran to my side. "Ok, this might sting a little." He lay his hands on my shoulder and started muttering some stuff I couldn't understand. I started as his eyes glowed purple and sparks bounced off his fingers. I glanced down at my shoulder and stared at it. It was glowing a faint purple; the muscle and sinew sewing themselves together, bone splinters clicking together, slotting into place like a jigsaw puzzle. Within minutes all the evidence left of my injury was a faint scar that looped around my shoulder, and the tattered remains of my suit. I realised that my mouth was open and quickly closed it. Seto grinned at me, "There. Good as new." "Wow." The others laughed at my dumbfounded expression. "Lol!" "Yeah, Seto normally has that effect on people!" I rolled my eyes; grinning. I stood up and dusted myself off. "So, how do you feel NOW?" Ty repeated. I smiled at him. "Never been better." Only this time, I meant it...
