(Volume 2) Part 6: My Beautiful Rose.

You're sitting in the ballroom with Ruby and the rest of the gang (excluding Blake) and you're sitting next to Ruby as she is slumped over on the table and...seems very bummed out by something...you can already guess what it is about.

You:"You alright Ruby?" Ruby looks up at you with those cute puppy-dog eyes of hers before placing her head on your shoulder. "...I'm gonna guess and say this is about Blake?" She nods slowly before placing her hand on the table and laying her head against it, before Weiss slams her hands on the table and surprising Ruby.

Weiss:"I need you two to pick a tablecloth." She slides two sheets of tablecloth...that..look...the exact same? You can't tell since you are horrible with fashion and not really into the whole party-planning business and more into the stabby-stabby-shooty things business. Ruby looks at them and you can tell she also has no clue what the difference is either

Ruby:"Aren't they both the same?" She sighs and looks at you, hoping for a better answer.

You:"Yeah um...I...have absolutely no clue what the difference is between the two..." Weiss crumples the sheet in her hand angrily

Weiss:"I don't even know why I asked."

You:"Yeah, you should know that the only artistic capabilities we have consist of burping the ABC's and painting the butt of Ruby's dog." (RWBY Chibi)

Weiss:"JUST. FORGET. IT!" She storms off and flings the crumpled up papers in the air and you laugh a little and look at Ruby to see that she's...slumped over on the table again. You run your fingers through her hair and look back as Yang is carrying a gigantic speaker before dropping it to the ground which makes every chair and table fly upwards a little due to the shock...You notice Raiden is using his Cloud Kitsune to grab a couple of banners using its 6-Whip mode. Yang approaches you two while dusting her hands off.

Yang:"So, have you picked out a dress yet?"

You(Sarcastically with a feminine tone):"OH YES, I HAVE DIAMOND ENCRUSTED SLIPPERS WITH A GOLD SILK DRESS AND I WILL BE THE PRETTIEST OF THEM ALL." Yang puts you in a headlock and noogies your head

Yang:"Real funny, (F), Though I'd pay to see that." You can barely breathe and she lets go and ruffles your hair and looks at Ruby who still looks...unamused. "...Well, have you?"

Ruby:"What's the point? Who cares about the dance if Blake isn't going?" You...still haven't asked her out to the dance yet.

Yang:"Oh, don't worry, she's going, and I'm sure that this is going to be an important moment for you and (F), I mean, I know Raiden and I are going to make this night be one to remember." She squints at you curiously "Wait (F)...have you even aske-" her sight snaps to over to Weiss who has doilies in her hands. "Weiss! I thought we agreed! No doilies!" Weiss slides over to Yang with her finger pointing at her

Weiss:"If I don't get doilies, you don't get fog machines." You hear the sound of the ballroom door opening and look up to see Neptune and Sun walking in.

Neptune:"Your dance is gonna have fog machines?" Neptune asks as Weiss walks up to him.

Weiss:"We were thinking about it."

You:"But you just said-"

Weiss:"Silence, you boob!" She pops up behind you and slaps you on the head.

You:"OW!" You hold your head as Neptune and Sun look at you two confused...

Neptune:"Well anyways...I guess that's pretty cool."

Sun:"You ladies and gentlemen all excited for dress up?" You look down to Ruby to see that she is still looking like death...or a very accurate interpretation of Blake, you can't tell...

Ruby:"Pfft, yeah right."

Yang:"Laugh all you want. I'll be turning heads tomorrow."

You:"You mean Raiden's head?"

Yang:"You know it." She winks at Raiden whose face turns red

Weiss:"What are you two wearing?"

Sun:"Uhh,this?" He gestures to his...'Very' professional outfit

Neptune:"Ignore him, for he know not what he says." Neptune says stepping in front of Sun. Sun moves him out of his way

Sun:"Hey, I may have moved to Mistral, but I grew up in Vacuo. Its not exactly a shirt-and-tie type of place."

Yang/You:"Yeah, we've noticed." Sun scratches his head.

Sun:"So, uh...what does Blake think of all this? She still being all, ya know....Blake-y?" he says while bringing his hands up

Weiss:"Obviously." she says while crossing her arms.

You:"Yeah..now my dear girlfriend here is suffering from Blake-titus. Where Blake's Blake-yness has spread over to her...tragic." Ruby still seeming unamused sticks her tongue out at you.

Ruby:"Oh be quiet, the worst part is that I still can't think of a way to change her mind..."

Yang:"Guys. Trust me. Blake will be at the dance tomorrow."

You:"What are you gonna do, kidnap her? Or are you gonna have a trail of Tuna leading into the ballroom because other than that...Oh or use a laser pointer that helps"

Yang:"Just trust me, alright?...Though you just gave me an idea" She walks away and out of the ballroom and you wonder how exactly is did you help...and Ruby goes back into her depressed state...

Later

You're walking around with Ruby at the front of the school, she seems to be better...at the place where you officially met her...you've got the brilliant idea of asking her to the dance right at the place you first met her...romance...you know how to do it, great...wait, it's 7...the dance starts at 9..you've got no time to waste since you know how women take forever to change

You:"...Hey Ruby?"...IDEA! You conjure a rose in your hand and hide it behind your back.

Ruby:"Yeah (F)." You for some reason have the sneaking suspicion that somehow Raiden is watching you.

You:"Well, I know with everything that's been happening lately with the White Fang and Torchwick that...I haven't given you the time that you deserve, I love you Ruby, with all of my heart, and yet even though we're dating I still want to learn as much as I can about you, to keep you happy, and smiling." God you now notice that this is starting to sound more like a proposal instead of a simple asking to go to a dance... "And since I want to keep that smile on your face for as long as possible...will you go to the dance with me?" You take out the rose (Hehehehe...g-get it, c-cuz her name is Ruby ROOOSSSEEE LDFFDSDFeEAJJFLHDSGHORUHGIU Inhuman Screeching... ._. Of course you would get that it's literally her thing...gotta come up with better ideas God...oh right, Continue on). Ruby blushes a little as she takes the rose and looks up at you and smiling softly.

Ruby:"I do, I thought you would never ask." She throws her arms around you and hugs you and you hug her back. You pull her back a little and you kiss her on the lips slowly and she kisses back.

Raiden/Yang:"HELL YEAH!" You and Ruby break away from the kiss suddenly completely red as Yang has her scroll out and is taking pictures as Raiden is clapping slowly.

You:"WHY ARE YOU TWO HERE!? HOW DID YOU EVEN KNOW WE WERE HERE!?"

Raiden:"Well I had the sneaking suspicion that you were going to try something romantic so I thought went ahead and came here, oh and we watched you the entire time." Yang nods and then looks at her scroll...she notices the time

Yang:"Well we better all get ready, dance starts in two hours now." You and Ruby look at each other before sighing and walking, holding each others hand

Raiden:"Awww, how cuuuttee." You Conjure a brick and throw it at Raiden.

Later

It's 8:15 and you are actually running late as Raiden had the bright idea of taking a shower...FOR AN HOUR. Like you are wondering what is he expecting to do with Ya-...You don't want to know... so after he got out in a stylish tuxedo with a red bow tie he exits and ruffles your hair and you Conjure another brick and. You take a very quick 5 minute shower and change into your fancy clothes. A black tuxedo with a white button-up shirt and a solid light blue tie with black slacks and black dress shoes. You walk out of the shower room and look at your scroll to see a message from Ruby

Ruby(Scroll):"Outside, at the place we were before."

As you go to walk outside you see a white flower on the ground and...Jaune who is sitting down, sad.

You:"Something up, Jaune?" Jaune looks up at you

Jaune:"Hey (F)...it's nothing I just...wanted to ask Weiss to the dance but...it seems like she already has one." You sigh and kneel next to Jaune.

You:"Listen Jaune...sometimes, you've got to know when to stop chasing...Weiss is a nice girl but...I don't think she's the one for you."

Jaune:"Pfft, then who is?" You can hear that Jaune is hurting

You:"Well..." You look away from Jaune and see Pyrrha in a beautiful red dress walking inside the ballroom with Ren and Nora behind her. "I'm not entirely sure...but I know that going after a girl who constantly rejects you...is only going to make you miss out on someone who is truly special." Jaune thinks about this and nods before lowly getting up and dusting himself off

You continue walking up to the front of the school and ...you see her as she is staring up into the starry night sky, in black high heels and wearing leggings she is in a absolutely beautiful Crimson Red dress that is accented by a black bow that covers the middle of her body. You...can't think and you can't help but notice how absolutely beautiful she is...she turns around and looks at you, the shattered moon reflecting in her beautiful silver eyes. You can't even speak because you feel like your brain is melting due to staring at her in awe

Ruby:"W-well, what do you think?" You can tell that you are absolutely red.

You:"I-I am at a loss for words...you're...absolutely perfect...my Beautiful Rose." Ruby blushes slightly looking down. you are actually a little surprised that you managed to say something somewhat romantic.

Ruby:"Wow...T-thank you...well you look very handsome (F)..." You scratch the back of your neck in embarrassment.

You:"Thank you...well..." You stretch out your hand to her "Shall we?" Ruby takes it and puts her head on your shoulder and smiles at you.

You smile as you walk with Ruby and walk towards the Ball Room.

(Hope you guys enjoyed, sorry that this part is a bit shorter but the next part is going to be bigger...and may have to be split into two parts, but I'll try not to do that, well till next time!)
