(Here we are at the Volume 2 Finale...kept you waiting huh? Reason I was gone for a while and didn't upload anything was because I was on vacation enjoying a lovely cruise...but now, I'm back! So think of it like a break in between Volumes...even though I stopped right before the finale of Volume 2._. ...but Volume 3 is DEFINITELY going to be the most amount of work I'm going to have to put in as...there are things that I'm shifting around and changing in story-wise...it won't be like changes that dramatically affect the story like Yang NOT getting her arm cut off and such...nah Yang's arm will still be getting cut off((Oops spoilers ;3))...that's a really key point actually for Raiden as you would imagine...but...a lot of major events for your character along with Raiden will happen, anyways thanks for listening to my senseless rambling and know that I'm back. talk to ya'll later! Volume 2 Finale: For a Better Tomorrow.

Last time on RWBY

You are...in Vale? You look around you to see many worried citizens...you see debris of the train everywhere...You look to see shards of ice everywhere and Team RWBY, Zwei, Oobleck, and the White Fang girl all lying on the ground...you hear rumbling next to you...as a King Taijitu emerges from a giant hole made from the train...They've made it into Vale.

This time on RWBY

You hear sirens just blaring as you slowly get up to your feet...you look over at Ruby's worried face as endless amounts of Grimm enter the city...you feel worn out as your body continuously trembles due to exhaustion...whatever power you had drawn out when seeing the Man in the Cloak has completely left you...you didn't even know what power that was...only it felt different than other times when using your semblance...you can't focus on that now.

You:"What...happened?" very weakly you pick up the White Fang girl and warp to a far away roof and place her against a wall of the roof before collapsing to your knees with exhaustion, you breathe in and out heavily as you look at the girl's face, still wearing the Grimm mask that they wear...you take off her mask and throw it off the roof...you get up very slowly as you look back at her...you really hope she'll remember this act of mercy...and start following the right path. You warp off of the roof to where Team RWBY is as they have all readied their weapons as they're on a small platform...completely surrounded by Grimm with a King Taijitu Grimm just flaring it's fangs. They all look at you worried...they can clearly tell you've wasted all of your energy.

Ruby:"(F)?"

You(Breathing heavily):"Yeah." you Conjure your Marasuma and slam the tip of your Trident into the ground, and put your weight on it to keep yourself up right.

Ruby:"Get out of here, find someplace safe."

You:"What? No. I'm not doing that."

Ruby:"You can't fight like this." Ruby glances towards you.

Yang:"I'm sorry (F), but you'll only get in the way"

You:"I can't just sit around and watch you all fight for your lives..." You pick up your Marasuma and hold in both hands...the tip of the Trident hangs low to the floor.

Weiss:"You've done your best, now let us do ours." You feel your rage building...

Blake:"You fought well, but we don't want to lose you either."

Raiden:"(F)..." Raiden walks up to you and places a hand on your shoulder "You protected me and that girl from the Man in the Cloak and you even surpassed me in strength when your snapped...let me protect you now..."

You:"I won't...allow myself to stop." You begin emitting blue electricity around your body "You know...when people are in danger...I WON'T ALLOW MYSELF TO REST! Even when my body trembles and I've given it my all, I have to keep pushing forward...for all of you. And for all of you I will never Stop!!" Your left eye bursts with vibrant blue electricity...you don't even care to ask WHY it's doing that...you thought it only consisted of fire...is this the King's power? Or something else? You can't dwell on that right now...

Everyone looks at you VERY surprised as Raiden smiles. You feel entirely rejuvenated somehow...electricity courses through your veins as you kick off the ground with such force that the entire surrounding area where your feet were have completely shattered as you fling into a giant group of beowolves. You fling your Marasuma using your aura and completely shatter the skull of a beowolf as it explodes backwards violently and hits several other Grimm as they fling backwards, the ground beneath them all shattering. You notice that all of Team RWBY has followed your example and have started battling the incoming Grimm. You grab your Marasuma and switch it into its HF-Engine Blade mode as electricity courses onto your Marasuma and is engulfed with electricity. You glance at Raiden who was fighting against a group of Beowolves as he just switched his Kitsune into a 7-Whip mode as he kicks off of a Alpha Beowolf and lands next to you.

Raiden:"Seems like you've gotten a new trick." You duck as he swings his whips around, taking out some of the Beowolves who were starting to surround you.

You:"Talk later. Save the city now." Raiden nods and bursts his eyes into flames as fire courses around his arm. You bring your arm up as electricity explodes around your arm. You and Raiden seem to have thought of the same thing. You both slam your fist into the ground and the result causes the entire area around you to shake as the ground shatters with fire and electricity flows out, every Grimm that was around you both was electrocuted before being burnt to a crisp. You look around to see that more Grimm just keep coming as a King Taijitu that was watching you all is going to strike at Ruby. Before you could even attempt to save her you hear the sound of something firing off...you look to where the sound was to see...Nora? She's riding on her hammer just flying towards you all before grabbing it with both hands and flies at the King Taijitu

Nora:"Nora Smash!!!" She yells as she slams her hammer on the Grimm's head as it flies into the ground destroying the ground around it.

You:"Nice shot, Nora." She smiles very big as the rest of Team JNPR appear behind her "Yeah, we've got reinforcements." You can tell Team JNPR are looking at you a bit oddly with your eye having electricity coming from it rather than fire, but they quickly nod at you before Pyrrha speaks

Pyrrha:"Let's move!" She yells while raising her fist before everyone except Jaune dashes off to fight, who seems to have forgotten that he was the leader for a second there...before dashing along with them. You duck under a claw belonging to a Beowolf who had snuck up behind you before it gets its head blown off by a shot from Ruby's Crescent Rose. You give her a thumbs up as she returns it and runs up to you.

Ruby:"You know that we're all here for you right?" She slices under an incoming Beowolf, sweeping it off of its feet before you jump up and plunge your Marasuma into it. You look at her a bit confused.

You:"Um yeah?" You switch your HF-Engine mode into your dual semi auto-pistol mode and fire into a group of Grimm that were charging at Weiss.

Ruby:"Then why does it seem you're not letting us help you? I mean I'm glad you've gotten...a new...power I guess? I don't know what it is, but still you got that because you wouldn't accept our help." You spin kick and then kick off of a Grimm that was getting close before facing that Grimm in midair before firing a shot into its skull.

You:"...I promised my mom I would be strong for those who love me...no matter what happens to me." Ruby faces you with her head slightly tilted.

Ruby:"And since I am a person who loves you, I don't want to watch you die either." You face her with your head down slightly. "Listen I love the fact that you're willing to sacrifice so much for us and that you never give up...but remember when Blake was letting everything get to her head before the dance? We want to help you, we are a team, and me and you are in a relationship. We're here as a team. So we can all get stronger together. I mean just look at Jaune." You both glance over at Jaune

Jaune:"Okay, who's first!" He yells with enthusiasm...when a big Ursa jumps down behind him...his look of bravery suddenly turns into an 'Oh crap' look. He slowly turns around and looks at the Ursa as the Ursa roars at him and slowly begins to back up. "Oh-oh-okay, you're first, huh? Okay, no, that's fine. Totally fine, done this before, done this before..." he takes a deep breath before shouting and slices at the Ursa repeatedly. It...stands there for a second before it falls down.

Ruby:"You see? He never would've been able to take down an Ursa like that if he didn't let his team help him. I know you're always into helping the team, but let us help you too...alright?" You smile a bit and nod at her. As she flies off by using the recoil of her Crescent Rose, you think to yourself as you shoot a Beowolf in the face as it jumped up behind you, ready to strike, you think to yourself...

You(In mind):"I guess I never really realized it...maybe the burdens and Responsibility of being Chronicle have just kind of tensed me up in asking others to help me...hmm..." Your eye stops flowing with electricity and you all of a sudden start feeling ALL the pain again. You look up to see that Sun and Neptune have arrived...who show off their shiny junior detective badges...you are SSSOOOO jealous over those.

Sun:"Nobody move! Junior detectives!"

Neptune:"We have badges so you know it's official." 'SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOO CCOOOOOOOOLLLLLL' you yell in your head as they give each other a fist bump.

You hear the roar of airships coming your way as you look up to see several Atlesian-class Dropships roar overhead along with General Ironwood's very own flagship...massive. You've all stopped fighting to stare at the incoming fleet, you didn't even notice the Ursa that was about to strike at Ruby before it gets gunned down by a dropship's mini-gun. The Airships begin to drop dozens of the new Atlesian Knight-200 that you've been hearing about and they begin firing into the hoards of Grimm. You see Cinder, Mercury, and Emerald all energy from...somewhere you guess as they also jump into the chaos...Emerald and Mercury seemed fine...somewhat to you, you enjoy Emerald more as she actually tries to make friend unlike Mercury where you had to give him 40 Lien in order for him to teach you some of his fighting moves which he did not explain at all and it was going to be another 100 Lien for him to actually explain it...you didn't accept that and learned it on your own sort of. As for Cinder...you know exactly how you feel about her, beautiful yet you don't trust her at. all. Her named seemed very familiar...you just don't know where. All of a sudden a metal hand shoots up from one of the holes created by the train.

You(In mind):"Oh what now!?" You ready your Marasuma as you see a damaged Paladin come out as...ZWEI JUMPS OUT YAY! And immediately take out a nearby Beowolf. You feel relieved to see the dog okay...oh and Oobleck too you guess. You look up to see that a dropship is dropping off Professor Port and...Team CFVY, YES! You love those guys.(Team CFVY is my personal favorite team) Team CFVY lands on the ground and dashes off as Yatsuhashi walks behind as a pack of Grimm surround him, he takes out his massive Greatsword as he slams into the ground creating a devastating shockwave sending every Grimm around him flying. You look over to where the Rest of Team CFVY ran off to see that Fox and Velvet are repeatedly punching and kicking a Grimm as Fox looks to see an Spiked Ursa charging before unleashing a series of combos of slashes and kicks before sending the Ursa flying before it explodes sending the Ursa's spikes everywhere, taking out any Grimm near it. You feel soooooo out classed here, you look to see Coco walk past Fox before giving him...a pat on the butt...you somehow forgot that Coco was like that.

Coco:"Nice hustle, Fox. Good job." she walks up to a large Beowolf before she lowers her sunglasses so the Beowolf could see her eyes. "You just destroyed my favorite clothing store." She readjusts her sunglasses again so they're in place before she spits on the ground "Prepare to die." SSSSSSSSOOOOOOO CCCOOOOOOOLLLLL. The Beowolf slices at her but its hand is immediately knocked out of the way by Coco swatting its hand seemingly effortlessly before kicking it in the crotch, as it falls to its knees. Coco leans down and looks at it in the eyes before swinging her bag back and slamming it into the Grimm's head. More Grimm charge at her as she effortlessly swats away all of them as Velvet grabs the box on her side...you're curious to see WHAT her weapon is...you've never seen it before. She's about to open it before Velvet raises her hand at her.

Coco:"Hey, come on, you just spent all the semester building that up. Don't waste it here." She then turns her bag into A GIANT FREAKIN' MINI-GUN WHICH YOU SSSSSSOOOOOOO WANT TO TOUCH! As she slaughters every Grimm in the area as Giant Nevermores begin to fly in she directs her fire into the sky and tears them to shreds as their bodies fall to the ground....SO. DAMN. COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLL!

You so want her autograph...but that'd be weird. You see that Oobleck and Port have regrouped and are sending massive fire down at incoming Grimm as Glynda Goodwitch comes storming up, looking absolutely livid as two Creeps run up behind her and jump at her. Which she flings away using her Riding Crop and her semblance. She walks up to the hole that the train made and using her Semblance she immediately closes the breach. The battle is over.

Later

After the last Grimm were wiped out you see that Emerald and Mercury have found Roman who...you don't know how he got there...you thought he was in the train...then again you were unconscious for a bit so you don't know. You regrouped with the rest of Team RWBY as you all are relieved that you were able to hold up against an entire underground crime network. You watch Roman being held by Mercury and Emerald as they push him towards an airship that will send him to his rightful jail cell...Raiden frowns as he watches him go in.

Roman:"Oh, I can't believe that you caught me, you've really taught me the error of my ways." they push him towards an Atlesian Knight who grabs his arm. "He-hey, watch the hat!" Roman sees Raiden and smiles "Heh, I'll be seeing you later, Whisper." God that's such an unoriginal name you thought...you knew Raiden felt the same about that. Though Raiden is giving him a death stare as Roman is pushed onto the ship. Emerald and Mercury come towards us smiling as we smile back. Team JNPR also smiles with you all along with Team CFVY and Professors Port and Oobleck with Glenda at a...reasonable distance also enjoying this somewhat. You breathe out relieved...though tomorrow you know you're gonna be sssoooorrrrreeee... Wait, what about that girl? You warp up -without telling anyone you were leaving- to the roof where you left the girl at...she's not there...but you see that her mask is still on the ground, well that's a good sign you suppose...you wonder if you'll ever see her again.

Yang(Yelling):"(F)!" You look down from the roof to see all of Team RWBY is down at the base of the building looking up at you "Get down from there, we're going to the docking station for a bit!"

You:"Coming!" You look back one more time before warping down...horrible idea as your adrenaline is dying down and ALL of the pain is going back as your eye begins to bleed

Ruby:"Eh...let's get you patched up first...you too, Raiden." Raiden nods and you make your way to the medic.

Later (Ruby's POV)

We all sit by the edge of Beacon's landing platform...don't know why but I guess the view is great. Raiden is laying his head on Yang's lap and (F) is resting his head against my shoulder and they both got bandages on the eye they use as soon as their adrenaline died down all of that pain came rushing back and their eyes began to bleed and bleh...that's gotta suck.

Yang: "Well, we did it."

Blake: "We did it."

Weiss: "If we don't get extra credit for that, I'm gonna be seriously disappointed."

Yang: Weiss, a two-headed snake literally crushed a bakery. I wouldn't count on it.

You(drowsy):"Don't forget about the clothing store...Coco made that clear."

Yang:"Pssh like that'll help.Ruby: Plus, I mean, we didn't solve everything. A lot of people were hurt, and we still don't even know why they did this, or who that mystery girl was."

You:"Or the Man in the Cloak." Riiigggghhhttt Raiden told us about that when he brought (F) up to the top of the train unconscious. Oh I hope he's not gonna have more nightmares...he was just getting over the old night terrors too...

Weiss:"Well, not every story has a neat and tidy ending."

Blake:"We might not have all the answers, but we do have a lot of dangerous people behind bars. And I think that's something we could be proud of."

Ruby: Yeah! And if anyone tries something like this again, we'll be there to stop them." Yang slowly lays down with Raiden still on her lap as she places her hands behind her head

Yang:"Yay, teamwork, camaraderie, good guys, go team, alright, good job... So, what now?"

Weiss:"I suggest training for the tournament, but I guess we have that covered at this point."

Blake:"So then..." Well I can only suggest one thing

Ruby:"Uhh... Time for bed?"

Yang: "Please."

Blake: Absolutely.

Weiss: Yes.

Raiden:"YYYYAAAAAAASSSSSSS!" He yells

Yang:"I'm going to sleep forever." I look over to (F) on my shoulder to see that he's already fast asleep. I sigh while smiling at him before moving his head gently onto my lap while running my fingers through his hair.

Ruby:"Looks like (F) already made that decision."

Raiden:"Don't worry I've got him." He gets up from Yang's lap and picks up (F) and places him on his shoulder as we all get up and begin to walk to our Room...Though...I really am worried about the people we haven't stopped yet...they seem more dangerous than Roman...but we don't even know who they are...well...I guess I can't worry about that now...I just have to hope for a better tomorrow...God that sounded so corny,I'm so glad people can't read my thoughts.
