(Volume 2) Part 2: Blake's conflicted past 

The day after the events of The Food War

You and all of Team RWBY are in the library with Team JNPR and you're sitting next to Ruby as Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang are in a heated battle in Remnant:The Game. You watch patiently while also playing on your Scroll as Ruby is going over her cards. You look at the opposite end of the table to see Raiden whispering advice to Yang and look to the table where Team JNPR is to see that only Ren and Pyrrha are actually studying while Nora is asleep with a snot bubble coming out of her nose and Jaune is reading a comic. You focus back on the game and see that Ruby has finally decided. 

Ruby:"Hmmmmm....Alright!...Alright. Yang Xiao Long, prepare your kingdom for battle!" She yells triumphantly while pointing at Yang.

Yang:"Bring it on!" She says while giving a fist pump

Ruby:"I deploy the Atlesian Air Fleet!" She stands up holding the card.

Yang/Raiden: Gasps!!!!

Ruby:"Looks like I get to fly right over your Ursai and attack your walls directly!" Makes airplane noises  

Yang:Gasps "You fiend!" she yells pointing at Ruby 

Ruby:"And since Atlas is apart of Mantle my repair time only lasts one turn." She turns to you and goes to give you a high five, you return it and smiles smugly at Yang before she realizes that Yang is chuckling.

Yang:"Pretty sneaky, sis. But you just activated my trap card!" You gasp as Ruby squeals in terror. "Giant Nevermore!" She gets up and slams her fist onto the table making all of the piece fly upwards and get scattered along the board. "If I roll a seven or higher, Fatal Feathers will cut your fleet in two!"

Ruby:"BUT, if you roll a 6 or lower, the Nevermore will attack your own forces."

Yang:"That's just a chance I'm willing to take." She shakes the dice in her hands and throws in the table and it seems like it's about to land on...a 6 but you see Raiden "sneeze" and the resulting wind/snot push the dice over to a 7...

You(Telepathically):"Oh, you cheating little turd." You say as you make your eye flicker it's flames a little by activating your semblance 

Raiden(Telepathically):"Oh be quiet, you know you'd do it too for Ruby." You stick your tongue out at him and look to Ruby as the small flames from your eye stop.

Ruby seems to be having a mental breakdown after the lost of half of her army. She is slumped over on to the table crying...

Ruby:"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! MY FEARLESS SOLDIERS!" You pat her shoulder trying to comfort her loss as tears are endlessly going down her face...as you see Yang fist bump with Raiden

Yang:"Eh, most of them were probably androids."

Ruby(Quiet and High pitched):"Goodbye, my friends...You will be avenged!"

Yang:"Not until I draw my rewards, which are DOUBLED this round, thanks to the Mistral Trade Route."

Ruby:"Bah!" she yells as she starts hitting her head lightly against the table. You place your hand on her forehead to stop her from doing that

Yang:"Oh! And what's this? The smugglers of Wind Path?!"

Ruby:"Bah! Bah!! I say!" She yells while throwing her arms up and then slumping forward on to the table yet again, you pat her head.

Yang:"Looks like I'm taking two cards from your hand!"

Ruby:"HAVE YOU NO HEART!?" She yells and tears are endlessly pouring from her face yet again. She weakly groans "Noooooo...." And then she uses your arm as a tissue as she blows her nose into it.

You:"HEY!" You yell and wipe your arm on her as She sniffs and giggles before she takes your arm and starts crying and mumbling into it as she returns to her mental breakdown. "Shh...it'll be okay." You say while patting her back with your other hand.

Yang:"Well Weiss, it's your turn."

Weiss:"I have...Absolutely no idea what's going on" Yang slides over to Weiss

Yang:"Look it's easy. You're playing as Vacuo which means all Vacuo-based cards come with a bonus!"

Weiss:"That sounds dumb."

You:"You're dumb!" You drank coffee this morning...You and caffeine do not mix together well...probably why you and Team RWBY started the food fight with Team JNPR...

Weiss(Angrily):"What did you say!?" Yang begins to look through all of Weiss's cards.

Yang:"See, you've got Sandstorm, Desert Scavenge, Oh! Oh! Oh! Resourceful Raider! See now you can take Ruby's discarded air fleet--"

Ruby(Weakly):"Noooooo..." She groans

Yang:"--And put it in your hand! And since Vacuo Warriors have an endurance boost against natural hazards, you can use Sandstorm to disable my ground forces and simultaneously infiltrate my Kingdom!" She squints and points her finger at Weiss "Just know I will not forget this deceleration of war." She slides away still pointing at Weiss 

Weiss:"And that means....?"

Ruby:"You're only 3 moves away from conquering Remnant!" She yells sadly and goes back to crying. Weiss gets up and starts cackling evilly

Weiss:"MUAHAHAHAHA!!! YES! FEAR THE ALMIGHTY POWER OF MY FORCES! COWER AS THEY PILLAGE YOUR HOMES AND WEEP AS THEY TAKE YOUR CHILDREN FROM YOUR VERY AR-" Yang interrupts her monologue by putting a card in her face

Yang:"Trap card."

Weiss:"Huh?" Yang rearranges the board showing she's defeated both Ruby's and Weiss's Armies...

Yang:"Your armies have been destroyed" Weiss sits down and has a mental breakdown as tears go down her face.

Weiss:"I hate this game of emotions we play!" Ruby runs up in Weiss's lap and hugs her

Ruby:"Stay strong, Weiss! We'll make it through this together!" She yells with tears flowing down her face.

Weiss:"Shut up! Don't touch me!" She then hugs back...You can't help but laugh at them "YOU DARE LAUGH AT THE LOST OF OUR BRAVE SOLDIERS!?"

You:"Wait, wat?" Ruby glares over at you

Ruby:(First Name/Last Name)...((You in trouble now :3)) ARE YOU SAYING THAT MY SOLDIERS ARE MEANINGLESS TO YOU!?"

You(Stammering):"W-WAIT! WHAT!? N-NO! I-I MEAN YES! I MEAN..." Ruby and Weiss tower over you with fire in their eyes...Wait they don't even have semblances to do that you think to yourself...you then realize how screwed you  are when you see Ruby pull out her Crescent Rose...

Yang:"Um...Ruby?"

Raiden:"I think you should say something before she blasts you out of the Library.

You: "OK, OK, I'M SORRY! YOUR SOLDIERS WERE ALL BRAVE AND I'M SORRY THEY WERE CAUGHT OFF GUARD AND KILLED!" You cover your face, waiting for Ruby to do something...only to be completely caught off guard by a kiss on the cheek from Ruby.

Ruby:"Apology accepted.Moving on." You are so confused as to what just happened...you then slam your head against the table in frustration. Yang leans back and places her hands behind her head.

Yang:"Well, alright Blake, you're up." Blake seemed distracted up until now

Blake:"Huh?" You can tell she literally has no clue as to what just happened. "Oh. Um...Sorry, what am I doing?"

Yang:"You're playing as Vale, trying to conquer the Kingdoms of Remnant."

Blake:"Right." You hear Jaune approach the table

Jaune:"Hey! can I play?" You look at Jaune

Ruby:"Sorry Jaune, we already got 4 people."

Weiss:"Besides, this game requires a certain level of tactical cunning, which I seriously doubt you possess."

Yang:"Uhh.. You just attacked your own naval fleet two turns ago."

Weiss:"Hmph!"

Jaune:"Bring it on, Ice Queen! I'll have you know that I've been told that I'm a natural born leader."

Weiss:"By who? Your mother!?"

Jaune:"A-and Pyrrha." Pyrrha looks up from...her comic and waves at us

Pyrrha:"Hello again!" she goes back to reading

Jaune:"Come on! Let me play your hand for a turn!"

Weiss:"I'm not trusting you with the good citizens of Vacuo."

Jaune:"Why not!? You've trusted me with WAY more important stuff before! I mean you told us ll that Raiden used to be part of Torchwick's gang and that Blake is secretly a Fa-" Pyrrha runs up and covers Jaune's mouth

Pyrrha:"FUN-LOVING PERSON, Whom we all admire and respect!" You look to Raiden to see that he seems slightly annoyed and is glaring at all of you. Blake on the other hand looks absolutely livid. 

Jaune:"Right...that...ladies, enjoy your battle." He bows before walking away.

You:"Well...um...looks like the cat's out of the bag again. Heheheh-" Blake gives you the coldest death stare in existence and Raiden warps over to you and hits your head so hard that the chair you're on falls over. Again you and coffee do not go together... weakly "I deserve that..."

Sun:"Sup losers!" You look up from the ground to see Sun along with a guy with goggles and blue hair. 

Ruby:"Hey Sun."

Sun:"Ruby,Blake,Yang,Raiden,...Ice Queen."

Weiss:"Why does everyone keep calling me that!?"

You:"'Cause we can, Ice Queen." Sun looks down at you as your still on the ground

Sun:"And...(F)? You good down there?" 

You:"Yep just...'chair'ishing life at the moment." Everyone at the table except for Yang groans. Yang simply smiles and nods. "...I gotta stop drinking coffee." You get up and pick up your chair and place it down correctly and sit back down again.

Sun:"Anyways, I never got a chance to formally introduce you to my old friend."

Blue haired dude:"Aren't libraries for reading?"

Ren:"Thank you!" Ren's yelling woke up Nora abruptly

Nora:"Pancakes!" She yells suddenly

Sun:"Shut up. Don't be a nerd."

Blue haired dude:"Upupupupup. Intellectual. Okay? Thank you. I'm Neptune."

Weiss:"So, Neptune, where are you from?"

Neptune:"Haven..." Neptune walks over to Weiss "...And I don't believe I caught your name, snow angel." You throw up in your mouth a little. 

Weiss:"Um...I'm Weiss." You look at both of them for a bit...

Jaune(Whispering):"Are you kidding me?" You smile as you remember when Jaune tried using that name on Weiss during the first week of school

Neptune:"Pleasure to meet you."

You:"Hmm...I ship it"

Neptune/Weiss:"What?" 

You:"Oh, nothing." You smile deviously as Sun places his hands on the table and looks at Blake.

Sun:"I never took you as a board-game-playing type."

Blake:"Right. Well I think I'm done playing, actually." She gets up and starts walking away "I'll see you guys later." She walks away from the table. Sun looks at all of you and shrugs in confusion.

Nora:"Women." She says while shrugging.

You:"...I ship them."

Sun:"What?"

You:"Hmm? Oh, nothing."

Later

As you and the rest of Team RWBY enter your room you hear Yang being quite angry at the fact that after Blake left, Neptune(Or Jaune, your choice I guess since they don't specify who exactly since they say "New guy" which could mean Jaune as in a new player or as Neptune as he's new to the gang) took over and won...repeatedly.

Yang:"Uggh! We should've never let him play!" Ruby laughs

Ruby:"You're just mad because the new guy beat you. You see if you had just attacked when I told you to, none of this would've happened."

You:"Actually since he had already deployed Poison Sting, even attacking at that time would've just delayed the inevitable death of your soldiers. Since Yang's Kingdom didn't have resistance to poison."

Yang:"YOU DON'T GET TO SAY ANYTHING SINCE YOU DIDN'T PLAY!" You laugh before noticing that Blake is leaving the room and Weiss is looking at her

Weiss:"Stop." She points at Blake, Blake has her hand on the door but stops "Lately, you've been quiet, anti-social, and moody."

Yang:"Um...have you met Blake?"

Weiss:"Which I get is kind of your 'thing' . But you've been doing it more than usual, which frankly is unacceptable. You made a promise to me, to all of us, that you would let us know if something was wrong...So Blake Belladonna!" She front flips onto a chair, balancing on it and points at Blake "What is wrong!" She almost loses her balance and then quickly places the chair back and quickly steps back. Blake brings her hand up

Blake:"I just...I don't understand how everyone can be so calm."

Ruby:"You're still thinking about Torchwick." You glance at Raiden to see that he has his arms crossed while looking down.

Blake:"Torchwick, the White Fang, all of it! Something big is happening and no one is doing anything about it!"

Yang:"Ozpin told us not to worry about it. Between the police and the Huntsman I'm sure they can handle it."

Blake:"Well I'm not! They don't know the White Fang like I do. And I know they don't know Torchwick like Raiden does." Raiden doesn't respond to that, which...worries you.

Weiss:"Okay, between blowing up night clubs, stopping thieves, defeating Grimm with Plastic forks, and fighting for freedom, I'm sure the five of you think you're all ready to go out and apprehend these ne'er-do-wells..." Ruby seems confused by that last word

Ruby:"Uh...who?"

Weiss:"But let me again be the voice of reason...We're students. We're not ready to handle this sort of situation. 

You:"Besides...we're suggesting that we try to stop a evil master plan that took them probably years to develop, to which the masterminds to the plan are MUCH more experienced than us...we may be good but like Weiss said we may not be ready to handle this. I'm just trying to be realistic, we're going to get ourselves killed...this is the real world, we don't have plot armor to protect us." Ruby actually seems surprised by what you said.

Weiss:"Exactly."

Ruby:"Well, yeah, but--"

Weiss:"We're not ready!"

Blake:"And we may never be ready! Our enemies aren't just gonna sit around and wait for graduation day! They're our there, somewhere, planning their next move, and none of know what it is, but it's coming! Whether we're ready or not..." You think about this...and though you don't exactly fully agree with it, you do realize that she has a point. You look at Ruby

Ruby:"Okay...All in favor in becoming the youngest Huntresses and Hunters to single-handedly bring down a corrupt organization conspiring against the Kingdom of Vale...say 'Aye'."

Yang:"Yes! I love it when you're feisty." She says while pointing at Blake.

Raiden simply raises his hand, not speaking

You:"Well...even though I may not entirely like it, you make a good point, I'm in."

Ruby(Quietly):"None of you said 'Aye'..."

Blake:"Alright then. We're in this together."

Ruby:"Let's hatch a plan!"

Yang:"Yeah!"

Ruby:gasps "I left my board-game at the Library!"

Weiss:"We're doomed." Ruby bursts through the door, you follow after her.

Ruby:"You didn't have to come with me ya kn-" Ruby not looking where she's going, runs into a girl with brown skin with light green hair. "Ugh... oh... Sorry. Are you okay?" she looks up at her, you look over at the guy she's with. The guy has gray hair and you...feel something...odd with these two. The girl extends her arm to Ruby

???:"I'm fine. Just watch where you're going." Ruby grabs her hand and the girl pulls her up.

Ruby:"Oh...Right...sorry. Um, I'm Ruby and this is (F)!" You nod lightly at them "Are you...new?" A woman with Amber colored eyes walks in front of her

Amber-Eyed Woman:"Visiting from Haven,actually." ...Something isn't right with her you think, but your eye begins to hurt like hell when she got closer. You rub your eye to make it seem like there's just something in your eye 

Ruby:"Ooooooooh! You're here for the festival! OH, but exchange students have their own dormitory."

Grey-Haired Dude:"I guess we just got turned around."

Ruby:"Hehehehe, Don't worry, happens all the time!" They begin to walk past her "Uh, your building is just...east of here!" As the Amber-Eyed Woman starts to walk past you, your eye feels more pain.

Amber-Eyed Woman:"Thanks. Maybe we'll see you around." As she walks by you she looks at you and without activating your semblance, your eye ignites with Blue Flames, against your will. You hear slight whispers in your head as She smiles slightly as she focuses on you, not even remotely surprised...You just barely manage to notice as she turns away from you that her pupil had a slight amber-colored aura around it...Your eye stops hurting as she walks away and your eye's flames stop...you're terrified at the moment.

Ruby:"Yeah maybe...Oh um, Welcome to Beacon!" As they walk away you can't stop glaring at the Amber-Eyed Woman.

Ruby:"Well...they seemed...nice, well let's go to the Library now!" She yanks your arm and you run off with her to the Library.
