(Why are so many people reading this...WELL NOT THAT I DON'T TREASURE MY VIEWERS BUT IT GETS FRIGHTENING ! Um... (._.)..., annnyyyywaaayyysss enjoy? BTW this is a long chapter due to all of the things that happen in this episode is mostly fight sequences)

(Volume 1) Part 7: The Wildcard among the Pieces

You feel the wind go through your (H/C) hair while looking at the beautiful scenery, birds are singing and flowers are blooming as you're hundreds of feet in the air on top a screeching Nevermore that is carrying the four of you aimlessly through the air and currently stabbing it in the thigh...you actually kinda feel bad for it even though you know it has no Soul.

Weiss:"THIS IS A HORRIBLE IDEA!"

You:"THEN YA SHOULDA SAID SOMETHING EARLIER!"

Ruby:"WE'RE FINE WEISS! STOP WORRYING!"

Weiss:"I AM SO FAR BEYOND WORRYING!"

Ruby:"IN A GOOD WAY!?"

Weiss:"IN A BAD WAY! IN A VERY BAD WAY!"

You:"SO...WHAT NOW!?" You yell to everyone

Ruby:"UMMM....I DON'T KNOW!?"

Raiden(Speak)/Weiss:"WHAT!?!?" They both yell simultaneously

You try to think of a way off of the Nevermore that doesn't involve...well falling to death...then you remember that you can just warp! But...your still recovering from last time and your head was still pounding....you really gotta learn to use your Phase abilities more so you don't go down after two uses of it.

You then remember that...dream you had when you passed out...though you don't remember most of it, you DO remember the destroyed Beacon Tower...though you remember something else...it had...SOMETHING to do with Raiden but you aren't sure what exactly...hmm...as you snap back to reality you notice something's off...Ruby's not on the Nevermore anymore

Weiss:"OH YOU INSUFFERABLE LITTLE RED-" You interrupt her insulting of a person who's not even in front of her

You:"WHERE'D RUBY GO!?"

Weiss:"SHE JUMPED!"

You look to where Raiden is...or...at least where he USED TO BE!

You:"WHERE'S RAIDEN!?"

Weiss:"HE JUMPED TOO!"

You:"I'MA KILL HIM!" you yell while steadying yourself on top of the Nevermore

Weiss:"OH DON'T TELL ME THAT YOU'RE JUMPING TOO!?"

You jump off without even giving her a response and go into a free fall, while falling straight down you see a bunch of tiny figures which you can just barely make out to be people. You feel like you can at least conjure your weapon and so you do. You press the button on the side to switch it into HF Engine Blade mode. You throw your weapon down with full force and you instantly warp to the ground leaving that Cosmic Blue trail behind you.

Despite the horrible headache you have, you landed safely. You get up slowly and see Ruby, Yang...whose eyes were red and her hair was on fire...that's new, you can see Raiden failing to try to calm her down, the person in black who Ruby and Yang talked to yesterday...who now looks a little familiar oddly enough, a tired ninja looking dude and a very happy girl in pink. All of them are looking at you.

Ninja dude:"Why do people keep falling from the sky?"

You(Out of breath):"It's...a long story." You look behind them and see what seems to be the temple behind them and what seems to be a bunch of...chess pieces on pillars? A bunch of Gold and Black pieces but...there's barely any left(Yes I know there's a bunch of them left in the actual show but bare with me)

You then look in front of you to see that red headed girl from the locker room being chased by a Death Stalker

You:"Uh...should we help her?" Before anyone could respond however you hear a voice in the air...you realize it's Weiss

Weiss:"WHY DID YOU ALL LEAVE!?"

Ruby:"I said 'jump'..."

Girl in Black:"She's gonna fall..."

Ruby:"She'll be fine."

Ninja Dude:"She's falling..."

Ruby:"Uh (F)? Raiden? Can one of you...you know...do the thing you guys do."

You:"We're both kinda outta of it at the moment...sorry."

You then see Jaune hop out of a tree and catches Weiss in midair

Jaune:"Just...dropping in?" You think how are they still in the same spot in the air

Jaune all of a sudden looks down and that heroic catch now turns into 'a please hold me' hold while they both fall down with surprising speed

As they fall to the ground Jaune falls first followed by Weiss landing on his back

Weiss:"...My hero..."

Yang:"Great! The gang's all here! Now we can all die together!" she says while the Red head gets blown back by the Death Stalker to where the rest of the group is

Ruby:"Not if I can help it!" You hear her reload her Crescent Rose and immediately try to stop her

You:"Wait, maybe you shouldn't rush in-" It was too late as Rose petals fly across the field "Alone..." you say with a face of disappointment...

Yang:"Ruby,wait!"

Again too late as she tries taking down the Death Stalker...which fails immediately as she gets hit by one of the Death Stalker's Pincers.

You:"Ruby!" you try to rush over to her, only to feel the ground rumble beneath you and get pulled back by Raiden as a King Taijitu bursts from the ground both of its head stares at Ruby, you knew it was gonna go after her so you Conjure your Marasuma and use your Aura to power your throw as you throw it at its White head, knocking it through the forest

Ruby:"D-Do-Don't worry! Totally fine!"

You look to Raiden and he nods as he runs after the King Taijitu and you look to Ruby and run off to try to help her, She fires a few rounds into the head of the Death Stalker, having no effect she runs back, you look back to see Yang also running towards her

Yang:"Ruby!"

You see the Nevermore now approaching 'JUST PERFECT' you yell in your mind as you start to try to Phase dash forwards...which fails as your not ready for that step in your Semblance, you instead Phase forward a little and then trip over yourself as the blue particles from the failed Phase Dash fade you now see it was luck that you managed to fall because the Nevermore is now shooting its feathers at You, Yang, and Ruby.

You cover your head as the Razor sharp feathers trail by you, after the initial attack you look at Yang to see if she's fine, you're revealed to see that she is but look to Ruby to see her hood is stuck in one of the feathers pierced to the ground. You try to get up, only to feel a horrible sharp pain in your leg, you look to it to see it bleeding a little, You notice that there's a feather near your leg...if your leg was any further it would've been cut your leg clean off. You Conjure in some bandages and begin wrapping it around your leg quickly to try to help Ruby as quick as you can.

Yang:"RUBY!" It was too late, the Death Stalker is towering over Ruby and its stinger is ready to strike. You freeze, everything starts to go white...what is this you're feeling...your semblance? Before everything fully goes white, you see a blur past by you and Yang and suddenly Ice forms around Ruby and...Weiss? Your vision returns to normal as you see that she'll be safe now.

Weiss:"You are so childish..." she says as the Stinger is just inches away from her as its completely covered in Ice

Ruby:"Weiss?"

Weiss:"And dimwitted, and hyperactive, and DON'T even get me started on your fighting style, And I suppose, I can be a bit...difficult. But if we're going to do this, we're going to have to do this...together. So if you quit trying to show off I'll be...nicer." You couldn't believe what you were hearing, she's trying to be...nice?

Ruby:"I'm not trying to show off. I want you to know I can do this"

Weiss:"You're fine." She says while walking away from Ruby who...seems to be whispering something that you couldn't make out.

Ruby looks over at the Death Stalker and sees that it's still moving, she looks back and sees Yang run up to her and hugs her, you slowly get up and look over in the direction where Raiden ran off to with the King Taijitu.

Yang:"I'm so happy you're okay!" You hear the screech of the Nevermore circling around

Jaune:"Guys, that thing's circling back. What are we gonna do?" You see Raiden run back out of breath and you pat his back and look into the forest with no trace of the King Taijitu in sight. You sign to him and ask 'Did you kill it?'...he pauses, looking like he's seen something bad...but he signs 'No, I got distracted by someo-" he stops and then rephrases it to "by something and it got away, it should be back soon. You were about to ask him what did he see but Weiss starts talking before you can actually sign it

Weiss:"Look, there's no sense in dilly-dallying. Our objective is right in front of us."

Ruby:"She's right. Our mission is to grab an artifact and make it back to the cliffs. There's no point in fighting these things."

Jaune:"Run and live. That's an idea I can get behind."

You see Jaune and Ruby pick up the Rook and Knight pieces and start leaving you and Raiden go up to the Temple and see...there's only one left...you think to yourself that everyone else must've gotten their piece then...and seeing how Yang is also holding a Knight piece...your heart hurts a little because you won't be on Ruby's team it seems...though...the more you look at the last remaining piece...You notice it isn't a chess piece at all...It looks like a leviathan...Looking at the color is also strange instead of Gold or Black, it's made of some shiny grey metal. You look back to see everyone starting to but all are waiting for you and Raiden.

Weiss:"Just pick it up already, it's the last one jeez."

You sign to you brother 'This...looks strange? Don't you think?', Raiden sighs and signs 'We'll figure this out later, lets go the others are waiting. You and Raiden run up to the others and look back at the Death Stalker to see that it's starting to break free.

Ninja Dude:"Time we left."

Ruby:"Right. Let's go." she says while she leads everyone away, something about that put a little smile on your face.

You and the rest start heading up to what looks like an abandoned Temple...well...this one was MUCH bigger than the one with the Chess pieces, you feel the wind of the Nevermore's powerful wings flapping and see it going to the top of the Temple and giving a ear-deafening screech

Yang:"Well that's just great." All of a sudden the Death Stalker bursts from the forest and it looks pissed off.

You:"Even better!" You feel the ground beneath you crumbling and you warp to the top of one of the pillars and see the King Taijitu from earlier burst through the ground.

You:"JUST PERFECT!" you yell while Warping around to the other pillars to try to get the Nevermore distract it. You look to Raiden to see that he's pelting the Nevermore with...plastic spoons...everyone kinda looks at him before going back to firing their weapons at the Death Stalker and the Nevermore.

You:"RAIDEN! WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL!?"

Raiden shrugs and signs to you 'What?'

You:"UGH! Just help me with the King Taijitu

You Conjure your Marasuma-Still in it's HF Engine Blade Mode- and using your aura, you throw it at the Black head of the King Taijitu causing the head to be knocked back violently before screeching as you warp to it and slice at its head repeatedly.

You see Red particles fly past you as Raiden is...FINALLY USING HIS DAMN CLOUD KITSUNE...though he made major modifications on it, though just being a Red High-Frequency Katana before, now it has a modification for dust crystals and...a button on it's side that you weren't too sure of what it did, well that is until Raiden pushed it and and the blade suddenly splits apart to three whip-like structures and Raiden adds electricity to it, giving the whips a nice Blue glow to it.

Raiden grabs one of the King Taijitu's head down with his Whip...blade? You're calling it the Whip-blade. and it gives a shrilling cry as it's electrocuted. You push the button on the side of your Marasuma and turn it back into it's Trident form and slam it into the other head of the King Taijitu.

Raiden's eye bursts into flames. You fill your eye with blue flames, despite it hurting like the living embodiment of death itself you jump down to Raiden and give him your Trident. Slamming the trident into the ground and using it as an anchoring point he uses all of his strength he flips the King Taijitu over himself!

Raiden(Speaking):"GGGGRRRAAAAHHH!" He yells as the King Taijitu is flying at the Death Stalker and you see the four fighting them, have noticed and fleeing from it. They crash into each other and both are defenseless as they are atop of one another.

Raiden then grabs you and again using the Trident as an anchoring point he throws you...very...VERY high in the sky your Trident Conjures in your hand as you're spinning downwards but Raiden warps up to you with both of your eyes' flames burning brighter and bigger, Raiden then grabs your leg and spins you around, faster and faster, faster, and faster, until you both look like a spin top and lets you go with full force!

You can barely see as you are going down with blinding speed you plunge straight downwards with your Trident straight down getting closer with blinding speed at the last second you place a Fire Dust crystal into your Trident and you plunge your Trident through both of them and the entire area explodes. As the full weight of your speed hits them, it fully crushes them into the ground beneath them, it feels like an earthquake just hit the area. You look down as the dust settles from the explosion...You are an absolute mess, your clothes are tattered and your Left eye is bleeding heavily and as you look around you, the crater you made is 6 ft wide and 7 ft deep...You suddenly feel the weight of your legs collapsing and start to pass out again, but before you can, you see Red particles in front of you and see Raiden holding you up, his right eye is also bleeding. he smiles. You smile weakly and he warps you back up out of the crater.

Jaune:"Holy..."

The 4 of them seem to be amazed at you both

You look up to where Ruby and the rest where fighting to see...Ruby running up the side of the mountain while dragging the Nevermore with her Crescent Rose before reaching the top and slicing its head clean off...so bad-ass is all you can think. Well before you pass out due to exhaustion

Later

You're at the Main Hall yet again looking at the all of the teams being called out. You have a bandage on your left eye...as if that would help and Raiden has one on his Right eye...great. You look up to the screen and see Team RWBY displayed on the screen

Ozpin:"Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long. The four of you retrieved the white Knight pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as...Team RWBY. Led by...Ruby Rose." You clap loudly and see Yang hugging Ruby...you're so proud of her...though...the piece you got...no one else have seem to have gotten it...

Ozpin:"Looks like things are shaping up to be an...interesting year." Ozpin glances at you and Raiden while he says that. Glynda comes up to the Mic and announces that you will be assigned to your dorms tonight. As she continues talking, Ozpin steps down from the stage and starts approaching you and Raiden.

Ozpin:"Mr. Raiden, Mr.(F), accompany me for a while, we need to have a talk about your...future of your time here at Beacon.

You look down...you know that he's sending you home...but before you can dwell on it anymore you look at the newly formed Team RWBY come up to you and Raiden as Ozpin stands by the door of the Main Hall. You can see Ruby worried along with Yang, no doubt wondering of why you weren't assigned to a team.

Ruby:"R-Raiden? (F)? Y-you got a chess piece right?"

You:"We did but...it's complicated...looks like we may not stick around here..."

Ruby:"B-but why? You did what they asked you to! I-I don't...want you to leave..."

You:"...Me neither...but...I can't control that...I'm sorry..."

You see Yang in the background giving Raiden her Scroll number before kissing him on the cheek which Raiden responds by turning red and scratching the back of his neck embarrassingly.

You smile softly at them and look back at Ruby

"Well...seems like this is goodbye for now..."

Ruby:"I..." she seems like she wants to say something but can't get it out

Ruby:"(F) I...l-lov-" Ozpin approaches us and looks to you and Raiden and Ruby stops speaking

Ozpin:"Come now, we don't have all day." he walks off and with a heavy heart you turn from Ruby and wave goodbye to the rest...and head out the door of the Main Hall
