(Volume 3) Part 2:A Dusty Crow...

After your encounter with Mercury and Emerald...which has put you on edge as you overheard them talking about something that seemed important, you all went to the place Yang was talking about called "A Simple Wok" You sit down next to Ruby and see that...the same guy from the Dust shop AND the decorator for the Vytal Festival is ALSO running this store...You...feel like that guy is hiding something...something evil...something deadly...SO VILE AND CRUEL THAT ALL SHALL BOW BEFORE HI- You are interrupted by Yang and COMPLETELY forget about what you're talking about...

Yang:" I'll have a bowl of the regular, please." A giant bowl of noodles slide in front of her. You look at Raiden who is next to Yang as he is scanning the menu..though...you are excited to see what the extra large is in this place considering the size of the regular

Raiden:"Yyyeeeaaahhhh, I'll just have the same as Yang." Another giant bowl of noodles slides up to Raiden.

 Ruby:"Oooooh...I'll have the same." The shopkeeper slides a bowl of noodles to her as well as Ruby claps her hands in excitement...everyone looks at you as they know you're gonna order something big as usual...

You:"I'll have...hmm...4 extra large bowls, please." The shopkeeper looks at you curiously before shrugging and goes back into the kitchen and you hear four large thuds behind you as...you witness a glorious sight as four bowls that are almost as big as the place itself are behind you. You could've sworn you heard a choir of heavenly angels sing 'HALLELUJAH HALLELUJAH! HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH!' You are SO in love right now...well not as much as you love Ruby...but...AWFULLY CLOSE. Okay NOW all of Team RWBY is worried for you.

Weiss:"Ummmm..." She can't stop staring at your bowls of pure heaven before shaking her head "Do you have anything with a low-salt-" She gets cut off as a regular giant bowl of noodles slides at her "Um... okay..."

You look at Blake as she doesn't say anything...she simply nods her head at the shopkeeper as he nods back and rushes back into the kitchen and prepares a meal...fit for a cat as he speeds out with a giant bowl of...tuna. Blake seems totally in love right now as she drools while staring at her cat meal. You rub your hands together as you are about to dive in to your luxurious meal. You look back to see that Weiss takes out her Schnee Dust Company credit card and gives it to the shopkeeper. 

Yang: Aw, Weiss! What's the occasion!? You are indeed surprised to see her doing something nice for the team. Not that she hasn't done it before, it's just still taking a little bit to get used to is all...

You:"Yeah...um...you sure you want to pay for THESE!?" You point at your bowls of Heaven.

Weiss:"Consider it thanks for sending me to the doubles rounds." Though that act of kindness gets denied apparently as the card is sent flying into the table...you all look at the annoyed Shopkeep as he points to his register as it beeps "DECLINED "What?! How can my card be declined? I was barely into my monthly allowance!"... How big is her allowance?

You:"...W-wait!" You and Blake looking around panicked, Blake attempts to slowly slide her bowl closer to herself before the Shopkeep disappears with her food, causing her slump over in defeat 

Blake:"Nooo!!" You quickly look back to where your food was to see it...gone...like it wasn't even there to begin with...Your heart...

You:"No...No....NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" You yell as you slam your fists on to the table, along with your head...VERY BAD IDEA CONSIDERING YOUR ARM IS IN A CAST, now you have endless tears going down your face in frustration...Ruby seems very concerned.

Pyrrha:"Maybe I could help?" You all look up to see Team JNPR  approach the stand

Ruby:"Pyrrha!"

Yang:"Aw, you don't have to..." You and Blake immediately yell

You/Blake:"BUT SHE COULD!!!"

Pyrrha:"Well, I think you all earned it after that battle." ...You didn't even battle...

You:"...Wait...Raiden and I can't even batt-" You get smacked in the head by Weiss.

You:"OOOWWW!" You hold your head

Weiss:"Just accept her gift, you boob!" she seemed angered...then again she didn't seemed all too happy when her dad called her...you sort of understand what it's like to be angry at a dad who's never around...Except her situation is different.

Jaune:"Mind if we join you?" ...They join you as Pyrrha realizes she has to pay for your big stomach...you feel bad.

Later on you've all finished your bowls...you could still go for another one but everyone immediately yelled no when you said it...

Ren:"Are you sure it's wise to have eaten before a fight?" The shopkeeper speeds through everyone and quickly gathers the bows and vanishes...you look back to see if your bowls are there only for them to be gone AGAIN.

Pyrrha: "Of course! It will give us energy!" Nora gives a mighty belch. Which you clap for as she slightly bows.

Jaune(Nauseated):"If I barf, I'm blaming you." He says while being flopped over on the table

Nora:"Ooh! Aim at the enemy!" She says while smiling evilly 

You:"WHAT A GREAT PLAN! Both useful for cleaning your body AND taking out your opponents vision! Genius!!!"

Ren:"Nora, that's disgusting. But if you feel the urge..." Jaune gives a weak thumbs-up

Jaune:"Got it."

Pyrrha: "Well, we should be off." She says while standing up from her stool.

Ruby:"So, you think you guys are ready?"

Nora:"Of course! We've got a world-renowned fighter on our team, one's basically ninja, I can bench five of me, Jaune, we trained all year, our weapons are awesome, Glynda barely yells at us anymore, and uh... Jaune!"

Ren:"Are you gonna take that?"

Jaune (Nauseated):"She's not wrong." Oh Jaune...when will you learn

Nora:"I'm kidding, he knows I'm kidding."...You don't think he knows that she's kidding...she begins talking very quickly, as the color from her face starts to drain "Don't be so nervous! The worst that can happen is we lose, that is just a few more years of walking around school with everyone knowing we're failures, our friends will slowly abandon us to preserve their social status, we won't be able to show our faces in class, no one will sit with us in the cafeteria, Ren and I have no parents, we have no home left to go to, we'll be officially renamed Team Lose-iper!" She begins to laugh madly before breaking down into sobbing as she places her head on the table...well damn...

Ren:"So, yeah, we're feeling pretty good."...It doesn't seem like it.

Pyrrha:"Don't fret. If anything, we should be looking forward to a fight with actual guidelines, and not, well, ...murderers."

Yang:"Yeah, don't sweat it, we've all faced way worse before." You and Raiden nod up and down very quickly

Blake(While counting the threats off of her fingers):"Let's see. Grimm invasions, violent extremists, a destructive sociopath..."

Ruby:"And that's all while were still in training! Oh, imagine what it would be like to graduate!"

Weiss (sarcastically mumbling to herself):"Maybe then I'll be able to pay for a meal." You wonder what's going on with her

Port (crackling in over the intercom system): "Would Team JNPR please report to the battlegrounds immediately!"

Oobleck (Intercom):"Yes! Like they were scheduled to, several minutes ago!"

Pyrrha: Well, it looks like this is it." You wave to them as they walk off with Nora still looking depressed and Jaune looking queasy.

Ruby:"Go get 'em!"

You:"We're rooting for you!"

Later in the Amity Colosseum 

You walk through the tunnels of the Colosseum and look around to see...Mercury and Emerald walk behind you to find their seats...you shake your head quickly as you surprisingly the others have found the seats that you and Raiden saved as the others call for you

Yang:"Hey (F)! Down here!!!" You give her a thumbs up as you sit next to Ruby as she looks at you a bit curious it seems...seems like she knows something is off with you...though it doesn't seem like she can focus on that now as Team JNPR and Team BRNZ are about to start their match.

Port(Intercom):"Team JNPR of Beacon versus Team BRNZ of Shade!" He announces

You see both teams readies themselves, a circle of holographic roulettes start spinning frantically through various symbols and colors before finally landing on a green pine tree and gray thunderstruck mountain. The random selections causes half of the field to be filled by a tree-filled forest, as the other raises a mountain like terrain to fill in the circle. 

Ruby(Yelling):"WOOOO-HOOOO" she yells loudly from her seat.

Port:"Three, two, one, begin!"

The match begins as both teams leaps towards each other...right before the two teams clash, you feel your scroll vibrate in your pocket. You look at it to see that...General Ironwood is messaging you? It only reads

General Ironwood:"Call me ASAP. We need to discuss something." ...What could this mean...you REALLY don't want to miss this fight but...this seems important...you look over at your team as they're busy looking at the fight in awestruck so you use this time to quietly get up from your seat and head out...

You are now outside of the stadium as you look at your scroll...your shaking a little, why would the General call you? You don't know why but you dial the number that he left you and after a few rings he picks up

You(Scroll):"Um...General Ironwood, sir? You said to call you as soon as possible."

Ironwood(Scroll):"Ah yes. There's something we need to discuss with you immediately. Get to Ozpin's office as soon as you can." You gulp...the heck could this mean? Did they find out about Raiden's past or something? You gulp as Ironwood begins to speak again "Is that clear?"

You(Scroll):"Y-yes sir."

Ironwood(Scroll):"Good." He hangs up...you breathe out shakily. So many negative thoughts are going through your head...what on Remnant is gonna happen to you.

You look back at the Colosseum and see...Ruby walking towards you..uh-oh.

Ruby:"Um...(F)?" She looks at you curiously "Are you alright? You kinda left without saying a word so..."

You:"I-uh...n-nothing. Just needed to make a call." She looks at you with a face of suspicion.

Ruby:"Uh-huh...what 'call'." SHE'S ON TO YOU, ABORT MISSION!

You:"I-UH! NEEDED TO CALL MY DOCTOR!"

Ruby:"YOU DON'T HAVE A DOCTOR!" MISSION FAILED! ABORT! ABORT!

You(Panicking):"I DO NOW AND UH- H-HE SAID THAT I-UH! NEEDED TO UH DO A THING!"

Ruby(Yelling):"WHAT THING?!"

You(Yelling):"WHY ARE WE YELLING?!"

Ruby(Yelling):"I DON'T KNOW!?!?!?"

You(Panicking, yet again): "OH NOW I REMEMBER! MY DOCTOR SAID I NEEDED TO GET MY EARS CHECKED!" You burst your eyes into flames and warp off of the floating coliseum...you...are...SO. IN. TROUBLE. You can hear Ruby yelling from the coliseum

Ruby:"I WILL MURDER YOU!!!! (F)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" YEP YOU'RE SCREWED!

You:"I am SOOOO going to pay for that um..." You look around to see yourself...standing at the pier? huh... you've landed in front of a bar called a Crow's nest...you look around and can't see the school in sight...you walk in the bar to ask how to get to Beacon from here to see...only one very drunk man and a bartender. The bartender looks at you curiously.

Bartender:"Um...sorry son but I think you're a little too young to be drinking." The drunken man glances back at you 

You:"O-oh, no I'm not here for that, I'm trying to get to Beacon, can you point me in the right direction?" You notice your eye still is flowing with blue flames...which is probably why you're getting weird looks from the bartender.

Bartender:"Oh, just head East from here, you'll see it once you get pass the pier.

You:"Thank you, sir. Here." You Conjure Lien into your hand and place it on the counter

Bartender:"Ah, now there's no reason to tip me."

You:"No, please. I insist." You turn to leave before feeling a hand on your shoulder...You look back to see the drunken man staring at you...or what qualifies at staring since his eyes seemed sunken and tired. "Um...sir?"

Drunk Man:"Aren't you a little young to be in Beacon Academy." He notices your eye, still burning blue...

You:"I am...got in early because of the Headmaster..."

Drunk Man:"Ah, Old Oz'...you can never read that guy."

You:"...You...know Professor Ozpin?" You feel like this guy is either crazy or really bad ass...Looking at him, his clothes kinda reminded you of Ruby...you glance at his sword and see that...it seems like it has MAJOR modifications on it...though he reeked of Alcohol which gives you bad memories of your dad before he left you...who is this guy?

Drunk Man:laughs "That I do, kid." he lets go of your shoulder. He looks at your arm that's in a cast "And how did that happen to you?"

You:"Oh...um...hard to explain, but long story short, it was my Semblance."

Drunk Man:"Your own Semblance hurt you that badly? Heh, sounds fun." He takes a swig of his drink 

You:"Pssh yeah...VERY FUN" You say sarcastically "...well, maybe you could tell me the story of how you met him one day, sir. I've gotta go now, it was nice meeting you, Mister...?" You wait for him to respond

Qrow:"No need for mister kid, the name's Qrow." You...SWEAR you've heard that before. You feel your scroll vibrate and you take it out to see...Ruby is calling you...the man sees this and doesn't respond...you brace yourself for all hell and pick up...

Ruby(Speaker):"(FIRST NAME) (LAST NAME)!!! I'M GOING TO MURDER YOU! WHY WOULD YOU JUST LEAVE ME! I THOUGHT WE WERE IN A RELATIONSHIP!!!" You don't know what to do in this situation...You nod at the person you now know as Qrow and turn to leave to see that he...is studying you...

You:"I-I'm sorry Ruby! I SWEAR I WILL BUY YOU EVERY COOKIE AND SWEET THAT YOU WANT BUT I NEED TO TAKE CARE OF SOMETHING RIGHT NOW WITH IRONWOOD!" Qrow squints at you...it puts you on edge

Ruby:"...You will?...Wait...WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT YOU WERE DOING SOMETHING WITH GENERAL IRONWOOD!?"

You:"I PANICKED!!!" sighs "I'm sorry Ruby..."

Ruby(Speaker):sighs "I'm sorry too...but remember that talk we had during the breach? We're your teammates. I AM YOUR GIRLFRIEND FOR PETE'S SAKE! You've got to tell us these things...The match with Jaune and the others already finished...just...tell us when you're gonna disappear on us, okay? I love you..."

You:"I'm sorry...I promise that I'll share everything with you all...I love you too, goodbye." You hang up and sigh out and place your scroll in your pocket...Qrow and the Bartender heard ALL of that...

Qrow:"Heh, seems like you've got a real firecracker for a girlfriend. I bet she's a real treat for you, isn't she?" You smile

You:"Yeah...she's...well...I can't describe how amazing she is..." Qrow takes a swig of his drink

Qrow:"Hah...what's her name?"

You:"Her name is Ruby. Ruby Rose." You wave before he could say anything else and run out of the bar. "I'LL SEE YOU AROUND!" You yell...hmm...just who WAS that guy? You can't focus on that now as you continuously warp from roof to roof...despite your head hurting, but you already wasted enough time talking to Qrow.

Later in Ruby's POV

Ruby:"WHY WOULD HE LEAVE US LIKE THAT!?!?" I yell to the rest of my teammates for the intermission

Yang:"Well...he's never done anything like this before, sooo maybe he had a good reason behind it?

Ruby:"HE HAS NO EXCUSE!" I am so beyond mad right now "Like WHY? WHY ON REMNANT WOULD HE JUST LIE TO US" Raiden shrugs and everyone sighs while shaking their heads

Weiss:"Ugh, he'll explain this behavior later, the next match is about to start." I start grumbling angrily under my breath as Oobleck begins to speak

Oobleck(Intercom):"Ah, well, Vacuo fans are sure to be hurting after that one, but this next one will have them on the edge of their seats!" Seems like they are reffering to Nora's...absolute destruction of Team BRNZ of last round. The screen shows the next team going up

Port(Intercom):"Team NDGO of Shade is certainly a crowd favorite, but these lovely ladies are going against some of the toughest, testosterone-filled teammates we've seen so far! I'm of course talking about... Team SSSN!" I'm so glad that (F) isn't like them, though he is tough...just not Sun's attitude and Neptune's...well..."Sun Wukong and his team are certainly a force to be reckoned with, and although he'll be representing the Mistral Academy of Haven, I'm sure his friends and family back in Vacuo will be cheering him along!" Sun and his team walk into the center of the field, waving to the cheering crowds as they do so

Weiss(cupping her hands):"Good luck, Neptune!" Aww, that's sweet seems like Weiss loves SOMETHING.

Neptune:"Ladies." He says to Team NDGO...clicking his tongue and pointing at them

Weiss:"Break his stupid face, NDGO!" Oh boy...

Neptune:"Alright, girls, try and remember: hands above the waist." Yeah that's why I'm glad (F) isn't like Sun...kind of funny when Sun and Neptune tried giving him pick up lines...which...don't work on me honestly

Sun:"Ignore him, for he... Yeah, he's dumb."

Neptune winks at them...they look disgusted as the holographic roulette shows up again, landing on a yellow image of sunny dunes and stone formations until the real thing emerges from below. A small circular light even appears overhead, causing most of the crowd to don sunglasses...Did...they just make another Sun? Haha unintentional pun. Go me! high fives self...the rest look at me strangely. One of the girls of the other team speaks

Nebula:"Alright! Home field advantage!"

Sun:"Don't get too cocky! That's my turf, too!"

Scarlet:"I hope I don't get sand in my shoes." Neptune leans over to him

Neptune:"Be cool, man."

Dew: (when the spinning images stop on a blue symbol of tidal waves) Hey! The ocean!

Neptune:"Huh?" I...see his eyes dilate at his goggles reflect the image, I can hear a slight whimper coming from him...Umm...I'm confused

Ruby:"Uhh, what's wrong with Neptune?" I ask my teammates to see that Blake's hand is in her face...

Blake:"Oh, no."After pausing as the selection lifts up a beach paradise with water and half of a sunken batlle ship to the arena...she speaks"Neptune's ... afraid of the water." Um...WHAT!?!?

Oobleck(Intercom):"3, 2, 1, BEGIN!"

As soon as the word is said, Neptune zooms through the enemy team and skids up the mountain behind them. One of his teammates yell at him

Sage:"Neptune, what are you doing?!" Neptune's now on a ledge...

Neptune:"Uh, you know, just gaining the higher ground!"

Sun:"On the enemy's side?!"

Neptune:"They would never expect it!"Well...he ain't wrong there.

Dew:"He's not wrong." YOU SEE!?

Nebula:"Open fire!"

Team NDGO goes forward into their turf as Team SSSN follows them, Sage with his sword raised and Scarlet ditches his fabulous coat. He comes up on Octavia who just came out from a nearby arch and tries to slice her with his cutlass. She ducks under the swing and continues sliding away, past the middle of Dew and Sage. Sage lifts his sword over his head, only to get knocked back by Dew's spear. He glances up in time to see the her wave her weapon over the sand to create three small twisters that kick up dust in Sage's face...Oooh I want to make tornadoes...though I probably can considering my speed...THEN I CAN SWEEP (F) OFF HIS FEET!! HAHA...I know how to do the romance stuff...wait...what was I talking about? O-oh right fighing duh. He looks around as they surround him, but doesn't realize the danger until they merge into one big tornado that picks him up off the ground. His weapon is torn out of his hand and is totally helpless as the winds throw him and his blade out of the arena.

Oobleck(Intercom):"And NDGO gains the advantage!" Sage gets eliminated from the screen

Octavia slides in front of Sun and Scarlet, they ready themselves as she spins her sword around and produces a wave of flame that kicks up dust in their faces. Sun manages to jump out of the cloud just in time to call for his replacement in fighting the redhead.

Sun:"Neptune!"

Seeing his leader run from the duel, Neptune leaps down from his position and cocks his gun. Octavia attempts to use another fire attack to blind Neptune, but he just puts on his goggles and fires a bolt as his opponent, who blocks it with her blade right before seeing Sun leap out of nowhere to deliver a...neck-snapping kick to her face...Is...she dead? Oh okay NOT dead, Now she looks furious, Octavia brings her blade onto Sun's Ruyi Bang and Jingu Bang, God I love that name in its staff form as he spins it all around his body while hitting several parts of hers. He ends it with a jab that knocks Octavia on her back in the sand.

Port(Intercom):"Oh! And we're down to 3-on-3!"

Neptune is currently fighting with Gwen as she circles him with her flying knives and Scarlet attempting to go weapon-to-weapon with Dew. She forms another tornado to lift Scarlet up, and he spins around in it until it launches him over the shipwreck. Hmm...seems like he's going to be eliminated at well if he keeps flying away like that, but he extends his arms and manages to dive onto a part of the mast, almost losing his balance once the pole's under his feet. He eventually finds his balance right when Nebula closes in and launches an arrow with her crossbow at the mast, using it to jump right up to where Scarlet is. She folds up the sides of her weapon into a blade, they both begin ducking and missing or getting hit by the hilts while they're fighting until Nebula slams her sword over Scarlet's and forces him to lean back on the post. Luckily, he manages to get his sword back out from the trap and feign a swing at Nebula's feet before knocking into her with his elbow, causing her to fall off.

Scarlet sees Gwen continue to throw her knives, and he smirks before whipping out his pistol and shooting the hilt guard as a grappling hook to get her by the ankle.

Scarlet:"Gotcha!"

He uses the cord to lift Gwen into the air while he slowly comes down to the ground, only to land directly beneath her as her combat skirt begins to go up as she tries to stop it...this is why I always wear my leggings...pants...thing...the heck ARE these things? Well it doesn't matter as while knives start raining down from her dress. Scarlet quickly freezes in a ridiculous pose that somehow allows him to miss every single blade that comes crashing down into the sand at his feet, he breaths out with relief. Dew then leaps near Sun, causing him to improvise as he makes weapons in the form of two coconuts that he knocks out the palm tree beside him, which he throws at his opponent only to get them knocked right back at him, now spontaneously catching fire as they travels...Wait...fire...(F)...still going to kill him once we're done here... Sun dodges them both, but Scarlet gets one straight to the face, and the other lands in...well...let's just sat that makes him squeal in unimaginable pain while dropping his Aura levels into elimination.

Sun:sighs "Nuts!"...Huh,wonder why he said that? Well anyways Sun looks from Scarlet to Dew as she summons more tornadoes but they're blue tornadoes...like (F)'s FIRE I WILL MURDER HIM...wait why am I getting mad again? Um anyways he tries to dodge around them before calling out "Uh, Neptune? Could use some help, buddy!"

Neptune(Nervous):"Uh, you know, uh, it would probably be better if you came over here! Yeah, I can guard this... sector! We're in lockdown mode!"...He's just as bad as (F) with lying...

Sun:"What are you talking about? There's nothing to lock down!" Nebula shoots down the rope that was holding Gwen up

Neptune:"Lockdown! Right! You got it!" Seems like he wasn't paying attention

Sun: (jumping out from Dew's attempt to pierce him with her spear as he calls out to Neptune) Dude, I know you're afraid of water, but you gotta-" he stops yelling mid sentence when a blue shot from Neptune knocks an Dew who was about to attack Sun, out of midair and into the water

Neptune:"There! I helped! Are you happy now!?"He pauses for a bit "Also, I am not afraid of water, and I have no idea what you are talking about!"Dew manages to get back up as Nebula and Gwen join their comrade, lifting their weapons and ready to fight once more.

Sun:"NEPTUNE!"

Neptune:"Okay, fine! Just get out of the water! Neptune jumps over to a spot near the coastal line next to Sun, and he unfolds his weapon into its trident form before tip-toeing forwards and, eyes closed, plunges the sparking prongs into the water. The energy surges through the deep as all of NDGO are electrocuted and kneel in the water, who are now smoking as the buzzer...well buzzes I guess. Sun and Neptune chest bump as Professor Port speaks

Port(Intercom):"And with that, Team SSSN moves on to the doubles round! You know what I call that victory?"

Oobleck:"Shocking?" Hehe, puns.

Port:"No, well earned. What you said is stupid." Well then...Now...ONTO KILLING (F)!...I can't kill that innocent little cinnamon-bun...BUT I WILL HURT HIM! But jeez...that was a close match

Ruby:"Aw, that was so close!"

Raiden:"I wonder how much easier this would've been if Neptune wasn't afraid of the water"

Yang:"Heh, well it looks like the dorks made it to the next round either way!" I see that they are in fact dancing like total dorks as Sun points at her while winking at her...aww, they seem great for each other

Blake:"Emphasis on 'dork'." ...You know you love him Blake.

Oobleck(Intercom):"That concludes the matches for today. Please leave the Coliseum IN A CALM AND ORDERLY FASHION!" That was...loud...though considering it was Oobleck this wasn't anything new...still hurt my ears though

Yang:"Come on, let's go congratulate 'em."

Ruby:"AND THEN WE'RE GOING TO FIND (F)!"

We all start to head out and I bounce to the exit as a ribbon decorated aircraft passes over the Colosseum, Weiss stops in her tracks and I bounce into her

Ruby:"Uh, what are you viewing?" SHe looks...happy? I can't tell.

Weiss:"She's here!"
