I guess I was grateful to 'Captain' Sparklez for letting Derp and I stay, mind you, I was pretty confident we could survive together on our own now. But I knew we couldn't leave. The prophecy was about US after all. I decided to take Derp with me and go exploring; I needed to get away from the others for a little while. I told Seto where we were going and made for the jungle to our west. We'd been walking for a while when I heard a noise. "Did you heard that?" Derp froze, narrowing his eyes. "Yes." We kept walking till I heard a twig snap nearby. "Ok, seriously. Is someone following us?" I jumped about 5ft into the air as a man jumped down from a tree and landed on top of Derp. "Hey! Get off of me!" Derp pulled the squirming guy off and held him in front of his face. The man took one look at his crooked eyes glaring at him and started screaming. "NO PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE I NEVER MEANT TO HURT ANYBODY! PLEASE DON'T EAT ME!" Derp stared at me. "Did he really just say, 'Don't eat me?!'" I snorted. "Yup." Derp shook his head and threw the guy on the floor. I walked over to him as he stood up shakily. "What's your name?" "Lancey." He was wearing a dark green shirt and black trousers. He was also wearing dark green shoes and a blue bandanna. He kinda looked like a bear victim. "Ok, Lancey, why did you jump on my friend?" "He-he-he's your friend? I thought you were identical twins..." Awkward. "Yes...he is my friend. WHY did you jump on him?" "I need food I've been surviving in the jungle for months now you are the first people I've seen for months I thought you were prey or something so I jumped on you to kill you and eat you..." Derp looked terrified. I probably did too. "I think we should take him back to base...I mean, the more people we have to help us win the war...the better, right?" Derp grunted. "As long as he doesn't try to eat my face again." I couldn't help it; I laughed. Lancey looked back and forth between us. "You sure you're not brothers or something?..." "Uhhh, it's a long story." "Yeah...we'll tell you sometime. When we think you're a good enough friend." "Plus, friends DON'T try to eat each other." Lancy gulped. "Hehe, um...yeah." I chuckled as we turned round and led Lancey back to base.

When we got back SkyBase was deserted. There was no one around at all. "This is not good..." I checked through every room. Nothing. Until I reached mine and Seto's. I opened the door and my heart stopped. On the floor was Seto's cloak; dry blood encrusting the edges. I knew it was his blood. Next to it was a note. I gingerly picked it up and began to read.

Wow, they REALLY can't spell can they? was my first thought, then: Holy crap what have they done to Seto?!

I ran down the corridor and outside where Derp and Lancey were waiting. "Right. Derp." He looked at me. "We need to go to the cave." He instantly understood. Lancey however, had different thoughts on his mind. "I've got it! You're both gay!" "WHAT?!" I stared at him, scandalised. "I have a fiancé!" "Oh god." He looked down, embarrassed. "Where IS Diamond?" "I-I-I don't know Derp..." "Ssundee!" I whipped round. "Well THAT was good timing." "Diamond! You're ok." She was wielding an iron sword with dried squid blood on the edges. "Where are we going?" I knew I couldn't leave her behind, but I felt terrible risking her life. "Oh, hi Derp." "Hello Diamond." She had taken Derp's sudden appearance in the real world very well. "Right. Read this." She took the paper. "Wow, these squids REALLY need some spelling lessons." Then she looked up and noticed Lancey for the first time. He had a kinda dreamy look on his face, "Oh...um, hello?" "Hi, my name's Lancey." "Oh, hello Lancey, nice to meet you. I'm Ssundee's fiancé." She must've overheard our conversation. The dreamy look instantly evaporated off of Lancey's face. "Oh." I snorted as Diamond whispered in my ear, "He looks like a bear victim." Good to see I'm not the only one who thinks that.
